This thread made me remember an episode in my life where I was starting with all this gambling, caisno games and all this, because I always played dice the most, I was always aware of the strategies, the different ways I could do things with respect to the dice, I even saw specialized dice groups where they shared strategies and I saw that some players said that the hours of playing and that the days also influenced winning or losing, so because of this it was always that everyone Every day I researched, played, won, lost, tried new strategies, always on YouTube each Youtuber came out with a strategy different from the other, I mean, that for me was like a job, it was something that I saw it that way.

Man, that makes his lives in a big mess because he has two addiction which needs to cure. He can't do other things when he is addicted to drug because I have seen some addict drug people who doesn't want to do anything and just lying down in their chair or bed. One can't stand the pressure of gambling while high on alcohol, I've seen TikTok videos of a woman that lost lots of dollars in gambling, because she was drunk. although gambling is a probable scinarior,getting yourself high before gambling is almost like trying to lose by all means. Analysis plays a great role in most gambling and being under the influence of drugs won't do you anything good in ascertaining if you could possibly get a win or not. I know some people say that they think better when they are under the influence of alcohol and that might possibly be the angle he is coming from but if it's not working well for him it's best he rethinks and set up better gambling strategy that will help him out.

OP that's is a good advise, as soon any human being wakes up in the morning, his mindsets is not stable, and it is ideal to take any decision at this point considering how risky it is, when we wake in the morning the entire system will just be trying to kick start their function for the day, so any activities carried out at this time might be disastrous, gambling is not a childish game, so if anyone is playing gamble carelessly unless you just want to play for fun if not the decision you take when you are making your selections matters, you have to study many things before arriving to a conclusion, that's gambling for us, if you gamble with use of drug in your system it almost impossible for you to win.

It's true that gambling early morning and losing would ruin the whole day for us but at the same time I wouldn't gamble in late nights as well.
Gambling late night and losing would ruin my sleep since I would keep thinking about the losses and won't be able to sleep.
The best time would be around evening where we get some time to digest the losses and then we can sleep.

I agree with the early morning gambling point of view, as the day is just starting and getting yourself emotionally down due to high losses in gambling can ruin the whole day, but I don't also see the same thing when it comes to gambling at night. 
 
When ever I'm unhappy and need ways to cool myself off, the first option I place on the table is to sleep. If I can be able to sleep, I will be rest assured that I won't wake up with those things that were keeping my mood down, so if I'm to gamble late at night and I eventually lose, that won't affect myself; rather, anger will make me sleep on time and peacefully, as it will be the only option I have at that moment. Every other thing will only increase the anger.

For sure there were instances that it turned out with a good outcome. Being under influence of alcohol perhaps won't determine your luck. No one has control of luck anyway. However, the advantage of being aware is to be in control of your bets in particular with numbers or amount of what you will wager. Even with times (if you had any experience) of overlooking the amount you are suppose to wager, there are regrets for sure so what more with whole betting session. Influence of such, could also push you or give you bigger confidence to continue betting even if you are already in loss. And if you happened to be in profit, you could be wanting for more due to that influence, and end up without anything but loss.

I can't imagine what he must do with his two addiction because drug addiction is dangerous and if he have addicted to gambling, he can ruin his lives anytime and losing everything. There are some activities that one should engage in when in the right frame of mind and gambling is one of them. Anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol should go home and rest instead of going to the casino to waste money. I usually see drunk people in casinos and from close observation they are not in control of the game. Such a person might not follow his gambling plan and might play above their income.
