It is hard to change people's mind if it's about gambling. Those that have been believing that it's a way to make money but they don't gamble at all, it's like you're arguing to a kid over a cotton candy and that kid won't allow you to win the argument. I guess the reason why it's monoperspectivism is a thing is because we grew up with white and black, no in-betweens that melds both colors, we were groomed by the society to think that choices only comes in pairs. I think there are varying opinions on what and how gambling is and should be played. I think there are people who see gambling less as an entertainment and more of an option on how to win some more money.
While they see it as an option to win some more money, it doesn’t mean that they’re going to chase their losses so far down, they’ll become addicts. Gambling can really be fun sometimes and but not many people are able to realize this because their mind and attention is so focused on the money. But if we can give it a second thought, there is so much fun we can catch gambling on our favorite events. I do remember those times we hangout friends to watch soccer in a bar were we can even place side bets after betting on our favorite teams in the platforms, whatever becomes the outcome, we just laugh over it and move on and it was all fun.
