I only gamble for fun, it's my escape to relieve my stress and boredom. I always make sure that I only gamble with only at least 5% of my salary so it won't hurt much when I lose. In my community, some youths take gambling as a source of income, but it’s really surprising to me, they will wake up, take their bath, wear their clothes, and they will head straight to gambling house, that’s were some of them will spend the rest of the day at. Some of them have no job, they take gambling as their only source of income, some will beg for money, and immediately you give them, they will be going to gambling house directly with the money, which is not making any sense to me. Gambling is suppose to be for fun, and  not what you should do for a living. I haven’t seen any addicted gambler in my community achieve anything before, they are always complaining that they are financially down.

That is bad, but unfortunately, a lot of people do that and I have seen people doing it too. There can be several reasons behind a person considering gambling as their source of income, some might do it because they are too lazy to find and do a job, some might do it because they are not well-educated and know they can't find a job that would pay them a good salary, and some might do it because they believe it is an easy way to earn true money but only if you could do that constantly.

If you say that gambling is fun is an idiom then I will support your assertion. I have read others have said this in several occasions that gambling is not for fun and when one wants to have fun then they would go to leisure parks to enjoy themselves with games over there. Sometimes with families and friends. The fun is at the leisure parks and not in the gambling casinos Industry. And also I see gambling as means of looking for extra pocket money for the gambler because there is no way some left home and hustle for money and got it then go to the sports book center and play games and loss all then come back home. I was an advocate of this (gambling solely for fun and nothing else) but honestly, I've changed my mind, it is wrong to believe that people will spend all of their hard earned money on gambling just for them to have fun, very wrong believe if you ask me.
There are several games people can play for free for fun's sake, there are video games that are way more interesting and fun to play than any slot or casino game, there are also some really good betting games that are far more intriguing to play than sports betting, what exactly do you think make slot games, Casino games, and even sports betting so interesting that people would want to spend their money on it just to have fun? I'm using myself as an example, there was this job that I got sometime ago which made me not to have time for myself as the job eats up all my time. To be honest the title said it all  Gambling for fun and not a way of making money I do believe there is a person who literally do gamble because he is bored or something that doesn't really care about money and he do gambling just for pure entertainment to fill his activity. I mean most of the people who do gamble to trying their luck and nothing wrong with it.
