You are right and I completely agree wit you, and just to add, I would say that it's also very important we understand that there are several games where the casinos doesn't loss a dime even when the gambler wins.

A good examples are third party games, like maybe slot games that are provided by third party game providers. For such games, the casinos job is to only provide an interface where that connects the gamblers to the third party providers gaming platform, when ever a player wins, the third party provider pays that won amount to the casino, the casino then takes their own commission and then pays the winner his winnings.

So, for such games, casinos in particular never lose, because whether a gambler wins or loses, it doesn't affect them, they simply just make money from the commissions they are taking for providing the link between the player and the game provider.
