 Wetin really pain me be say I go market to buy items for soup today, so I come across one lady wey dey sell palm oil , the normal price I know a week ago for a bottle na 750 as i ask the woman the price, she say na 900 currently, Instead of to argue I say make I check another shop for market to know if she dey sincere about the price but the new woman tell me 1k, I still no argue I go back to go buy from the other woman since her own dey cheaper, lo and behold the former price she say na 900 done turn 1050 Naira, omo out of shock I ask her why the price just increase in space of few mins, she tell me say as dollar dey increase na so price dey increase. Omo wetin come pain me pass na as I go to buy vegetable, the price dey tell me for one tiny vegetable, I no fit laugh.
 Eh sound funny but the thing pain me die, and I dey wonder when all this local traders done begin dey use dollar rate dey sell their goods, eh no make sense at all. Eh just be like for person to cut plantain for em backyard then carry go market dey sell with dollar rate. Many local marketers done dey also join major traders to take advantage of the current situation, eh no make sense at all. This economic crisis no be only them eh dey affect eh reach everybody so make them stop to dey use price kill people, the bad thing about the matter na be say no matter how you complain or argue with them, you go still dey forced to buy no matter the cost, just to avoid hunger. Anyway the thin choke as e done be say even ocra wey person dey plant for em back yard sef done add em own price. But I no dey too blame many of them because some dey from very far place dey go sell their goods for market, imagine place when you dey pay transport of k2000 with your goods from your house to the market before and now nah k5000 and some of them no dey get better gain for those pety pety  trade wey them dey do, some atimes we no suppose to blame them.
Although many of them dey use this opportunity take dey increase price of their good when them no dey even buy from anybody, just like the ocra, person dey plant am for em back yard and em dey sell am in a high price, abi back yard sef them dey import am?
But the palm oil own be say them dey use fuel dey manufacture am and a liter of fuel is 700 to 800 naira in some areas. Look down to some of the remote villages, price of a liter fuel is 1k and above already because how can fueling stations sell fuel at 700 to 800 and the black markers in a remote village will sell a liter of fuel same 800, it's not possible because many of them we want their own gain and their own transport fares too, which means they will sell a liter of fuel 1k and above. Many oil manufacturers based in the village and we know in the villages things are cost especially villages were you have to cross water (Rivers).

Nigeria is a funny place. The story is about something that has been happening all over Nigeria. Some people take this instance of a dollar increase to increase their goal because they see that if others who are importing their goal from outside countries are increasing their price because of the dollar rate, then they will also do the same, seeing as it is also applicable to them, which does not work that way.

You know that your items are Nigerian-made and manufactured. They aren’t supposed to increase the amount of their goal when the dollar increase is very bad. That is why sometimes we are the ones making life hard for us and still continue to blame the government, thinking the main issues are from the government when we are the ones creating the problem for ourselves. 

The main thing that I expected to increase in price due to the dollar rate are even the things that are not that expensive because their prices are not going that high compared to food stuff, and if this continues to happen, the poor people in the country are the ones to suffer the most because they will start suffering from starvation, which can trigger ulcers or even death. So if the traders continue to do this, the rich will only complain, but they will still purchase it, while the poor will continue suffering. The traders are the ones that are supposed to lower the price of the goals they are selling.

This your topic is extremely laughable because I see that you just returned from abroad, welcome to naija you see this matter is just like what my people do say if one finger touch oil it affects others finger, I would not blame local farmers it producer example water leave production some need fertilizer,apart from that some is the issue of transportation. Beside if your selling cheap in your product and what you sold can't afford you others items that is your need it will not work. You never considered if they pays labourers while processing these home products, you don't consider if they buys substances like fertilizer and the pest control substances, you don't don't consider if they pays transportations during the planting and cultivations and productions of these products atleast considering the cost of fuel.
