I didn't knew Pavel Durov actually tried to distance him from TON coin. There was an announcement on his telegram channel that all he owns are shares of telegram, bitcoin and toncoin. With the telegram advertisement funding and payment both through TON coin there's no doubt TON is the official currency of telegram.
He might have said to just to be safe from SEC and keep doing legit business in US. Though Telegram has been able to bypass biggest of restriction attempts, they can't lose US.
I was bullish on TON and had some in my wallet but someone suggested me the defi tokens on TON chain would have more potential so I jumped to it.

with this news, i think we will be seeing a lot of podcasters and influencers going to be creating their own channel to develop and make a profit through their channel with TON.

The exact numbers of target audience coverage and the ratio of their % to rewards are not yet known. Of course, a bunch of fake channels with a bot farm will appear. I think TON developers should take this factor into account. For myself, I see an excellent opportunity to invest in TON now (albeit belatedly), because I think it can easily give x10 within a year.

You are absolutely right. I am currently a TON holder because I believe Telegram has a connection with TON. To be honest, I was shocked by this news because I didn't understand TON in such detail. But for now TON is showing positive results. But I think it's the projects inside that are more interesting. I think they will have great potential in the future.

IIRC, it was announced that TON owned by Telegram. I guess that this is all about the avoidance of what may have Pavel and his company to be in hot pursuit by the SEC. It's been a long progress for the project and this type of ad revenue sounds good and how users are going to benefit from it. Honestly, most platforms should have this type of business model and everyone will be happy to participate with these ad revenue sharing scheme for everyone to get active with their platforms and contents. But before that, I hope that they'd remove most of the scammy channels that are using them as their base because there's a lot of it that are hiding on them and the impression was there if someone talks about telegram and crypto scam, it means that they're on Telegram.

This is the challenge here. I'm sure the SEC would not simply believe it if Telegram founders or owners will say they do not allow US users to use the feature. Having a clause in their terms and conditions prohibiting US citizens will not be enough either as implementing that would be tough too.

For myself, I see the prospect of TON and can give a direct analogy with BNB. At the beginning it cost $0.2, then $2, and later it approached $20 and made a dizzying rise of $200/300/400/500. I see in TON an equally strong infrastructure token that can provide good profits in the near future. but i think that telegram can get their permission to allow their users to send or receive tons of tokens from their wallets, even though that permission might be burdensome for users because they need to comply with kyc and aml regulations, but that's the only way. and it is possible that all transactions carried out by users will be monitored by us authorities.

They didn't refuse the TON token per se, as they were totally involved developing it. They just cancelled the sale because of SEC ruling it a security, after that they published the source code, distanced themselves from it and let other people develop it further. And since TON community seems to support telegram by offering grants for people who are developing telegram mini apps, i am assuming that this is a way Durov chose to repay that favor. And as the fact that this brings actual utility, it makes it most valuable collaboration for TON that i know of.

So depending how telegram chooses to acquire their TON coins from the markets, buy pressure could even be constant.
This is actually first good news i have heard about TON for a while. It doesn't make it special or interesting in any way to me, but it might affect the price of it in the future.

It's great news for ton community i guess. Sharing ad revenues is a common strategy to increase the market capital of a project because many people will start accumulating the project token. The founder of TON said that he has no involvement with the ton project but he will still share the revenue with TON which means a lot of things have changed. They must have been secretly working together to monetize one of the world's largest social media platforms. Lets see what SEC do about it.
