I am not suggesting that anyone buys shitcoins.  I specifically assert that guys should focus on bitcoin first and learn bitcoin first and not invest in any shitcoins, yet if they are going to do it, then you cannot really stop people from wanting to explore or even buying into the various shitcoin talking points... so I frequently will suggest to invest no more than 10% the size of their bitcoin holdings into shitcoins.,,so to at least limit themselves if they cannot resist shitcoining, trading bitcoin and/or gambling... but people are going to do what they are going to do... but if we can at least get them to consider limiting their shitcoining and focusing mostly on bitcoin with their time, energy and/or their investment value, then maybe they will learn from that.

How are you going to completely stop people from shitcoining?  Just refuse to talk with them?  Completely close your ears to them? This part of your post got my attention because you are correct about some people to be ignorantly shallowing away with shitcoins and or trying to trade Bitcoin at first before realizing that they are on the wrong track but not all get so lucky and courageous enough to redirect their steps after being knocked down because they may feel that they are all the same, those that will find this more difficult are those that were sweet tongued in to it and when they got there they saw different thing and got burnt,  but you are right about how people can not be completely stopped from shitcoining and another challenging thing is about how to limit it without cheating especially when there is much energy to make quick money from it which is always uses as a bait. It takes quite a bit of discipline to figure out and employ meaningful limitations and to not get sucked into cheating by breaking such limits or reestablishing such limits in order to increasingly allow for more and more shitcoining, trading and/or gambling.

It seems to me that some folks are not going to be satisfied by "just say no" to shitcoins/trading, so they likely need some abilities to gamble and/or to shitcoin and/or to explore the various ideas and hopefully figure out that many of the shitcoiners are lying (exaggerating) about their product, and that there are fundamental bitcoin dynamics at a protocol level that contributes towards bitcoin being quite difficult to be replicated, including that it is likely way better to be investing into bitcoin rather than trying to trade it and then ending up selling way too much bitcoin too soon and/or failing/refusing to suffiently/adequately stock up on bitcoin.

Even though investing in bitcoin is not guaranteed, and it is not even guaranteed to do better than various shitcoins, yet at the same time, it seems to be a good thing that you have learned your lesson from shitcoining, and perhaps you will keep an overwhelming majority of focus of your time, energies and value invested into bitcoin.

Even if you feel that you are late to bitcoin (because of your previous screw ups and distractions into shitcoins), you may also find it quite valuable that you had gone through such negative experience in order to recognize/appreciate how dangerous it can be to get distracted into shitcoins, and some guys never seem to learn their lesson and they keep going back to shitcoins and trying to find the next shitcoin that is going to pump and they get distracted by the noise of shitcoins and the lure of quick profits (that likely will never come in any kind of a meaningful way. since sure some guys might have some temporary wins with their involvement in shitcoins, yet it is quite unlikely to be sustainable in any kind of a meaningful way).

Sometimes "shock to the system," ends up contributing to motivation, and surely your own experiences are helping to reinforce better habits for you, and surely each of us will be likely to continue to make mistakes at various points along the way, yet, if at the same time, we work upon prudent and reasonable cashflow management and investment systems/practices (even if aggressive), then we likely will still be in the game 4-10 years and longer down the road as we are continuing to reassess and tweak the systems and practices that we have in place.  We learn from our mistakes and our mistakes are not greate enough to take us out of the game, even if we might experience various set backs at various points in our path.

If someone have not falling into the trap of shitcoins, they won't understand how worthless those coins are. I wouldn't want to start narrating about my own experience with altcoins and shitcoins way back but anyone will understand why i choose bitcoin as my favorite coin and not to be distracted by any shitcoins. However, many of us have learnt the hard way after investing on shitcoins and saw the damages they did to us. There's a saying that ''experience is a great teacher'', if you don't experience it, you won't learn the lessons. I am now glad i choose to invest and hodl bitcoins because am at peace with myself regardless of the market sentiments. Almost Everyone has had such a sad and tempting experience, most investors were initially interested in such shitcoins hoping to get more profit, where they invest their hard-earned money and in the end get only disappointment as a result, but they have understood the right thing over time and are currently holding Bitcoin because they are interested in Bitcoin. Hey man, you going reverse on what @Barikui1 has clearly explained about how he would rather invest with his discretionary income. He said 95% for bitcoin investment while he gambles with the 5% left to altcoins. For me he is even very lenient allocating 5% to altcoins, I'll rather go lesser than 5% because altcoins are absolutely shits which are manipulated to enriches only the developers of the coins at every pump and dump. Most people's interest in Bitcoin is not only in its value, but in the amount of Bitcoin supply that cannot be increased by any entity so that it becomes more attractive to have because it is very different from any fiat money that can always be printed at will by certain parties. I also don't want to call Bitcoin with other words because Bitcoin is still Bitcoin without any word that can be the same as it so we don't need to find a substitute word to describe Bitcoin because we can directly use the word Bitcoin. How do you mean? Bitcoin being a project does not imply bitcoin as a currency. I only referred to bitcoin accumulation as a project. A person makes his fiat money in wishes to invest, he may choose to invest in real estate, construction works and many more areas of investment. All these I've mentioned, I'm sure you would agree with me that the process of achieving any of either building, real estate or construction works can also be seen as projects.

A person can also make his fiat money and decide to diversify buy investing in bitcoin. He sets a target of what he would like his bitcoin stash to look like in a longer term or given period of time. That stage of accumulation is what I referred to as a project. You run a project with money same way you build up your bitcoin with money. I don't think it's completely wrong to refer a bitcoin accumulation stage as a project.

Well I have been a victim of shitcoins in past years, but hearing about bitcoin and getting little basic knowledge about what Bitcoin is all about I don’t think I should have any reason whatsoever to invest in shitcoin or altcoin like you call it, shitcoins have never been a good sense of reality for someone who wants to invest and continue to accumulate bitcoin, shitcoins would never be worth it no matter how little of a percentage you decide to put in to it, I really don’t think it’s necessary to have this experience you’re talking about because it’s quite never good and it could ruins someone’s portfolio.

Even if you realize that you were more wrong than you should have been in chasing shitcoins, you are still far from success and you still regret not investing in bitcoin at the right time. Shitcoins will be a bad investment if you are chasing short-term profits. If you can walk slowly along the road to making Bitcoin, it can be satisfying for you in the long run. Yes, I agree with you that shitcoins can give profits but it is not a sustainable profitable investment. The idea behind diversifying is to attempt to have assets that are not correlated to each other, and many of us recognize that shitcoins are dependant upon bitcoin for their performance, which means that they are correlated to bitcoin, even if many of the shitcoin proponents claim that shitcoins are not correlated to bitcoin.. They many times will claim that they are better than bitcoin, yet they are lying in their various talking points including their claims of the non-correlation between bitcoin and shitcoins.

So then anyone who invests into shitcoins for the purpose of diversifying should be asking themselves what are they getting by putting value into shitcoins, since they are correlated, that means that perhaps more volatility and more risk is added onto just investing into bitcoin.. and bitcoin does tend to out perform shitcoins, even though surely there can be short periods of times in which shitcoins will perform better than bitcoin.
