No doubt that people invest because they want to earn, the problem is the execution since if they aim for short term is they might get expose for lots of risk because there are so many inconsistencies and that option is not sustainable.
I agree with you that most Bitcoin investors invested in Bitcoin with the intention of making profit from it, that's why you will see an investor trading his Bitcoin or be expecting to get rich overnight, after a short period of time, which is never the case, but the truth is that not everyone sees or reason that way, because some people invested in Bitcoin just to preserve their money from inflation, since it's an incredible asset that appreciate in value overtime. So you are wrong for you  to come to the conclusion that everyone is investing in Bitcoin because they wan to earn.

You also need to understand that people who put their money in bitcoin to shield against inflation don't have short term goals as well, bitcoin is volatile and in a short term can end up being lower in price then when you bought, the only way to be able to use bitcoin as an anti inflation shield is to go in tleith the mindset of not taking from it anytime soon, you saving goal has to be long term, this way even if the volatility brings the price down in the short term you stand a better chance of not losing money long term, so even if a person is holding because they want to earn or because they want to save/store value it still has to be long term.

Yes, it is needless and pointless for person to be worrying about the price before buying, because the price of Bitcoin cannot even predicted. Person may be waiting because he thinks price will drop, but the price may just go up and that person can start to be hesitate to buy again because of that. So that is why person have to start buying using what they can afforded to loose. And when they are ongoingly buying they should do so without trying to outsmart the market.
People that think they are smarter than the market will want to be time market and this can leave them with zero bitcoin. So person should quit trying to pick a perfect time of entering the market to start buying and just ongoingly buy at any price it is in market.
There's no need to hesitate in anything we do especially when it comes to price issues when we accumulate Bitcoin. I see many people like you feeling afraid or hesitant when they want to buy Bitcoin. If they understand the method they won't think about these concerns. Even if they do experience doubts with this knowledge they will feel more comfortable accumulating Bitcoin whether weekly or monthly. They certainly won't feel anxious when deciding whether to buy Bitcoin.

As long as we have enough money or capital I don't think we need to worry about the right time to buy. No one can accurately predict or predict the market's future. Market cycles always vary whether today or in the next few hours. What I need to say is that if you intend to accumulate Bitcoin it's best to continue without waiting for the right time. If the timing doesn't match your expectations you'll inevitably be disappointed. So there's no need to think about our ingenuity in an attempt to make people think we're the smartest at predicting market conditions.

But I believe majority of those who are investing or accumulating bitcoin and holding are doing it because of the profit they stand the chance of getting from the investment.

That is the truth but that mindset and the expectations is where the reality strikes, although people's mentality on Bitcoin investment differs but the facts has to be noted so that some investors will have  put mindset in an unrealistic goal, profit this, profit all the time, must it always be profit, even those that are just starting their Bitcoin acumulation are talking about profit when the have gotten to anywhere in their acumulation, I do not know why an investor will think that they will hit the jackpot within a short interval  while investing i think these are high expectations that ends with expectations not met, some people are just expecting too much from Bitcoin forgetting that Bitcoin is an investment that is practically without any magic attached if there is even anything like magic anywhere.

How will some even say that everyone is investing in Bitcoin for the purpose that he mentioned, some persons are just making things difficult for themselves, why generalizing things, so he thinks that there are no investors that are storing Bitcoin because of how it can appreciate as time goes by thereby making there portfolio worth more.

Your point is valid not everyone invests in Bitcoin purely for profit. Some see it as a long-term store of value and a way to protect against inflation, not a quick way to get rich. The real issue isn’t the goal, but the expectation. Many investors focus too much on short-term profits, even when they’ve barely started accumulating. That mindset leads to frustration because Bitcoin doesn’t deliver instant results it rewards time, patience, and consistency.

A long-term investor understands that Bitcoin is not magic that growth takes time. Early focus should be on accumulation, not profit So it’s wrong to generalize that everyone is chasing profit, but it’s also important to correct the mindset of expecting fast gains. The smarter approach is simple: build steadily, think long term, and let time increase value.

No matter how you visualize Bitcoin to serve as a hedge against inflation. Many people are into Bitcoin because of the long term profits they are to make. If you remove the profits to make from Bitcoin investment, I don't think many of us in this space will be longing to invest in Bitcoin for long term profits. We would have choose other assets to invest over Bitcoin. If it is lands, gold, shares and many more that could give us little or no returns in the future. But because of the numerous profits Bitcoin brings in a long run, we see it as one of the best investment to make in, for our future
I will accept that the purpose of investment is profit, there are many like you who will think about profit first wherever they invest. Bitcoin investment is not outside this purpose, but for this investment, a long-term approach is most recommended and for long-term purposes, we are encouraged to increase and maintain our Bitcoin reserves over time. But I want to briefly say that you can imagine that in the future or now, this Bitcoin is fighting the most against inflation, that is, the value of your earned money may decrease, but the value of Bitcoin does not decrease, but it increases.

If someone holds Bitcoin for inflation, their goal is to make a profit at the end. The main goal of a Bitcoin holder is to make a profit. If you keep money in fiat currency due to inflation, its value will decrease over time. But since Bitcoin has a limited supply, its value has the potential to increase over time. So if you can hold Bitcoin for a long time, the potential for profit is much higher.

But if someone says that I hold Bitcoin but not for profit then  it is difficult to believe. If someone does not want profit, then there is no need to  holding Bitcoin. Why would a person just waste money where they do not want any profit? For someone, the increase in price is a direct profit, for others it is a matter of financial security, and some use it as a against inflation. But in turn, the main purpose is for that profit.

I don't think everyone that holds Bitcoin is purely based on the fact that they want to make profit atleast not to the extent at which you are sounding it. There are guys who will use Bitcoin as a means to save their wealth or money because of the financial depreciation of the fiat and also the inflation effect that fiat money suffers. These guys can just decide to use a large portion of their money and just buy Bitcoin and keep it saved as Bitcoin inorder to prevent the money from losing its value over time. And you sounding the whole profit making notion would actually lead some person to think that when one invest in Bitcoin there is absolutely guaranteed that he or she will have profits in the long run, there is no certainty for that at a large scale so it's very important too to take note of that so you don't get carried away.

Sure, Originally, Bitcoin wasn't created for profit making. The safety, protection and financial privacy that Bitcoin provides was it's original intent of Satoshi. Having to Hold your money without government pressures and without banks intervention and restrictions, and also avoiding the depreciation that comes with fiat money, Bitcoin have been able to provide all this requirements, and it's held at a high value.

Perhaps, looking at the appreciating power of Bitcoin, it has become inevitable for for investors to overlook the part of profit that Bitcoin gives. So, I think it's just done simultaneously, while you are already keeping your money in Bitcoin, buying and stacking, there is also every possiblity that it grows and gives you more profit even though it wasn't your original intent. Perhaps, plebs can still buy and stack Bitcoin and still share from the potential profit that it brings in a long run if you HODL. Sincerely, Bitcoin has become a store of value that we can't overlook the financial power and leverage it gives if we stack

Yes, that's why we must strive to continually remind beginners who want to invest in Bitcoin of this. Basically, we might already be able to think this way because we already know that trying to outsmart the market is not a good idea when investing in Bitcoin. But beginners are clearly still very naive and don't know whether this is true or not. Therefore,, if anyone asks us this, we must succinctly explain that investing in Bitcoin doesn't need to worry about price.

Bitcoin is a constantly fluctuating asset,, and interest in it is growing every day. Therefore, it's highly likely that Bitcoin will continue to rise in price and reach new highs. Therefore,, we don't need to worry about buying Bitcoin at any price. Basically, regardless of the current price, if we hold it long-term, we will likely still profit. Therefore, control yourself when investing in Bitcoin, and see how simple and uncomplicated it is.

The is no better time to start accumulating bitcoin but now, as long as the investor has discretionary income available, if you wait to get a low entry point before you start as a newbie, then you are doing yourself and your accumulation journey a great disservice, if you have a look at the time wasted before the alleged perfect entry came by, if at all it would, you'll recognize that you would've been better off if you didn't waste those times waiting and just continued with consistently buying and holding bitcoin.

It is difficult to accurately time the market and why would you want to subject yourself to such unnecessary gambling routine where there is a better option with DCA to ongoinly be buying from your comfort level, and building backup funds as well thereby standing a chance of building out a descent portfolio for yourself on the long-run. You cannot be doing the wrong thing and expecting a good result at the end and such a person busy timing the market may end up missing out totally on investing into bitcoin if the targeted price doesn't come by and even if it does, he may continue with the gambling practice and eventually end up a low-coiner even after spending a relatively long time in bitcoin.

Bitcoin ability to combat inflation is not only logical but also proven. In fact when it was first created Bitcoin was often referred to as "the people's money." This is because Bitcoin is a digital currency that can be used by anyone, anytime. However, over time one of Bitcoin advantages has gradually become apparent it is becoming increasingly suitable as a store of value due to inflation.

Besides being a store of value and for sending large amounts of money Bitcoin is also a bank-free system allows for sending large amounts across borders and is not tied to direct identities. Investing in Bitcoin through the DCA method for the long term is indeed the best choice. Don't hesitate to see fluctuating prices, because buying Bitcoin can be done at any time as long as the goal is long term. If implemented as you say, Bitcoin will not only fulfill your dreams of being able to buy this and that but will also give you financial freedom.

Just to correct you in some areas, and investor has the mindset of making profit at the long run, whether you are stacking your Bitcoin for 20 years or more you can't be doing so without believing that your going to increase your wealth because of the profit you must have accumulated since you began holding. If you don't know a long term holder is sure of making profit after holding for at least 10-20 years. Amen yes there is a guarantee for a long term holder do not think you can talk about people who invested blindly and sold at loss without mentioning those who held Bitcoin for up to 10 years and made profit. I want to be carried away by my long term holding because I believe I will be wealthy through Bitcoin if I don't get discouraged.

or in the next few hours.

Sorry to say, but you sound like there is anything like a perfect timing to buy Bitcoin, though I get your points.Surely, there is no perfect timing at all when it comes to become investment because of its volatile nature. It can be up today, and in few days or in the next minute, it's down and maybe down the more. Perhaps, we can't really predict anything. Thus, once a pleb is able to figure out his discretionary income, he should be able to start regardless of the price.

So, anyone who is trying to time the market and/or is trying to wait for an exact amount of Market price before you begin your investment is not ready and/or serious as an investor because he may not start at all. Waiting can be time wasting and procrastination is a kill of tile to keep you away from starting

I don't see why there is any reason to attempt to figure out if the bitcoin price is currently, low, high or some other thing, especially for anyone who is still in their early stages of accumulating bitcoin.  Perhaps if a person had already been accumulating bitcoin for a cycle or two, then the size of his bitcoin stash might inform him whether to continue to ongoingly accumulate bitcoin or if he might start to think about buying on dips rather than buying all of the time.

Currently, bitcoin at about $75.6k is in about a 40% correction level from its October 2025 top of $126k. .. so it seems that bitcoin is already in a dip, even though surely no one can really know if bitcoin prices might be going lower from here.. yet if someone is relatively new to bitcoin, such as within the first cycle or two, then I have a hard time imagining too many circumstances in which they might consider to stop buying (especially for guys who might be DCA buying on a weekly basis or some other reasonable interval), even though surely guys can decide for themselves in regards to the size of their bitcoin stash and if they believe that they have enough, yet.
Your approach to collecting Bitcoin for beginners is very commendable and universally acceptable. Bitcoin investment is like a marathon where it is possible to succeed if we continue to invest patiently and follow the right investment plan (DCA method) for long term investment.

Since the market price of Bitcoin has fallen by 40 percent, many people are scared but history shows that this type of correction is actually a good opportunity for investors to enter again. Since the price of Bitcoin cannot be said for sure whether the price will fall further or not, in my opinion, investing in Bitcoin should be a continuous process that will help us invest at an average price. Another thing is that for long term investment in Bitcoin, time value is much more important than value, so I think it would be wise to save a little at regular intervals instead of buying when the price is falling. Which will help us build large assets in the long run.

I think those who hesitate to invest in Bitcoin, especially in the long term are probably not long term investors even though they consider themselves investors. They will be traders because in a volatile market system, the market price of digital currencies will constantly go up and down. Therefore, long term investors will be successful in investing in Bitcoin in the long term even if the market price is up and down in the short term. Although there is no way to say 100% certainty, history has never disappointed long term investors.

I don't still understand, how a long term investor will hesitate to invest in Bitcoin? A long term investor who is serious and determined to invest in Bitcoin will never hesitate to invest in Bitcoin because they should be able to understand that Bitcoin is not an investment someone should hesitate or rush to invest. And they will make sure to invest with what they can afford to loss which is always from their discretionary income.

The current price of bitcoin shouldn't be a determining factor on whether a person should buy bitcoin or not if they are planning on accumulating and HODLing long term, buying at a low price is the kind of thing that pushes quick profit minded people into bitcoin, they think it's a get rich quick scheme that will make them rich quickly,

Anyone who is looking at the price of Bitcoin, either waiting for it to decline first before they begin there accumulation process is not serious and/or not a real investor. Even considering the volatility of Bitcoin, how possible will you know when it will drop so that you can begin your investment. Such delays or attitude automatically keeps you away from starting and makes you a NO coiner.

It has always been best that we begin our investment regardless of the present price of Bitcoin provided that you have your discretionary income ready with you to begin your investment. Thus, waiting is a total procrastination and a waste of time. Starting is the real deal for a serious minded investor
People who are waiting for the Bitcoin price to decline or fall before they can start accumulating Bitcoin are not ready to start investing in Bitcoin and they are just procrastinating because even if the Bitcoin price decline they will still want it to decline more before they can start their accumulation process which is an indication that if Bitcoin drops to $20,000 they would not even start accumulating Bitcoin. For people who really want to invest in Bitcoin for a long term, there is no need for them to wait for the Bitcoin price to decline before they can start investing in Bitcoin; they can start investing in Bitcoin as soon as they have discretionary income, and if they are consistent with their investments they could be luck to accumulate Bitcoin when the Bitcoin price decline.

This is not true, it is not everyone that is investing in bitcoin because they want to make profit. There are different reasons why people do invest in bitcoin, there are people that investing bitcoin because they want to retain there wealth and bitcoin has proven to be a good store value, bitcoin is decentralised in nature meaning there is third party interference. Bitcoin act as a hedge against inflation. So profit is not the only reasons why people invest in bitcoin.
