Imo the reason most experienced gamblers are different from a novice , is base on the knowledge they possess as a gambler. Because most experience gamblers do make countless losses even when having such , good knowledge on how gambling works. But still most doesn't apply such knowledge in their gambling sections. So we should always put those knowledge in a good use in minimising losses and other related stuff.

That's the more reason why many individuals fail in gambling cause they  do not go into it with better understanding about how it works, a lot of individuals who get carred away by their emotions are those who weird other maybe there neighbors win a certain amount from gambling and then seen that as an opportunity to get wealthy too, such individuals would always fail especially when they know little concerning gambling.

 Apart from gambling, before any individuals would go into anything be it business or whatever they should have proper knowledge about such thing and since gambling is a game of luck, that's enough to gather knowledge about it before trying your luck else you could lose and start chasing loses to recover lost funds and that being said is one of the reasons why many gamblers become addicted.

What you have said so far is nothing but the truth but sometimes the reason why will loss money on betting is not actually because of emotions yes, there are people that even in their excited State they will still win bet.
 I still don't know why someone we have so much confident in him/herself on betting knowing fully well that he/she is not the one that will play the ball inside pitch, though sometimes It leads to huge profit and sometimes it leads to huge loss.

Morever, that is how betting is suppose to be because if we keep making profit don't you think the company will fold. Asking how we can regulate our emotions and how is it important, first emotions is generated base on feeling we have towards a particular thing so to regulate it you will first stop your feelings towards betting and the important is that once you stop, you will start saving money let's say you use to spend 500k a week because you have stopped the feelings you will now be spending like 50-100k and then saving 400k.

Experienced gamblers who manage to work on their gambling activities use that advantages in preventing addiction, they setup the limits and by the experienced they gain around they now that staying with the set limitations allows them not to risk a lot, though there's time that they still overexceed from the set limit but they immidiately cope up and stop.

The answer is yes, that's right, because what differentiates experienced gamblers from novice gamblers is the knowledge factor that each individual has acquired, both experienced gamblers are clear in terms of understanding and knowledge that they have experienced and found around them, whereas for novice gamblers it is about understanding knowledge. and their knowledge is definitely still a layman and has minimal experience with all of this.
And slowly, if we have gained this understanding and knowledge, we as gamblers must apply it as well as possible to avoid major negative impacts in gambling.
