Hoosat Network launched 8.3.2024 14:00 UTC. Hoosat Network (HTN) is an innovative blockchain built from Kaspa. By utilizing the cutting-edge GhostDAG protocol, we aim to tackle one of the most significant challenges in blockchain technology: the trilemma of security, decentralization, and speed without compromising on any of them.

Tokenomics:

The Hoosat Network has a transparent and predictable monetary policy designed to ensure long-term sustainability. Here's a breakdown of the key points:

🔵Total Coin Supply: The maximum supply of Hoosat coins is capped at around 17.1 billion. This finite supply helps control inflation and maintain the value of the coin over time.
🔵Fair Distribution: There was a 360-block pre-mining phase, which equaled 100,224,000 HTN, constituting 0.58% of the potential max supply. From the premine 86m was later burned.
🔵Regular Halving: The block reward for mining new coins will be subsidized every year at -18.35% deflation per year.
🔵Long-Term Sustainability: With a total subsidy cycle of over 65 years, the issuance of new coins will reach zero in 115 years, ensuring a predictable and sustainable long-term supply.
🔵Block Rewards: Assuming a block production rate of 31,536,000 blocks per year, the block rewards will follow a predictable subsidy schedule.
🔵Developer fee: Network wide developer fee to support Hoosat Network.

Actually it's not wrong doing a fork of any systems. The important thing is "how developer build their platform, ecosystem, and promote their project"


Nowadays Building exchange as platform is not effective way especially if you have low budget.

It looks like the launch of Hoosat was fair. We are waiting for the xeggex.

I like the dev Tonto but Cryptonit and JohnCena24 will kill this project. Mocking and banning people is not good and healthy for community. They banned two well known miners who are also part of son of a tech community.

Why they want to kill the project  HTN

I'm not surprised to see criticism of cryptonit on here.

He resorted to sarcasm, name calling and displays of misunderstanding crypto in general on the occasions I had the misfortune of dealing with him - before being banned myself the first time.

I was later banned a second time for "child abuse" for sharing a video of my 2 year old son having a tantrum over a Hoosat related photo.

All in all, cryptonit is totally unsuitable for involvement with any crypto project. I would have a lot more confident in HTN if he was removed from anything to do with the social media (and the project in general).

Other than that, I quite like the project and the developers behind it. A shame one bad apple has caused so much distaste out there.
