while I somewhat agree with you that this fight should never have happened, there's really nothing we can do to stop it. at least, it's an exhibition match, so a lot of rules will be implemented to avoid serious injuries. if you watch the exhibition matches of Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul or Manny Pacquiao vs DK Yoo you'll see how the fighters try to refrain from punching with their full power. while there is still concern about injuries, I don't think it will be serious enough that it will cut someone's life short or affect their health a lot in a negative way. also, I'm pretty sure Mike Tyson knows the risk he is taking.

Money talks and I'm guessing the payday from Netflix was far too good for Tyson to turn down, even with the risks. Also, I'm not 100% sure if this will be a proper fight and more of an exhibition like Tyson's last fight against Roy Jones Jnr where they must have had a no head shot rule as it was basically just body shots only. If it is an exhibition then I hope that doesn't mean it's just a glorified sparring match, which may be the best for Tyson but does anybody really wanna see both of them hugging and dancing around a ring?

That's how important for Tyson not to make this fight to last for many rounds since for sure he might not capable to last for more rounds. Age is huge factor will play crucially on this match up and we know that Paul is so young which can able to last for long round.

That's Paul's advantage so for sure Tysons camp is considering that so they need to get an early finish or they might be in trouble and get defeated by a Youtuber. Then I did not get what is "prolonged beating". I understood from FinneysTrueVision post, that from his point, single a knocking out punch is less harmful, then 20-40 punches on a body or block (not mentioning head, as I doubt someone would still stand if he gets 20-40 jabs from heavyweight). Which is wrong. Even 1 punch to the head is harmful. A punch that knockout is many times dangerous, because brain gets such a damage, that switches off whole body and goes restart. Even doctors dont allow a person who was knocked out to even continue training for many days, while a person after body punches can go to gym and at least do stretching.

He should at least not let Jake Paul beat him and beat him bad in this fight. He has been training very hard as what we have seen in the videos already, so for me I doubt that the fight has been set up from the beginning. It's rigged to have a DRAW. The rules say so and the people know it is an exhibition fight. If the rules say their gloves are as big as the sparring gloves and they need to KO each other to win the fight, that's got to be something we consider a hint.

Your concerns are legitimate, however boxers go through a natural process in which those that cannot take a hit, drop out of the sport as they simply do not have what is necessary to succeed.

Mike has proven he had everything to succeed, so despite his old age his resistance towards that kind of punishment not only should be very high, but I even think it should be even higher than what Jake Paul could endure despite the difference between their ages.
