Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20

He just beat Ryan Bourland recently who looks like not willing to fight and Jake is up again for another.
They should call this a fight but an exhibition but believe it or not is happening. You think Mike is done after Roy Jones but Jake wants to pull him again for he just needs recognition from the boxing community.  

I would be surprised if Mike beats Jake. He is 60.  Would you bet if its on Stake?

Jake Paul is set to fight former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a boxing match that will be livestreamed on Netflix.

The bout is scheduled to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas and will be available to all Netflix subscribers. Additional information, including the co-main event and undercards, will be announced at a later date. It is being produced in a partnership between Netflix and Paul’s and Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).

This will not be the first time Paul and Tyson have appeared on a boxing card together. Paul fought in the co-main event of the pay-per-view that saw Tyson fight an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, which was Tyson’s first boxing match since 2006. Paul defeated former NBA player Nate Robinson via knockout in the second round in what was Paul’s second professional boxing match.

It's been posted on all social media Tyson still attracts a lot of attention, this is an interesting and exciting fight Tyson is still at the peak of his health even though he is already 60 years old but age is always a factor when it comes to boxing, Tyson may be good in the first two rounds but old age will catch with him and the fresh legs of Jake Paul will take over.

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda piqued by this. Tyson is still a beast and can throw even at his age, but his boxing acumen may override Jake's youth and of course his relative inexperience. I think this is 50/50 right now for me. Personally, I would have liked to see Mike fight John Fury but I suspect John is all talk and wouldn't step up for it. Jake should either be going for the Tommy Fury rematch or the KSI fight which is probably the biggest fight for both of them.

This is a kind of match which I don’t dare to touch. Tyson is legend and obviously still can throw a decent punch that can knock Jake hard but Jake youth is a big factor plus he is still good too as an average boxer.

This kind of exhibition match makes you confused if everything is scripted, if there will be a plot twist and so on. It’s a literally a match that has a lot to be considered unlike regular match which you can analyze both fighter by their records. If I will bet on this fight, I will put my money to Tyson since I doubt that he will agree on this fight for just being beaten by some influencer. This is just an exhibition match so I have a hunch that this will be a Tyson match since Jake has nothing to lose on this match.

Being much more agile is useless if there's not enough strength in those punches. Mike Tyson might be old but the hell his current build is that was molded in his entire boxing career. Even if Jake could land a blow, it might not be enough to take down Tyson or even hurt him.

There's a big difference between Cruiserweight and Heavyweight. A huge gap.

However, the difference will only be seen if they will fight seriously.

I absolutely do not like Jake Paul and how him and Logan are not going up the ranks traditionally so I have not supported them by buying any of the PPV events, but I will 100% purchase this 1 and hope that and aged Tyson knocks the snot out of him. Tyson way past his prime and prob alot slower than he used to be, but the guy has some massive power and if he connects a few good hits its goodnight Mr. Paul.

mike tyson is too old to get in the ring again. even if it's just for an exhibition match. if forced to keep getting in the ring it could endanger his life. moreover his opponent is also young. the same with holyfield who got in the ring again almost died and only lasted 1 round when fighting vitor belfort former ufc champion.

I saw the news while scrolling through my instagram. I wasn’t sure if it’s legit or not but since Mike Tyson posted it on his Instagram page, I believe the fight is definitely going to happen. well past his prime, he shouldn’t be in a boxing ring. This fight looks like a money match to me, promoters know the name Mike Tyson will bring heavy attraction and Logan is also popular with the younger fans. All parties involved are just looking to make money. Plus when Jake Paul wins and I know he’s going to, he gets to say he beat the legendary Mike Tyson.

I really wish Mike would give Jake a bloody nose and hopefully two black eyes to match. But then, Mike isn’t a young man in his prime anymore and if I’m being realistic, I honestly don’t see him winning this fight but I think It’s a good chance to make some money alright.
Mike is a legend and would always remain so irrespective of how the fight would turn out. I see Netflix has rights to broadcast the fight live to its subscribers. The money to be made would be quite substantial.

Even though there's no official announcement yet if this fight will be an official fight (which I doubt) or an exhibition, I will skip betting on this match.

First, I'm sure it's an exhibition match and the odds are against Jake. If shit happened, Jake might become a winner.
Second, Exhibition matches are supposed to be for entertainment purposes only - no strings attached.

I can't see how it will be possible for that match to become official where they are in different weight divisions.

But if I remember it right, exhibition matches aren't usually listed in most bookies, right?

Can you believe this? Tyson will have an exhibition match against Jake Paul and yes age will matter here.
Obviously, Jake will have the advantage here but considering Tyson, he still attracts the interest of many and for sure this will be a sold-out match. Jake Paul will not let Tyson to stay longer for sure or maybe this will depend on their agreement, let’s see if this will push through and see if the odds will be good.

Mike Tyson been looking for this exact kind of opportunity to prove himself that he still has some boxing in him. I have seen some videos of him training since awaiting the next opportunity he will have to fight, so I still consider him to come out this fight the winner because when preparation meets opportunity, there is usually a very good result. Tyson may be old, but he will be able to knock out Jake Paul in the boxing ring. He has preparation and experience on his side.

Tyson is still good but he is already 60 years old and Jake Paul can use his youth to tire Tyson, this is a very interesting match, Tyson's last fight was against Roy Jones Jr. and he was so good at that fight but that was three years ago, there's a lot of changes in your body as you're agreeing so I don't think Tyson can do much like what he did on the Roy Jones Jr. fight.

Oh and that's why I was surprised to see a lot of Mike Tyson's video and people are commenting that he can still fight.
And with that it's because of this news that he has a upcoming fight against Jake Paul. I like it though, we all know that it's all for the money but Mike Tyson even as this age can seriously hurt anyone in the ring as he still has that power.

Obviously Tyson is still a huge draw, so I'm not surprised that this fight could be one of the biggest boxing fight for this year in terms of money generated.

I think this is really happening, I saw already a promotional video, Paul getting out of the helicopter and then Tyson waiting and nodding his head as it to tell to Paul that he is ready for a fight. And in the end, it says live on Netflix, so obviously they have put a lot of money here to make this fight.

Doesn't matter how old Mike Tyson is, still one of the most scariest dude even today, with his tattoos and that smirk smile. For sure Jake Paul knows what he is going here and if Tyson wanted to shut Paul's mouth for good, he is more capable to do that. But I don't think that Mike will go full 100% here, this is just an exhibition .

I do not find this match that interesting, is Mike Tyson still fit to fight?  With his age and health condition, this looks like a one-sided match and might pose a great danger to the old former Heavyweight champion.  As far as I know, Mike Tyson was reported to suffer an illness last year.  The illness is called sciatica

Tyson suffers from a nerve condition called sciatica, which leads to immense pain in the lower back and legs. The condition got so worse for Tyson that he had to use a wheelchair and stick in order to walk. However, the 57-year-old has been open about his struggles with his nerve condition. He had admitted that when his condition flares up, he finds it difficult to talk.

I think this is just a stunt to earn money, oh well it is not a surprise if we are talking about Jake Paul and his exploits.  But regardless I hope that one punch knock out of Mike Tyson work this time.  I really wanted to see Jake Paul knocked out cold.

Mike Tyson's career had been done many years ago when he failed to beat Holyfield...  This fight isn't about reputation but rather a way to bag huge money.  Mike Tyson had proven himself already and his reputation lingers even after his career is said to be done.
