I contacted Atomic Wallet support, and all they did was give me a generic response, which didn't address the issue of why I have a zero balance. What can I do? Tried quoting your post with the proper codes for image insertion but, seems your image code is wrong. You should have get the BBCode rather than just any option you were given on the image hosting site and be sure not to program the images to self destruct in few hours. Am not all that familiar with Atomic wallet since I don’t use it although, it’s like an all purpose wallet that gives you access to your coins on the blockchain. Should you download the wallet from the right source and you know what you were doing, the wallet should have worked just fine. Maybe you should explain yourself in clear terms with pictures to support, not images that comes up with proxy image error. Perhaps someone who uses the wallet might aid you.

By the way, Atomic Wallet has a forum on Reddit. Several members have told me that my balance is hidden and I need to follow the steps on: https://decentralized-base-protocol.vercel.appThey claim this will fix the issue. However, it requires me to insert my 12-word key phrase, so I didn't. While you're looking for help, you should be very careful where you seek for help and the advice you take because not everyone genuinely wants to help you, some persons are scammers and their intentions are to steal your funds. Don't import your seed phrase on the website that was shared to you on Reddit. Also, Make sure you're chatting with atomic wallet representative only through their official channel.

After I type your address MANUALLY (make it a habit to always paste the address if you experience technical problems or confused so other people can easily help you), I try to analyze it on-chain. The first thing you need to know is that your Cosmos (ATOM) has moved since March 7 to cosmos1r55s6588aumde3rcgucd6kan3cyaqwj5m3u5my. This address isn't an address for delegation purposes because it doesn't have the "delegate" tag, so it's truly an individual address. And you no longer need to ask Atomic Wallet support about what happened to you, because your "undelegate" was actually successful 23 days ago (February 15). So, if you don't think cosmos1r55s6588aumde3rcgucd6kan3cyaqwj5m3u5my is your address, it means your wallet has been hacked and all your money has been stolen.

You're not alone, there are many people out there who feel like they don't share their secret phrases with anyone, but their crypto assets just disappear. Where do you keep your secret phrases? is it in online media? Is there any way I can find out who owns this address? cosmos1r55s6588aumde3rcgucd6kan3cyaqwj5m3u5my
No, you can't find out who the owner of that address is, what you can do is look for that address on social media platforms, who knows, maybe someone has put that address on their social media profile, it's very unlikely that you'll find out who owns it. I typed the address into Blockchair.com and this is the reply: Oops! We couldn`t find “cosmos1r55s6588aumde3rcgucd6kan3cyaqwj5m3u5my” among the information stored on blockchains. Blockchair doesn't support Cosmos (ATOM) blockchain and doesn't have an explorer feature for that blockchain. Use Mintscan.

I live alone, and no one has been using my PC. There was an Atomic Walled Support person who helped me create a Cosmostation wallet to transfer my funds, but I never told that person my secret phrase. I did google that address but nothing came up. Can someone hack into your account and steal your funds without your secret phrase?

Just Google the phrase "Dangerous vulnerability discovered in Windows Notepad." And although this was a long time ago, trusting an application on your computer to save your password is very frivolous. How experienced are you in internet security? The Windows system itself is unreliable, even in the hands of good specialists. But if you use your computer for different purposes, installing all kinds of applications, and also actively surfing the Internet, it’s quite easy to catch a virus that could check all your documents. I cannot conclude that you have been hacked, but if you imagine that you have Remote Desktop Protocol on your computer, then this is quite likely.

You should stop making full quotes in your replies as this is in the majority of cases completely unnecessary, annoying and not appreciated in this forum. I use the Notepad app on my PC to store my secret phrase. I live alone, and no one has been using my PC.
So you store your mnemonic recovery words in digital form on a very likely always online Windows computer which you very likely use for all your daily computer and internet stuff. That's a very very bad thing and not a recommended procedure to safeguard your recovery words. As you're thus very likely no security expert, you can't be confident that your computer isn't compromised. Your recovery words could've been exfiltrated from your device. You can't know it didn't happen. Mnemonic recovery words should only be stored offline on physical media like paper and/or stamped in metal for water and fire resistance. No online hacker can steal a physical offline copy on paper/metal. There was an Atomic Walled Support person who helped me create a Cosmostation wallet to transfer my funds, but I never told that person my secret phrase.
You don't go into details here, but let's assume the support person's help didn't fool you and your Cosmostation wallet was safe. I can't say much to this as I've never used such a wallet. I don't trust Atomic Wallet and the people behind it. Edit: I never used Cosmostation wallet to be precise. I used Atomic Wallet for a short period in the past to gather fork coins of my older bitcoins to exchange them into the real stuff. I didn't want to trust the Electrum wallet versions of those fork coins (shitcoins for me) for any longer than needed to claim the fork coins. As Atomic Wallet is closed-source I didn't feel very well to use it at all, but there wasn't too much value at stake, so it was convenient for me at least and I took the risk.

I used it to hold small cash in my smartphone, but I recently started experiencing connectivity issues, and this, linked to the news and opinions shared in this forum by other members with better understanding on the subject than me made me uninstall it in the end, even when I had practically no funds in it.

I searched "How Are Computers Hacked?" and found many methods. Visiting suspicious websites can infect and steal data. And I did do a lot of that.
I contacted Atomic Wallet Support to address some issues, but their lack of response prompted me to seek help in their support groups on Reddit, Discord, and Telegram—or, rather, what I thought were support groups.
The Moderators of these support groups suggested that I visit specific websites that they claimed could help me solve my issues. However, when I visited those websites, they asked for my wallet phrase. This raised my suspicion, and I conducted a Google search, where I found that those websites had questionable credibility.
Could the website infect my computer with malware and steal my information even if I used a VPN?

A VPN just hides your own IP address while it normally to my knowledge doesn't filter any content of pages you visit like a firewall or malware content filter would. There may be fancy VPNs that do more than a "normal" VPN would do. I wouldn't expect from a VPN to protect me from malware. The purpose of a VPN is is to mask your origin.
There are more ways to steal and exfiltrate data. Take browser extensions e.g. that sometimes ask for quite extensive permissions that many users grant without thinking. They do some helpful things most of the time for free[1] for what a user installed them, but could also silently scan your computer for valuable data. And you stored your wallet recovery words unencrypted on your computer...
[1] Rarely there's something for free on the internet, you pay with your usage/personal data or worse...

As a newcomer to Crypto, I saved my Cosmostation Wallet phrase in a Notepad. Unfortunately, someone hacked into my PC by me visiting a suspicious website. I lost all of my ATOMs.
But what I don't understand, I also had my Bank of America and Charles Schwab account passwords saved on the same Notepad. I changed my passwords, wrote them down on paper, and deleted the digital copy.
But why didn't they hack my Bank of America and Charles Schwab accounts? I have a lot more money in these accounts.

The hack didn't come from the website. According to you, you'd already lost your funds and it was when you started seeking for help that you were directed to the website which requested for your seed phrase which you didn't disclosed. You'd your seed phrase stored on your Internet connected PC and I think that's how it was compromised and your funds was stolen. The hacker got hold of your seed phrase through the help of a malware, imported it into a wallet, look through your transactions on the blockchain and unstaked your ATOM.

The only people I can contact are the Atomic Wallet Support team, but they have not addressed the issue of my funds not appearing in my account. The Transaction History is blank, showing that no funds have been transferred out. It's as if they outright stole my money and that's why they are not responding to my issue.
Try checking Telegram groups or groups with lots of users, then explain what problem you are experiencing, usually someone will respond with the same problem and maybe it could be a way to solve this problem. But is this the first transaction on Atomic wallet, or have you made other transactions before? Because the indication of being Drained could possibly occur due to some negligence.

What hard evidence do you actually have for what you state here? It looks like you lost your ATOMs but as I'm not familiar with the staking, unbonding and whatnot of your ATOMs, are you sure you understand the whole process? What concrete evidence do you have that your PC was actually hacked? There are many ways to loose coins/tokens. Maybe you missed to reveal some details like someone persuaded you to a remote assistance session with Anydesk or something else. But what I don't understand, I also had my Bank of America and Charles Schwab account passwords saved on the same Notepad. I changed my passwords, wrote them down on paper, and deleted the digital copy.

That's a good question. It makes your assumption someone unauthorized gained access to your Notepad file less likely and probable. Do not store valuable login details pointing to money or wallet recovery data unencrypted on a daily use online computer, especially if this computer runs Windows OS (number one malware and hacking target).

First thing I had to do was followed the same steps, haha. Since I am a normal thinking being I used google and found this thread. Once I read "have to enter the 12 word phrase" I knew what's up. It's amazing how many bxxches hang out at reddit just waiting.

Well, it is easy to hack the crypto wallets and spend them without being getting caught as compared to hack a bank account and getting money from it. That is the reason the person who hacked into your computer was only interested in your crypto wallets. In future if you needed to save your passwords/passphrases in notepad, better save them offline on piece of paper and not digitally on your computer. Also in the OP post you mentioned to use Atomic Wallet. Keep in mind that this wallet is not safe and if you search online you will find many scam accusations against this wallet, so better avoid this wallet also. Sadly, your ATOMs are gone, and I don't think you are getting them back.
There are many ways you can improve your online security:
- Don't store sensitive data online. - Don't trust anyone online who is trying to help you or make you rich. - Don't visit unknown websites, give permissions you don't understand to software, or click on links from anyone. - Stay away from wallets with a bad history like the Atomic Wallet.

I told the Moderator at Atomic Wallet Discord that I won't give him my wallet phrase. I told him Atomic Wallet Support said, ""Important: Never share your backup and private keys with anyone, even us. " So the Moderator told me to go to https://www.walletsupportconnectlive.com/and put my wallet phrase in that. I searched https://www.walletsupportconnectlive.com/ on Google and found it to be a doubtful and potentially fraudulent website. I informed the moderator, who replied: "Its showing that because its our support connect page and thats it you have no funds in your wallet, so what will you be scared?" This is a scam website and it's either not a real mod or their discord server is a scam discord server.
