While I've been a loyal TrustWallet user, recent events have prompted me to diversify my crypto storage. I'm trying out SafePal on iOS for additional security. Hardware wallets have also piqued my interest, and I plan to research and invest in one soon using some of my uptrend gains. There's no denying the convenience of mobile crypto wallets, but it's a trade-off for the enhanced security hardware wallets offer.
I would like to know your views on crypto wallets:
  • Are you using TrustWallet? Will you continue to trust TrustWallet?
  • Are you using other crypto wallet apps?
  • Is a hardware wallet really necessary for your crypto investment?

1- I used the Trust wallet for some small transactions in the past and I couldn't trust it because I generally don't trust any closed source wallet. The wallet is owned by Binance and no one knows what powers Binance can give itself.
2- Of course, I use other open source wallets whose reliability is proven. It is true that not all of my currencies are in one multi-currency wallet, but I feel more secure and more private.
3- This is the most important question because its answer replaces the first two questions. There is nothing better than a hardware wallet for crypto users, especially investors, and for cold storage. It is good that Hardware wallets are multi-currency and support more than one network, so all currencies can be saved on them. It is the most secure wallet and easy to use.

until now I still use trust wallet. either in the form of wallet products or coins. because trust wallet users of wallet services are very large, users or those who buy coins are very large. with this I still believe in trust wallet. and until now I still use a wallet from trust wallet.

Until now, the Trust Wallet application is still installed on my cellphone. Apart from that, there is also myetherwallet there. and there are still a lot of shitcoins that are worthless and maybe if you just give them away you will lose out on gas fees.
So basically, I still use it, but only for small transactions.

I think it's not a bad wallet for using it to do some dApp transaction as it's supported by many sites that allows us to do decentralized transaction. It's a closed source wallet therefore we can't trust it a 100% but if you're looking for a wallet that you can use to carry out some small transactions then trust wallet can be used. They still have a perfect reputation as they haven't done anything that makes us not to trust them but just as they're a closed source wallet that's the reason they're not the best.

I think as a cryptocurrency investor, you don't have to have only one wallet and your coins shouldn't be in one wallet. You should have multiple wallets for different purposes as if one get compromised, your coins in your other wallets won't be affected as you can't be a 100% sure that you can protect yourself from hackers. We can make a mistake and expose our wallets to hackers so multiple wallet is good.

There is a great ease that has been on the table using trust wallets. They have made transactions so easy that their usage will Increase day by day no matter what the side effects are. Actually transactions ease and low transaction fees are two basic keys to ease the process Of transaction and trust wallets have made these both things easy and affordable.

Now the other point you mentioned is also very important that's the security of these Wallets and there have been some incidences where people have lost some asset's but thats mostly due to the incorrect usage of their phone thats mostly not the apps issue.so we should be careful in terms of our phone usage.

I also use trust wallet by installing it on my mobile phone, transactions are much easier. Much more helpful for small transactions and lower fees. If you are looking for a wallet other than Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets then Trust Wallet is considered a platform. Trust Wallet is designed in such a way that users can easily buy, sell and store cryptocurrencies for long periods of time, and its interface is not difficult to understand.

1. Not usually, but I do have it. When it comes to trust, I wouldn't mind having a couple of hundred dollars lying around in it, but when it comes to larger amounts, I would not store them in a wallet that doesn't allow me to have my private keys and everything.

2. I sometimes use MetaMask, but I don't always keep funds in it for security concerns as I have heard a lot of stories of people getting their wallets compromised or hacked.

3. Yes if the amount is significant. You don't need to buy a hardware wallet to store $100 or even $1k or $2k, but if you have invested a lot of money, you shouldn't keep them in a closed-source wallet.

I've been using Trust Wallet for a long time and will continue to use it, but usually I use two mobile wallets, the other is Metamask, there's nothing else I use other than those two. and during that time I have never experienced anything strange in my use, so I continue to use it

There's nothing wrong with the use of trust wallet as long as you understand the components its made up of, this is a wallet that is close source wallet and aside this, every other thing concerning trust wallet is to be trusted because its a non custodial wallet, you can as well see that the wallet supported a varieties of cryptos, only that scammers often set some target in using this wallet to attack others who are not conscious on what is going on.

I am an old trust wallet user and especially for crypto transactions i used this wallet without any problem. Moreover trust wallet is still popular in crypto market as any new investor can use trust wallet very easily. But if you want to consider the best wallet then the most secure is the hardware wallet. From this hardware wallet you will get a detailed security where you can deposit a lot of money. However you should always choose a safe wallet and use it.

What do you mean by the best long-term investments in the market? The point is don't keep assets in the stock exchange it's not safe maybe you should understand that however we don't have full control.

Then you say System, system, system is difficult to understand.... Roll Eyes
The problem of prices going up and down is common in the crypto market there are techniques where you can do technical analysis to help.
One more thing about profits we already have our own targets if you sell now it doesn't matter if it's profitable, now the most important thing is that you have a hardware wallet so that your assets are safe.

I have used it before and even Binance have acquired the ownership of the wallet, there are still a lot of users about it. I think what I am seeing with most of those people that are into alts are using various wallets like right now whichever is on the hype and has a lot of airdrops for its users like Jupiter which is also part of Trust wallet so I think that many are still trusting it. I don't know what's with the news for people to stop using and trusting it.

I also use trust wallet by installing it on my mobile phone, transactions are much easier. Much more helpful for small transactions and lower fees. If you are looking for a wallet other than Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets then Trust Wallet is considered a platform. Trust Wallet is designed in such a way that users can easily buy, sell and store cryptocurrencies for long periods of time, and its interface is not difficult to understand.
right, trust wallet is very handy wallet with comparing others mobile wallets, still i didn't find another one which is very mobile user friendly and very easy features to understand everyone, and in this wallet fees is very low and very easy to make transaction, for such reason it's quite popular mobile wallet. i have been using it for long time.

Are you using TrustWallet? Will you continue to trust TrustWallet?

Yes I am using trust wallet, and will continue to use it if only I need it. I m not in full trust to "TrustWallet" because of close source, so genius people can not contribute or watch their code to find a logical problems. So far I only use trustwallet for transactions.

Are you using other crypto wallet apps?
Yes, I use it to store some assets. I never store asset in same wallet address, I split into several accounts.

Actually most of the time I am using exchange wallet because I want to enjoy the best time for investment. But you should know that the best wallet will help your money last longer where you will be 100% safe. Meanwhile trust wallet is popular due to which many people are using it now. Almost all wallets will be best for you if you can keep your wallet information strictly confidential. But you should know that exchange wallet will not be best for long time holding.

  • Are you using TrustWallet? Will you continue to trust TrustWallet?
To be honest, I still use trust wallet but not as a permanent wallet, I only use it for some stupid Altcoins that I don't want to really hold. and for test purposes.

But I don't trust Trust wallet is a closed source wallet, which means it certainly has a back door which is only known but the owners and develop. Trust wallet is never an option for storing any of your valued crypto assets. There are some good open source wallet for storing you crypto asset.

  • Are you using other crypto wallet apps?
Yes for sure I'm using a closed source wallet, electrum is fkr my Bitcoin assets but in an air gapped device while I use Blue wallet sometimes for temporary storage, for every other altcoin I use metamask.

  • Is a hardware wallet really necessary for your crypto investment?
Hardware wallets are important but it's optional, I mean you can decide not to use it for real but if you wish then you should try Trazor.

Since using trustwallet when giving their TWT coins airdrop I don't get any problem yet with this wallet and keep secure when holding cryptocurrency assets, I don't know with some respond reason don't trust with trustwallet for saving their cryptocurrency assets because more than several years use this wallet platform I don't get losses my coins.
I think much problem face with drain wallet is not fault of trustwallet as place for saving your cryptocurrency assets but some dapp connection or approval make your assets loss, its not only happen with trustwallet but all platform wallet when connecting with scam site your cryptocurrency assets will loss and the hacker make bot with your wallet when receiving coins automatically sending to the hacker address.

I have also been using TrustWallet without any problems. As I mentioned, the problem only occurs with users who created accounts in 2018 and TrustWallet has also warned them to transfer their crypto assets to new accounts. This just makes me a little worried about the existence of some undetected bug in the app we are using.

I rarely use Dapps except when I want to swap tokens on Pancake or 1inch. If a user is actively participating in DeFi, I think they should create an additional account to interact with the smart contract of the new project. The main account will only be responsible for storing the majority of crypto assets and will always be secure.
