There isn't a specific period to purchasing Bitcoin, however for long term investors, it's most appropriate you buy during the bearish period so you can accumulate as much as you can afford because the price might be low using the DCA Method and you should be patient enough to hold.

However I think the best method for short term investors who are financially stable, should be lump-sum method, because since they are not holding for too long, once they hit a certain profit margin during the bullish period, they should just take their profit.

the price correction is to be expected, the only one that complaints are only the one that got fomo'd into buying at peak, where are they when bitcoin was still below all time high.
there are so many people here saying anytime before all time high is a good buying opportunity but many people just choose to ignore it.
only when bitcoin is rising so fast like as you said that it surpassed all time high they get fomo'd and buying, i think that on its own is already breaking basicl rule of thumb of trading which is buying low sell high.
I mean if anyone missed the opportunity then they missed, no need to compensate by buying at peak again its gonna do no good.
but yeah as you said anyone that has DCA accumulating that bitcoin are definitely having good days, even after the price correction these people are still in profit.

No one says that but it's common sense to understand that the lower you buy, the better it is for you because buying lower means having more profit when it goes higher. I agree that someone who learns about Bitcoin shouldn't wait for a specific time to make an entry but it will be wise for them to at least do some research to find out whether the price is going to go up or down because Bitcoin moves in a cycle as we know.

Short-term traders can profit from price fall too if they open a short position. Also, it's often the short-term traders who are causing these crashes by taking profits, so you can't really say that they get sad. They only get sad when the price is stagnant

every bitcoin price point is an opportunity, there is no price that is more expensive or cheaper for bitcoin. if there is a chance for you to buy it now, then now is the right time to buy. you don't need to think too much that the price will be too expensive for now, because at any time the price of bitcoin will increase and just hold the bitcoin in your wallet for the next few years, you will definitely be able to make a profit from it.

the key is to remain patient and keep holding onto your bitcoin until your goals for it are achieved and you make a profit from it.
