Hello users, I was registered today and I don't seem to find my way around the forum because everything is confusing to me, I see a lot of boards for many countries, should I stick to my national board alone? this place is also like an organization right? And in every organization there are rules, do's and don't's guiding the organization right? I have a lot of questions and I don't want to stress everyone with my many questions hence the reason why I am asking for  links to useful threads. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum mate, I suggest you stick to your local board and do more of reading, in every board there are pinned thread at the top, I believe you will get your answers in those pinned threads. You can choose to stay in your local for discussions that you're familiar with in your language. But you seem to have an understandable English and I can say that you're better than me so should you join other boards for discussions, don't get scared as long as you don't get off topic.

That’s how it should be at first, a new user is supposed to find it difficult here, the whole forum layout and arrangement should be a new thing to you so it is supposed to take a little time to get familiar with it so don’t make a fuss out of it it’s quite normal and with time you will get used to the forum.

The forum is a discussion place where people share ideas about understanding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and it is a place where one can easily get educated about bitcoin, it is not an organization or an office as you might see it but of course it surely has its own rules and regulations to help keep things in order. I can see some members sharing you some useful links already, you should check them out they would be really helpful.

I don’t know your purpose of being here but if you are new to cryptocurrency and want to learn about bitcoin learnmeabitcoin is a place you can start from as a newbie.

Exactly, that’s the right approach that is expected from a serious newbie that has a goal target to meet in the forum. Understanding the forum layout, pattern and mode of arrangement and how the discussions is going on is very important, and also the rules and regulations of the forum to avoid violating any of them.

You are welcome, Op. I can really see the seriousness in you by starting to approach like this. Now I can see that my followers and other members have provided you with different links. I think my own is not necessary again because it contains the same information, but my advice for you is to go through those links one after the other and that I will really a great help to you. Welcome to this fantastic forum Mate, I understand your statement mate. Always feel free to concentrate on what brought here. What you are talking about everyone here has passed through it, and that's how every newbie finds this forum so difficult for the first time, but one thing is certain: you will never regret joining this forum, since you cannot know you continue to be in this condition because it is not permanent  is temporary. You can only be on it for a short time.

What you request for here, is some links and guidelines and I can see many of the users have provided you with so many links, which, if you take your time and go through those links, it will make your journey very easy. Everything now is a gradual process, just endure with little time, they can also count you as a high-ranking members. And again we've different types of boards here, which if you try to visit them and read the paste thread, it can be really helpful, which will definitely lead you to become an expert.

Among those localities you knows your country so you can stick onto your country don't try to involve yourself with other country you can't speak or write where you would want to communicate using translator, the forum doesn't allow that you can use translator to read text but do not involved yourself with any discussion that is not english or your local language. Again, this section is the right section to remain as a beginner you can read lot of post over here and I know as newbie there are lots of questions you would want to asked just for you to get clarified but I will tell you to find time over here because similar questions has been asked and you just need to thoroughly go through this section to find them out otherwise I don't think there is any need for you to create any additional topic asking question rather than just going straight to those question they have already asked and pick the areas you wanted to asked read them and understand it more better.

Mate should not be worried at all. You can ask questions without any hesitation. A local board or thread is better for you in that it will be in your native language and it will be easy for you to understand, whereas in other sections or boards, you will require English. etc can ask questions. 
 
My personal preference is that I should post outside of the local board or share knowledge on questions because outside of the local board you can find many high-ranking members who have mountains of knowledge. which i think is very beneficial for a newbie it can facilitate the newbie in knowledge collection.

Thank you for sharing the link to the rules and guidelines for the forum, I find the posting etiquettes really interesting, a bit difficult to comprehend but yet educating.
I have also wondered why users have different positions (rank) but now I know how it works.

You got links for forum rules, netiquette and more. Try not to break forum rules, that's probably the first thing to grasp and understand. Rules may be a boring thing, but in such a forum they are a necessity or we'll drain in chaos, spam and worse.

To learn about Bitcoin, I recommend https://learnmeabitcoin.com, it's fun, it's interactive here and there and the creator Greg deserves a coffee or beer for his awesome Bitcoin treasure trove.

A lot of topics have already been covered in various places of this forum. The difficulty lies in finding the right spots, threads and posts. You can search this forum nicely and with good performance at https://ninjastic.space, I prefer this over the forum's in-built search function.

Take your time to get to know this forum better. Read, read, read... we can't read and understand for you, it's that simple.

When you are in rush to learn everything about the forum, you will end up being confused, but just try and navigate through the forum gradually, the more time spent here, the more you will keep on understanding the forum. Definitely when you join the forum newly you will be confused, but with time you will see that the forum is not a difficult place.

You don’t have to stick to only your board, but if you notice that you are learning faster in your local board, then you can be more active there, since it will be easier for you to learn in your local language, but that shouldn’t stop you from posting in other sections, there are things you will learn there, and won’t be in your local board.

There are rules and regulations guiding the forum, so you can just go to different sections to check them out, and make sure you don’t go against any of the rules because you will be punished for that.

I will not advice that you stick to your national board alone because Sticking to just your national board alone won't help you grow.  If you must grow in the forum, then you should spread accross different boards in the forum. For now, you can frequent your local board while you  visit other boards once in a while to read posts and follow up threads. You do not have to be in a hurry to know everything in this forum because you might end up limiting what you can actually learn if you do not take things slowly. Learning never ends, even the legendary members here are not above learning,  they learn new stuffs everyday in the forum. Just be dedicated and committed then you will grow. A lot of members already reply to the rules here in the forum, just make sure to follow that so that you can avoid getting banned here in the forum, The Local Board is actually a good one where you could start here in the forum, all of the post there on native language so you're not gonna have a hard time understand it, plus you could interact with your fellow countrymen on a discussion about cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, etc.

I mostly recommend that newbies to start investing already in cryptocurrency, I mean there is no actual way around it, you are not going to learn it truly unless you're going to actually experience it yourself, you could easily start at a very small amount of investment doing Dollar Cost Averaging so that you could lower the risk of your investment in cryptocurrency, with your journey that is where this forum comes in, there are a lot of experience members here in the forum that could easily help you if you encounter something or wanted to learn something on cryptocurrency you could easily make a thread or topic here in the forum asking and learn about it through the help of the members here.

Also, you dont need to worry about the ranks here in the forum, you're eventually going to rank up for sure as you post a lot you're going to get merits, etc.
