The administration of bitcointalk.

Being a member of the forum for the time past. I tried to ascertain the history of the forum as i doubt the administration of the forum. How come the creator is not active and did  not stay long yet his absence did not imply on the forum. The question is, could he be that he delegated authority and assigned duties to some people before his departure?  Because when I tired to investigate I also discovered that satoshi was not the founder of the forum rather Sirius.

Satoshi Nakamoto remained active in the development of Bitcoin until late 2010, after which he handed over management of the project to Gavin Andresen and disappeared, leaving behind many unresolved questions about his identity and motives

How come the name of Gavin Andersen is not seen anywhere as thus; Cyrus, theymos, Sirius which we are seeing everywhere. Could these people be co-founders? I doubt.

By this findings it is evident that the administrators and moderators running the forum did not even meet the founder in the group

The original forum was on sourceforge.net. It was replaced by a forum on bitcoin.org that I believe was initially set up by satoshi and eventually administered by sirius. That forum with all of its contents was later moved to bitcointalk.org and administration was taken over by theymos. Note that satoshi left before the creation of the bitcointalk forum and so never actually posted here.

Satoshi could be gone,but he's not forgotten...!!
I still try to figure out why bitcoin enjoys this factor called"Anonymity".I think if satoshi was or he's around,he'll have to answer to many calls from mediahouses,journalists and many other talkstream channels.

Satoshi would be too pressured with the critics and crisis that'll eventually commence in the society.
Bitcoin's creator,Satoshi Nakamoto identity and location  remains undiscoverable and untraceable.Although the guy remains an unknown figure,but his ideas and intentions to create/invent bitcoin remains a lasting development in the financial technology.

Bitcointalk is the ideal and absolute guide for most bitcoin users.It's an open source of network for information and educational system.
Bitcointalk is a public forum where blockchain enthusiasts, bitcoin developers,bitcoin users and crypto investors discuss topics about Bitcoin,cryptocurrencies,and blockchain in general.

Note that satoshi left before the creation of the bitcointalk forum and so never actually posted here.

Its never actually been named the "Bitcointalk Forum." There is "Bitcointalk", which references the URL to which the transition occurred from bitcoin.org, and the "Bitcoin Forum," which has always been the name of the forum, both pre- and post-migration.

Nobody is claiming that satoshi posted on "Bitcointalk", but he did post on the "Bitcoin Forum", which is the same name, same layout, same content (minus more recently-added boards), and same forum as this one since 2009.

Saying "satoshi never posted on Bitcointalk" is just a way for the CSW camp to interject confusion unnecessarily, and the entire talking point should be put to rest as it has always been a manufactured and pointless controversy.

Cobra also owns the bitcointalk.org domain name. I consider the forum to be basically owned by or at least dedicated to the Bitcoin community, though; I don't call anyone an owner of the forum.

That's not entirely true. According to the Satoshi-Sirius emails, satoshi was active in Bitcoin development at least until February 2011, although he was no longer active on the forum.

No. Sirius joined this version of the forum on November 20, 2009, but he was active even before that on the sourceforge.net forum.

Because you're yet to know that his mission is already accomplished which is to see that Bitcoin stays and remain in serving for every of it's purpose why he had created it, what the people want is bitcoin and not Satoshi, if you create as many  cars and release them to the people, must you always be around them all before people can buy and use them?.

Yes, at least I know of two admin to this forum, Theymos and Cyrus

Moderators are staffs, they are the same.

You only see difference visually like a forum user displays as moderator and in another thread, you will see as staff. The difference is in a board the user is assigned as a moderator, it will be displayed as moderator. In other boards, the user is not a moderator and will be displayed as staff.

About positions, you must add: Global moderators who can moderate all boards, globally in the forum.

In handling reports, flow is moderators (local moderators) delete posts, threads. They have to submit reports with details to global moderators to ban, unban users. Admins have highest moderation power in the forum.

Satoshi's main creation was Bitcoin not this forum. He created the forum on source forge only to share updates about the Bitcoin and it's initial features. Satoshi never invested most of his time on this forum and that's why he created less then 600 posts overall. Your information about Sirius is also not correct. He's not anonymous like Satoshi Nakamoto, you can even see his profile on Twitter now X. He has done enough for Bitcoin and for this forum and now he's doing other things. it's his life and it's his own choice.

Theymos and Cyrus are the current admins of the forum, and they are doing their job in the best way possible. As far as I know, Cyrus is daily active on this forum, and he's the one who moves wrong posts from one board to other. If they haven't meet Satoshi then what's wrong with that? Not only them but nobody has ever meet Satoshi Nakamoto in real and that's why he's still anonymous till this day. You should just relax and stop thinking too much. The forum is in hands of good people who know what they are doing, and we as members of the forum are satisfied from the decisions of the admins of the forum.
