When we make a bet and put our money on the line, we may lose money, time, and even some daily tasks that we neglect, and the first goal remains to make a quick profit with the largest possible amount of money, but I do not know why some people consider bets to be more  for fun  and a way to spend time than to win money.

Personally, I would consider it fun when my budget is much greater than my losses or when I gamble with someone else's money, and this is something I would not do if I had no benefit in it.

OP, one thing that you don't understand is that losing the money is not the fun, but the fun is that you enjoyed the game. You should not gamble on any game that you don't have any idea on, so that when playing the game, you can enjoy it. It is just like you playing card with your friends, don't you enjoy the fun in it. Losing money is never been fun and this is why on the time that you would really be dealing up with gambling or even on investment then you should really be prepared or be aware that losing money could really be possibly to happen along the way and this is why it would really be that important that you should really be at least wary of the things about those possibilities so that you wont really be expecting too much.
Gambling isnt really actually a solution when you do need money, always realize and tell to yourself that its for leisure and entertainment.

Anyone that do not have fun while gambling should better stop gambling. Gambling is not a means of looking for money which many gamblers that are just newbies just want but fail.

Of course, it's a bummer when we lose but I think of it as a part of the process. I have never expected, I will always win to begin with -- it's gambling, after all. In addition, I only gamble within my monthly budget so no crying and financial dent when on a losing streak lol.

If you are too afraid to gamble with your personal money, then gambling is never for you. The best you can do is place a bet with a very small amount you can afford and get the most fun out of it. It's when you see gambling as a means to earn money and decide to go in with a large amount, which you end up losing to the game, that you will feel the pain of the loss.

There's actually no fun in losing our money mate.dint get the term fun in gambling confused as it's just a way to tell you to enjoy your game and play without being emotional. Having losing money sometimes, creates so many taughts in our mind but I sometimes wonder why I just want to try again. I won't call it addiction that because I know fully when I should stop and retrace my step.
This is what most gamblers don't know about. When you keep losing and then continue playing, trying to get back what you had lost, you end up losing even more than expected. That's not fun at all.  And you saying that it would be fun, using other peoples money to gamble for fun would only give you even more trouble as you are supposed to only gambling with what you can afford to loss. If you consider gambling as a place to make money, of course, you will not feel pleasure at any time when you lose, that is the main certainty when you are looking for profits based on multiplying your money in gambling.

It depends on the motive of gambling, there's fun when you gamble responsibly, and gamble for relaxation and not as an occupation.  Personally, I gamble after the day's workload to distract myself from the worries and concerns of the workplace, which sometimes follow us home and consumes the rest of our day.

When my brain is congested, I gamble to decongest it. It really aids me in easing off the stress by focusing on something else entirely new and tactical without being responsible for the outcome, thereby distracting my brain from the loads it bore previously. After a while, or at the exhaustion of my budget for the day, I end my session and go do other things with a more relaxed mind.  That's the fun in it, it helps relax the mind, develops the brain tactically, and gives you more joy if you manage to secure wins
