I think what you said is a good form of enjoying gambling. The results are not under our control, hence we all have to wait for them, while we enjoy the game or sport. Although, watching a game we staked money on, makes me uncomfortable, especially on my favorite team. So, I prefer slot, it gives me a nice feeling even when my funds are gone, that I'd win some time. The pressure on sports only makes me not forget that I've made some predictions on the game. Actually I love sports especially football, however when we talk about excitement and motivation in terms gambling i would say wining bet and fun are very essential because those two are very strong element because they are intertwine, although is actually based on individual because like I already mentioned on most of my post there are so many people with different motives and desire why they like gambling and some would say they are here for the wining while some would say they are here for the fun, so in other words people should go for the ones that makes them happy.

Yes, that's right, that is the main reason why gamblers are excited every time they run a session, the main reason is because there is a chance of winning that can multiply the money they bring, they think that winning is the end of the gambling session when in fact winning in gambling is nothing more than a "possibility" and also gambling is not only about the chances of winning but there are other aspects that can never be removed in gambling activities, namely the possibility of losing, meaning that anyone can win but losing is also a sure thing.

It’s all fun until money is involved right. On a serious page, gambling is really fun when you remove money from it, making predictions and going the way you expected makes you feel like a magician, it makes you feel like you are captain of a ship. It's fun to play, but not something I would want to do all day or often. And what you do is normal I guess. I don't think anyone gambles without "excitement". Even the loss are fun for some people to be honest. They accept gambling as a form of entertainment rather than thinking that gambling is a source of earning money. And yeah, enjoying it doesn't mean that you are addicted. But if you start to enjoy too much and end up to a point where you can't "live" without this enjoyment, then yes it means you are addicted and you need help. I only gambling sometimes, so I guess to answer your question, it is the fun/excitement that motivates me to gamble?

Although I know I could get the same adrenaline rush from playing other types of games, sometimes the chill atmosphere of playing these games outweigh the intensity of let's say, playing basketball outside or maybe even hopping on a game with your friends to play some competitive CS, Valorant, Fortnite or LoL. What happens when you don't win, or during a penalty shootout in a football match? I get nervous in a football match if an opposing team wins a penalty shoot-out. Those few moments of contemplation whether he scores or not, agitates everyone including myself. But sport gambling isn't my thing, I prefer casino, slot games. But sometimes there are people who gamble with money that they cannot afford to account for, especially if they lose at the end of the session, especially gamblers who come with the intention of earning like gambling addicts who always prioritize winning over the entertainment aspect and I think the majority of gamblers are like that.
