Definitely did not see this one coming. The other additions like "loudmouth" and "shitposter" are hilarious as well. Just wondering if there are any ones for those who read hundreds of pages of threads, maybe bookworm?

I got a notification on the Telegram bot that my account was banned, but after I opened Bitcointalk everything was fine. Is this also part of April fools?

In recent years, it seems that a lot of people have been making low-value posts just to get paid.

Could something similar be happening here? It's unimaginable, but it seemed to me that the signatures on all accounts were a manifestation of altruistic inclinations.

To address this, I've added a merit "cost" to posting: from this point forward, for every 15 characters you post, you will lose one Merit point. This should eliminate any incentive to make low-value posts.

While I am writing this post, I am already losing dozens of merits. Maybe I should delete this post? How does this new system work: merits are returned for deleted posts?

This is exactly what we have all been waiting for. Too many users complained about the current merit system, finally justice has prevailed and adjustments have been made that will make the whining louder not only from low ranks, but also from high ones.

The best joke would be that this new system will remain forever.

It's best for beginners to be more careful when writing your posts on this forum.

Because if you write something wrong then you can get negative Merit. And that means you are in debt. hahaha And you have to pay for it with better writing. If you don't get paid immediately, you have to be prepared for the consequences

Hahahaha,,, can't actually remember today's date but, your title is very funny. I remembered the very April fool I once experienced by this same time last year, when it said this user is a suspected spammer, I was surprised because I have never observed an April fool for before (as of then) on the forum as that was the first. Any way I think this is a nice idea

This should eliminate any incentive to make low-value posts.

Any halfway-decent poster should be able to earn much more merit than they lose due to the penalty. But I recognize that some good posts are occasionally overlooked. So to counterbalance the penalty, I also added a system whereby you will earn a bit of merit just by reading posts. If you want to write a lot, you'd better do some reading as well!

For both the penalty and the bonus, this applies only to your merit score, and does not affect sendable merit (sMerit).

If I want to say that the rate of account is more than the previous years but the number of workers is very less due to which there is no improvement and because of this there are more posts of low value so if anyone promotes it should be considered worthy.

I already saw some outcome of this adjustments, a negative merit (-161 Loudmouth ) is way too much theymos, maybe you can just remove them instead.

I love this.  My challenge will be to zero out my merits. I am working on it.

@Little Mouse time to draw some consequences and kick out these subpar signature campaign participants. philipma1957's trash posts were tolerated for too long and he refuses to take time reading the threads he actually posts in.
