Since you don't want to dive deep but just teach about the basic knowledge of bitcoin, you can follow this https://learnmeabitcoin.com/

wow! This is surely a resource that's just great for most first timer that are probably trying to figure things out as they are just more to this niche and I'm damn keeping it as a companion for reference purpose and I'm surely going through it for the basic knowledge it contained about Bitcoin. It simplicity in conveying and teaching users about the whole frame work of Bitcoin is quite interesting and although I haven't read through the whole site yet, I Believe it will help the OP and is student get the necessary guide on how to learn about Bitcoin investments from the scratch.

Kudos to the author of this great piece.

I have started a learn and earn program for my facebook group members, together with the cooperation of our other group admin and moderator. The purpose of the program is to make sure they are learning the crypto basic (totally bitcoin focused). I'm running out of ideas as we have planned to run the program for long. We are paying around $5-$10 per participants (with maximum cap per activity) in average.
I'm looking for some small ideas like running a full node, using lightning network, signing a message and more. Feel free to share your ideas here.

This section is for beginners who are completely new to Bitcoin and want to learn the basics of how it works and how to get started using it.

Start here:

How Does Bitcoin Work?

Getting started
So you want to get started using bitcoin? Here are the basic steps:

Wallets
A quick guide to bitcoin wallets, and recommendations on which ones to use.
Exchanges
Recommendations on the best exchanges to buy bitcoins from.
Sending
How to send and receive bitcoin using a bitcoin wallet.
Security
How to keep your bitcoins secure.

You can get more ideas from here: https://learnmeabitcoin.com/beginners/

In addition, the process and procedures to trading can be taught, like how to read and understand crypto signals, how to identify whales and follow their strategies for trading an investment, how to accumulate, diversify and the best moments to do so.

It's a huge responsibility to teach others what they can learn to earn from and I know OP's reputation would be on the line if anything good is going to come out of this and am sure more doors will open up in form of ideas to help him scale the heights of this wonderful endeavor.

I think you should make them understand what's the right time for investment. Tell them about the basics of bull run, halving etc so that they can make up their mind regarding the best time to invest.

The other thing you can do is to teach them how to avoid scammers and how to do safe transactions. Tell them about some popular and safe wallet options their fundamentals and the security layer they have so that they can trust crypto platforms. Be practical In short. Also tell them about the air drops as well as the side chains of BTC so that they can understand the scalability and exposure of BTC.

It's a quite interesting topic to discuss!
Yeah If your program is focused only on Bitcoin and you are making newbie learn the basics, I would suggest you focus on the most fundamental things such as setting up a wallet and sending and receiving Bitcoin, you can make them create testnet wallets and send and receive testnet coins for them to understand the concept, and once they do that, you can ask them to use their wallets to make actual Bitcoin transactions either from one wallet to another or from exchange to their wallet and back.

It might also be useful if you ask them to try and use an exchange platform to buy and sell Bitcoin because it is also one of the basic and most important things one needs to know and understand and a lot of newbies mess up when they go for buying or selling their assets. So if they learn the basics of how they can place orders in a market, it would make things easier for them and they will also focus on learning them if you are rewarding them for it.

Explain how to RBF (replace by fee) and when they should use it.

I think that CPFP should also be in the list.

And, as some have also mentioned, cold storage is a must. And it can be done easily with an USB stick and a Tails OS, no need to anything more fancy.

Adding extra words after a seed could be also interesting. Maybe also multi-sig.

And back to things I didn't see suggested: the derivation paths may worth a close look too.
Also people learning how to use a block explorer - for fees, for checking whether a tx has unconfirmed parents and how far, maybe other things too - is a must.
Dust amounts, transaction size and its cost based on size, or coin control are also useful topics.

If $10 is a total earning through a program, they will stop learning when they earn the maximum $10. Later if you add more content, questions for your program, they will not join it again to learn and answer new questions.

Coinbase's Learning Rewards
How to earn crypto rewards?
I guess what O.P is trying say is that $5 to $10 is the maximum amount each participant is likely to earn per each "Learn & Earn" program, of which they are likely to be more new programs where people are likely to earn an average sum of $5 to $10 , if only they can successful answer the questions that will be followed by those learn & earn programs. As most times these questions are always basic Bitcoin/crypto related questions which we all needed to know to help broaden our perspective.
