Please note: due to my limited availability, this service is currently suspended but you can send me a PM and once I'm online again (can take some time), I'll re-open my service for review.

You are having formatting discussions for your BBCode in a Bitcointalk post?
No need to get desparate because for every issue, we will try to find a solution.
I'm launching my topic here where you can ask any questions about tables and BBcode. I'll try to solve your issue by formatting your table here for free.

Yes, I'm offering it for free.

Rules:

- Requests are free currently, I don't charge any money.
- I might reject any request at my sole discretion.
- There's no final date when your problem will be solved as I'm not much available currently.
- To speed up the project, you can also PM me.
- To get help, please post the table you are formatting currently and please point out, where exactly your issue is.
- There's no guarantee, that your problem will be fixed as BBCode is very difficult sometimes.

Nice 1miau.

Have you tried chapgpt for this?
I think it may work out well.

I have used if many times while coding  , and chatgpt can easily do hard work stuff such as reproducing documentation and following strict commands , making the job much easier and faster to accomplish

ChatGPT is quite bad at understanding specialized formatting requests and in particular it knows nothing about the Bitcointalk flavor of BBcode. It's basically a SMF dialect though so YMMV.

It is good if the request is to code something, yes. But I have tried to do formatting conversion on chatgpt before, and unless it's something simple like JSON to YAML or maybe to CSV or something like that, then it's not going to interpret your question properly.

Thank you for this topic and efforts, 1miau! I, for one, know you are a "guru of BBCode tables", since I saw that during time, and you helped me many times with issues on this matter. (Needless to mention, you also created a while ago a very helpful topic -- Some suggestions if you want to use tables on Bitcointalk).

I am coming here to kindly ask you to help me / fillippone with a very curious issue regarding a table (there are 2 tables, in fact, but they both have same problem).

So I translated this topic of fillippone. At the bottom of the thread there are two tables: one at the chapter "Resources" and one at the chapter "Other projects". As you can see, the elements from first column of those tables do not fit on a single line:

The problem is the following: while seeing the preview of the tables in BBCode, they do look correct:

I have same issue in the translation I created.

The BBCode of both tables looks like this:

Code:

Thank you 1 miau for this topic, granting your knowledge on one of the most difficult topic in the Bitcoin Board.
For me the solution is Google Sheet.
I have a series of “templates” to be filled with data and used on the spot (tables with image, link and legend, in one, two or four images version), various templates for my meta posts, etc.

I am coming here to kindly ask you to help me / fillippone with a very curious issue regarding a table (there are 2 tables, in fact, but they both have same problem).

I felt so miserably, and now I have the emotional conflict about finding the solution and been shown how easy the fix it was.
But I am here to learn from the BBC masters!

First, I'm very grateful to receive so much encouragement for my new service. It's soo nice from you.  Smiley

Have you tried chapgpt for this?
I've not tried ChatGPT yet but like NotATether I beleive it's not popular enough to be suffieciently covered by ChatGPT.

I am coming here to kindly ask you to help me / fillippone with a very curious issue regarding a table (there are 2 tables, in fact, but they both have same problem).
Alright, so I'll try my best to get a good solution for your problem.
It's quite weird that again, the fist column is making problems, so I would simply add some ____ to solve your problem.
Adding ___ will look like that:

Alright, so I'll try my best to get a good solution for your problem.

Thank you 1miau, for your very thorough provided solutions. I applied one of them and the tables look perfectly now. I finally announced my translation to fillippone's topic inside his dedicated thread. I hesitated to do it, although the translation was ready for months, because I really wanted first to settle the issue of these tables.

Now, since with your help the problem is gone, I also announced my translation Smiley

Thank you 1miau, for your very thorough provided solutions.
It's a pleasure for me that my answer has helped to solve your BBCode table formatting problem and finally, you could finish your translation of fillippone's topic.
We all know how difficult BBCode formatting is sometimes - especialy for tables and I'm trying my best to find a good solution.
So, nice to see that my first customer is happy. And if my customer is happy I'm happy as well. Cheesy

Thank you 1miau for this topic and I appreciate your efforts.
As I already have created a topic about this problem on Meta board so I don't want to repost that here So I am quoting my topic here-
Thanks in advance  Wink
I want to know what is the cause of this problem? As You can see below that I have placed the images inside the table but the problem is that every time the images in my first column are getting too small, what is the reason for this? Are there any mistakes in my BBcodes?
Is anyone else who faces this kind of issues when using images on table ?

Here is the codes I have used
Code:
[table]
[tr]

Thank you 1miau for this topic and I appreciate your efforts.
As I already have created a topic about this problem on Meta board so I don't want to repost that here So I am quoting my topic here-
Thanks in advance  Wink
Hello Crypto Library!
Sorry for my late reply but as I can see Neurotic Fish already delievered an appropriate answer to this common issue in your topic from Meta.
In adition to his advice, you can also use Unicode +2800 ("⠀⠀⠀") instead of _____ and it'll work as well:
(I've also edited the size a little bit)

Big thumbs up from me for 1miau's service!

I have used his table styles and suggestions a few times in the past in my threads where I have big tables. Many types of table-creation keyword searches using "site:bitcointalk.org" leads to the thread you linked to in your OP, but there is also other valuable information out there that people can read before asking for help.

For instance:

It's always nice to hear such encouraging words.  Smiley
Since I'm not a coder and also not a true expert in BBCode formatting, I'll do my best here to give advice as helpful as possible.
