I am curious to find out, do the early adopters of Bitcoin (now multi-millionaires ) still come here on the Bitcoin talk forum, you know generally speak or talk with users here and stuff, like do they still visit? and also if i want to start a thread of stories as posts here like everyday, do you think that is a good idea and also not to get banned from here what page should i choose to post them?

Most of them are very active here, but they might not show themselves as early adopters; they choose to remain anonymous; it’s safer that way.
You can also go to WallObserver. A lot of the early holders are the ones keeping the thread busy, but don’t expect them to disclose their assets or how long they have been in there.

To get the most active, you could check BPIP's most active profiles report, and filter for various registration date years, like "2010", "2011", etc. |

What happened was I working with someone on the idea of some sort, I met someone who told, there was this one user on bitcoin talk, who gave out an idea which eventually solved a major problem and was rewarded with 100 btc and the donor was someone who was working on the project. So even I thought why not give it a try. I know you got the answer, but just I am a small time tech guy with interest in writing fiction, nothing much. |

On what exactly you base your assumption? Looking at the LoyceV list, that's obviously not the case. Majority of regular members loose interest in being regularly active, let alone someone who is a multimillionaire (even though, being an early bitcoin adopter doesn't automatically makes you filthy rich). |

Never heard that story. It’s possible that might have happened in the past, there are still accounts with the donator badge who are still active on the forum that can verify those stories. You do know the story of how meme bees got the donator badge right, you could add that to your article. I think readers will find it interesting just like people are fascinated by the Laszlo pizza bitcoins story. |

It's also the reason I like to say: "never sell everything!".I agree with that, I think that very few people from the past keep their bitcoins to this day, especially because a purchase of 1USD per BTC... when it reached 1,000 was something incredible, unimaginable... something that very few people expected to happen. .. Very difficult not to sell. After all, for many it was a REAL life-changing opportunity at that time of exploding prices. |

I don't know about that but the forum has a security bounty and rewards, highest one is $50,000 now. https://bitcointalk.org/sbounties.phpDo you mean this? This is probably the highest security bounty of any forum. It's only a little less than Google's security bounties. After this attack, the forum spent over 100 BTC on security-related stuff. Prior to the attack, the forum spent 40 BTC on password hashing improvements which significantly mitigated the damage of this attack.

The thing is - even the early developers (of Bitcoin white paper ) themselves never thought it'd go as high as it has gone so far. The validation and adoption globally has made everything even more easier... I doubt we still have people that don't know a thing about cryptocurrencies in general - like I normally say, unless a person lacks basic computer skills or they're practically apathetic towards digital science, they would eventually have a clue what it is... Those who came in to get rich quick made a quick investment profit and bought dumb shit (remember Goat buying a Lamborghini after selling his 1000 BTC coin, where is he now?) while those who actually believed in Bitcoin and weren't in it for the money found themselves as integral parts of various organizations that kept BTC coming their way even as it appreciated far beyond anyone's expectations. This is a trend that always continues and the market is great at separating the two classes. Try and earn interest on your BTC, lost. Try and use leverage to trade, lost. Try and cashout to buy a dream home thinking you're a genius and the gains will always continue to pay a crazy mortgage, lost. Try to get involved with Bitcoin because you care about freedom and want to build new use cases, well... those folks are still here. |

And if you look at the price, $0.04865->to current price, that is staggering, +141540150.95% as per CMC. But every bull run, we will here and saw old tweets of some early adopters that sold early and now regretting their decisions as they really be multi-millionaires. And how about the person who accidentally throw his computer with 8,000 BTC on it? They really didn't know how big Bitcoin could be in the future. |

Not that I know everything related to this forum, but from the long list provided by LoyceV you can see for yourself who are those who are still active from the beginning until now, starting from the owner of profile;u=1 to millions.
If I open one by one the owner of profile;u=1 until profile;u=me which has more than 3 million takes a long time unless I have a tool to see them without having to open them one by one.
Just keep your curiosity, friend. It's better to enjoy and be grateful for the knowledge we get in this forum. Some of the seniors who have legendary ranks have quite useful knowledge that we can take to equip us to learn about Bitcoin and crypto in general.
