I am curious to find out, do the early adopters of Bitcoin (now multi-millionaires ) still come here on the Bitcoin talk forum, you know generally speak or talk with users here and stuff, like do they still visit?

How do we know, the only thing that can give a clue is in knowing the numbers of those early donators to the forum here https://bitcointalk.org/donate.html and if most of them are still active or not, can can as well termed them as early adopters of bitcoin because virtually all of them made this donations when bitcoin was of lesser or no much value.

and also if i want to start a thread of stories as posts here like everyday, do you think that is a good idea and also not to get banned from here what page should i choose to post them?

I think this is what you need to do first.

To get the most active, you could check BPIP's most active profiles report, and filter for various registration date years, like "2010", "2011", etc.

yes to detect early users in this forum we can use that method, but to find answer this question...
I am curious to find out, do the early adopters of Bitcoin (now multi-millionaires ) still come here on the Bitcoin talk forum,
It's not necessarily that they are millionaires, but we also can't detect it even if they pin their bitcoin address on their profile because surely they use another wallet address and we don't know if they are millionaires or not.

Well it's good to ask but if I may say seeking their activeness may not be necessary because I believe they have done so well and has make their knowledge passive those they have brought up are still carrying out things they need do for you as much as knowledge is concerned.

As it stands now there is no knowledge you seek to know within the crypto currency world that the legendary can't give to you and most of them are really doing so well to ensure no newbie, junior members, members, etc below their rank lack anything that can help them to grow in the forum. Their information is always authentic, reliable and educative one of the most important is lacking discrimination correction is always meant to those that deserves it likewise rewards for good work.

Your purpose of seeking their activeness, it may be personal but for where know seem to passive it's not necessary that they must be active always but can seldomly go through the forum, example their is how your father age will reach he pass some work to you to handle as knowledge has already been impacted in you to continue while supervising you, I think this senaros is what mist of them do.

That's hard to say for sure like we don't know who has how much BTC until any of the members on this forum has publicized it. As members can also hide the actual number of BTC they have. But I can assume the ogzs of this forum who have been here from 2013 and 2012, must have a good amount of BTC in their holdings. As I can't say for sure but I hope there would be at least 10 millionaires on this forum who might be visiting this forum for some reason.

Well, TBH I don't think they really have to visit this forum, but at last, the admin of this forum must have hundreds of BTC in his holdings that might be worth a lot (just an assumption on the basis of their time in crypto). And talking about stories, that's a good idea, I would love to read such topics. And I don't think these topics will violate any rule so they must be good to go. And for such topics as they are related to BTC then they belong to btc discussion section or in help and beginners maybe. I find these two better.

I knew that at the very least there would be 20 or so millionaires, but I am so very unhappy that Satoshi is inactive. I wonder if he/they (blackbeard reference) is/are active on this forum with different names.

I was bored so, I posted stories on the off-topic board "Beyond the Escape" 2 EPs are already out you can check for yourself and also if you like them please leave feedback on how you think the story is going.

You seem more interested in getting a story rather than being a regular contributor to this forum.
There are obviously more millionaires here from trading BTC than those who got to diversify or sell off their BTC when they would have become millionaires by now, but many don't either want to be known or they simply don't have the time for the boards you would normally visit to comment on.
Being an experienced trader or user of BTC offers the peck of being able to have access to other technology and opportunities that abound in Blockchain and while many have become millionaires and lost all, some intend to multiply theirs and have multiple diversified portfolios that require attention.
This forum is like home to all Bitcoin lovers and users irrespective of class and wallet or bank balance size.

Most of them are very active here, but they might not show themselves as early adopters; they choose to remain anonymous; it’s safer that way.
Then how the hell do you know they're "very active"?  I've read tons of threads from the 2010-11 era and recognized about 0.1% of usernames based on having seen them post in my time here, so while the people who got very wealthy from early adoption might want to remain anonymous as such, my question is this:  if you had tons of bitcoin that you got from the early days, why in the world would you want to stick around a forum that's become such a cesspool for shitposters as compared to when bitcointalk first started?

I sure as hell wouldn't, but I knew coming in that this place was wall-to-wall crapola.

It's not necessarily that they are millionaires, but we also can't detect it even if they pin their bitcoin address on their profile because surely they use another wallet address and we don't know if they are millionaires or not.
The actual fact this we don`t know how many of the earlier investors are millionaires now while some these early investors who may sold some or all of their coins like Laszlo, may still become millionaires if they were still having large stack of bitcoin or at least continue accumulating if they became knowledgeable about the potential of bitcoin early enough.

Aside from privacy concern some might have stop using their old address mainly because its a legacy address and opt for Native segWit

Most of them are very active here, but they might not show themselves as early adopters; they choose to remain anonymous; it’s safer that way.

To be frank only a few will or are still remaining here but if I was one, I would actually just spend time with folks on WO than any other board here to avoid any of these dramas

even though, being an early bitcoin adopter doesn't automaticlaly make you filthy rich
Chances are many of them sold their Bitcoins when it went x10 or x100. So if someone sold all their Bitcoins at $1, $10 or $100, I can imagine they don't want to be reminded of what-could-have-been anymore. It's also the reason I like to say: "never sell everything!".

Furthermore, being on the forum since the beginning, or even being in Bitcoin since the beginning, does not mean that the person at the time collected a lot of BTC.

It is true that in the beginning, anyone who mined earned 50 BTC or a very high amount through some pool. But it was also easy to spend and distribute to other people. And some, perhaps, didn't even mine.

So a lot could have happened over the last 15 years.

It's fun to read back though:
So the person who will buy it for me, will make the transaction with their creditcard or paypal, and I'll send that person 1250 BTC.
I'll do it for 1600.
I have 7 $15 Amazon gift codes that I'll sell for 16.5 BTC each.
The pizza story is the most famous one, but there's so much more:

Well, that's an assumption but don't be surprised that so many of those early adopters cashed out a long time ago. They couldn't be millionaires. Even those hodling till now would've in one way or the other bought back except for a few who lost their wallet access and later regained it when Bitcoin gained value.

Anyway, I'm not surprised that a good number of pioneers in this forum aren't here anymore. Possibly, they've moved to other challenges that's less tasking than being here with all its bickerings. You needed to have been here pre–2020 to have witnessed certain boiling point situations. On the issue you raised, you can write on whatever topic and issues that catch your fancy provided you don't invade other users privacy or impugn on their personalities..

The pizza story is the most famous one, but there's so much more:
You did not know or forgot about Raw Thai Honey Pot trade, in 2012, that has all necessary reasons to be mentioned Cheesy

Raw Thai Honey for Bitcoins, another classic just after Bitcoin Pizza trade!

The pizza story is famous and classic for Bitcoin but there is some information that is not shared around.

The man behind Bitcoin pizza day is more than a meme.

Quote
To Hanyecz, who told Bitcoin Magazine that he spent something near 100,000 BTC on pizza that year, the purchase was just another drop in the bucket.

“We would just give people bitcoin on the forum,” he said — sometimes 100, sometimes 1,000 BTC at a time.

“I wanted to do the pizza thing because to me it was free pizza,” Hanyecz explained. “I mean, I coded this thing and mined bitcoin and I felt like I was winning the internet that day. I got pizza for contributing to an open-source project. Usually hobbies are a time sink and money sink, and in this case, my hobby bought me dinner.”

“On [Bitcointalk] at the time, there weren’t really any users,” he recalled. “There were 50 people, maybe 100. It was a lot different then. It was like, ‘Hey, do you want to contribute to an open source project?’ It wasn’t ‘Hey, do you want money to change the world?’”

It was what is called "working for the love of the shirt", not for the money.

That's why it's difficult to know whether many people from that time still have a lot or a little BTC, because BTC circulated very easily and in large quantities.

Never heard that story. It’s possible that might have happened in the past, there are still accounts with the donator badge who are still active on the forum that can verify those stories. You do know the story of how meme bees got the donator badge right, you could add that to your article. I think readers will find it interesting just like people are fascinated by the Laszlo pizza bitcoins story.
Does the donator badge still shows? I haven't seen a lot of them right now, those Donators and Diamond Members, I haven't seen any of them, is it because there's no more need to donate to the forum that they've also removed that status to the donators?

It was what is called "working for the love of the shirt", not for the money.

That's why it's difficult to know whether many people from that time still have a lot or a little BTC, because BTC circulated very easily and in large quantities.
Pretty sure that only a few of these people have ever hodl for the long-term with their bitcoin, the first time that the price of bitcoin pumped to a dollar, I'm sure that a lot of these people have sold so quickly because they believe that it's the only time that it's going to happen again.

Yes, this must have happened a lot. But even so, the mining reward remained high and they recovered quickly from sales.

But I remember two things that could have really contributed to many giving away their first coins:
- The first ASIC miners, the vast majority, must have been purchased with BTC. Manufacturers accepted BTC and certainly, many of the first miners took the opportunity to buy using BTC.

- In mid-2012, I'm not sure, there was at least one online store that sold computer equipment and only accepted BTC. I know it was an online store, well referenced here in the community. I think it closed in mid-2014. I believe that many took the opportunity to do some shopping. Do any of the older people here on the forum remember?

I think that if you had a list of 100 early adopters who also wrote on Bitcointalk (actually the earlier versions of the forum), there would be 0-1 user per 100 who still drops by from time to time to write something. It was a different time back then. Most of them won't have many reasons to remain active.

Also, you shouldn't think that any OG is now a multi-millionaire just due to the fact they were early adopters. I don't doubt for a second that many sold when their portfolios made the first x10, let alone x50, x500, etc. The bags they were holding might not have been enough to put them into the millionaire's club.

Some certainly left the forum for anonymity and the others because they've sold their Bitcoins. But I don't think they should be blamed at all for having sold their bag, because in many countries it's not easy at all to be able to cash out such amounts of cryptos even on several years. Most banks will be reluctant and ask many documents. And the more the time past the more the regulations become strict.

I am curious to find out, do the early adopters of Bitcoin (now multi-millionaires ) still come here on the Bitcoin talk forum, you know generally speak or talk with users here and stuff, like do they still visit?
As far as I can see here, there is not a single member who flexes the bitcoins they own, not even them, the goal is for their own personal security so it is difficult to determine whether large amounts of Bitcoin holders are still posting here, but I'm sure many of them are still posting on this forum

and also if i want to start a thread of stories as posts here like everyday, do you think that is a good idea and also not to get banned from here what page should i choose to post them?
No problem, as far as the topic you make, it's not a post that violates forum rules
