Bitcoin's volatility results in rapid price fluctuations, and this gives an advantage to cryptocurrency traders who are affiliated with Bitcoin or who are in the Crypto space.

However, why I'd agree that Bitcoin is the best among them is for instance, gold supply can increase with demand but that of Bitcoin is finite, it is capped at 21 million. Also, when you compare it with stock and real estate, it's volatility is a concern but looking at the level of success it's been able to attain within a very short time frame, Bitcoin still stands out.

I have not read anywhere about anyone claiming that gold is of limited supply and anyone with such argument is either ignorant of just playing to the gallery. Gold is still being mined in West Africa and several other locations in the world and the supply is never limited. Australia have an estimated reserve of 12,000 metric tons of gold, so where is the statement of gold having limited supply coming from?

Yeah, we don't have an idea how limited it is. But just take a look at the perspective of the whole world. The land is limited, the housing is limited, the trees are limited unless you keep on planting and so as the diamonds, fossil fuels and other precious metals such as gold.

You're right that there's a possibility that it's also existing in some other planets or outer space but can you imagine how much resources that the explorers will get just to get out there?

I have to agree with you. Bitcoin’s high volatility is what makes people stay investing and get attached with it. It could be a threat for others but majority, it could be the best asset for bitcoin. Not all investments are capable to surge high and skyrocket, as some are just following a slowly upward rise, but with bitcoin, while it can make our investments value increase way too fast, it can also drop its price drastically without warning us. However, if you are knowledgeable about bitcoin and you know exactly that those risks are worth the wait, then investing in bitcoin could be the best key to financial freedom and stability.

Governments have power, laws to govern many things in their countries and societies so they are able to govern many things in Bitcoin market and communities.

KYC, AML are products from governments and they are doing with with centralized exchanges.

They only can not censor Bitcoin transactions, can not freeze your bitcoins if you store it in your non custodial wallets and Bitcoin is unique in a way it gives us full power to control our money.

Supply and demand principle works for Bitcoin but I prefer to present one interesting trend.

Bitcoin total supply is 21M, won't change.
Demand will increase with time. Assume Bitcoin adoption will increase, not decrease.
Each four years, Bitcoin block subsidy will halve while in a same four years, adoption then demand increase a lot. New supply drops 50%, new demand increases more than 2 times.

We can say new supply from block subsidy drops but demand increases a lot. Price will be benefit by this New supply and new demand trend.

I would rather say that investment in bitcoin is not based on what you can afford to lose, because no one that has invested in bitcoin and waited for a long time that didn’t reap their profits in it. When you’re talking about “invest what you can afford to lose”, it should be related to altcoins and not bitcoins. 1BTC will always be 1BTC until you spend some part of it that its value reduces. So investment in bitcoin should be what you are able to spare for the long term and not to use until your profit target is reached. Talking about emotional and losing funds, it should be on altcoins and not bitcoin.

Yeah, it is definitely about amount of period you can wait and not the amount of money you can invest. There are a lot of people who invested a lot of money, but did it right at bull period was ending, so they had to wait a bit and then get to bear market and had to sell so they made a big loss. Without going deeper into technical analysis and aspect I would like to say that Bitcoin is an asset which has been increasing continuosly since it's inception and even if the price dips it is recovered so one thing is clear that there would be sureshot profit for long term holders and hence it would be the best asset for investment though it was originally not meant for investment.

The scarcity and decentralization of Bitcoin aren't the only things that make it a good asset. If something is scarce, but people don't want it, it can still be worthless. If something is decentralized, but people don't take part in it, it's useless.

I never see these posts or questions during bear season but when cow season comes, there are thousands of questions similar to this all over social media. This is also a sign for me to realize that cow season is really approaching.   

Even a short one, those who are not new here don't need it anymore and not only today but BTC is the goat (greatest of all time). Also, the increase in its price is legit and not just a story or a rumour. BTC didn't became really huge after a couple of years only but it roughly takes a decade for it to achieve a price we are seeing now.

There are also lots of challenges along the way, so becoming a millionaire through it is not easy and only a few are successful. It's risky investing on something that you don't know but this is better than those people invest in the meme coins. Maybe you are not only active for you not see a post like this but that's great if you can see this as a sign to know that a cow or bull run is now approaching.

You mean if you invest $1000 in bitcoin for $69k and after 3 years bitcoin is worth $70k, and you consider this a success that bitcoin brings? I really don't understand what your business plan is here, but for me this is the biggest failure if I were the one making this investment.
