In an actual sense, limited availability is the reason why Bitcoin is so volatile and the same is the reason for all other cryptocurrencies. You see, if an asset doesn't have any buyers or sellers even if it has limited availability, it wouldn't be very volatile because volatility is when people ask or bid for different prices, and if the availability is limited, those asking and bidding prices would keep fluctuating because every other trader would make their bids and asks for a different price, sometimes it will go up and go down based on market conditions.

However, why I'd agree that Bitcoin is the best among them is for instance, gold supply can increase with demand but that of Bitcoin is finite, it is capped at 21 million. Also, when you compare it with stock and real estate, it's volatility is a concern but looking at the level of success it's been able to attain within a very short time frame, Bitcoin still stands out.

I'd say bitcoin is the best in the long run. They call it a volatile asset because it has these 50% and more drawbacks, but that only affects traditional investors. Bitcoiners in time become immune to it and don't care that there was a 60% correction because in a period of 5 years they're up 100% anyway, so what does it matter if they're 100 or 200% up? They can take it, while for a normal, traditional investor this is a catastrophe.

This is one of the things that got me interested in bitcoin. No traditional trader can withstand a 70% correction in a bull market, but a bitcoiner can and this is what separates the wheat from the chaff.

You're right though that every investment, it's always including the risk that we have to take and as for Bitcoin, this is risky as well although the risk that it has got seems nothing to us that has been used to it.

Those that have investments that are wanting to diversify, 1%-5% of your portfolio for Bitcoin is quite low but that ain't bad at all. But you'd see people here that have more than 50% of their total assets are in Bitcoin.

I think in previous halving people were not much familiar with bitcoin and its pumping mechanism but for coming halving everyone is waiting and the buying rate is also increasing therefore it touched 73k$ for the first time.

What you said makes me think that you are blaming investments like gold, foreign exchange...when you cannot become rich. And I wonder, would you blame bitcoin if your bitcoin investment didn't bring you wealth in the future?
