You made me remembered my friend at my working place, this dude always says he is not going to gamble again and he will uninstall the betting app on his phone but after a week or some days he still install back the betting app. So anytime he says this same thing to me I will laugh at him because I know he is just saying it because he has lost a lot of money. Easy to say but it would really be the hardest thing to be done by someone when it comes into this aspect on which we know that majority will really be that failing on doing such thing because the primary thing that would be coming up into someones mind is into the moment that you would really be playing up gambling then it would really be that so damn hard for you to completely stop on the time or moment that you will really be trying out to do such thing because you've been trying out to maximize your profitability on that particular moment. Yes, you both have a good point, but judging from what O.P said about his intended gambling strategy of  loving the idea to just go to a casino to only double his capital, and leave, as it's literally not a bad idea, as it only seems he/she is only trying to minimize risk, while he maximize profit by using a low odds to gamble a high amount, of which must times the chances of games with odds e.g 1.5 to 2odds are usually not that  risky, unlike as compared with when a person gambles with just $2 to gamble on a game with 100odds. But however, from my little experience and knowledge, I can say that it's always worth it to risk small to aim big.

Your strategy is a good one. I call what you do gambling budgeting and also sticking to your budget because if you do it and stick to it, you will find out that it is very hard for you to be addicted to gambling because you always focus on your budget. Whether you win or lose, you still have to leave the casino.

Yes, feeling satisfy with our current earning will be a prevention for us not to chase more winning because we will realizes that winning in gambling is not easy and even we keep trying but we don't have luck, we will still difficult to win.
