Make mistakes and also take corrections. This is one of the things i learnt in this forum as Newbie and it's helped me through my journey this far so I decided to create this thread to help encourage other new members. It's in our human nature to make errors, that's to say that they’re inevitable and bound to happen but the most important thing is to take corrections, learn from the mistakes, to avoid making more errors.

 There are some errors that people make out of ignorance, for instance wrong quoting or posting on the wrong board, do not panic when you make such errors, normally as a Newbie you're here to learn and impact knowledge when you can therefore you should see those errors as a learning process. Also, there are members that would take it upon themselves to bring such errors to your notice and probably give you the necessary corrections, now that's where taking corrections comes in, do not panic it might lead you to make more errors while you're in a rush to correct yourself, take your time, take note of your mistakes so as not to make more similar ones in future and correct them carefully.

 Sometimes you might feel you're making the right points, giving your opinions about some threads but do not feel threatened when someone quote you wrong, try to prove yourself right if you're sure of your points or take corrections if you discover they're right. Note that no one knows it all and there are lots of people on here that might be far more inteligent than you, so sometimes instead of arguing it's best to take corrections and learn.

Mistakes are inevitable of which any one can be a victim of  such circumstances, we are all imperfect that are only working towards perfection, while not accepting corrections at a mistake will only retard such person by not given up on the he opportunity of learning a new thing, it is very wrong to be self centered and failing to admit a mistake and as well learn from it. Mistakes are abound to happen and learning never ends and any one can make mistake and any one can also make corrections, that is my humble opinion as this regards.

This is quite impressing just like you said mistake is innavitable everybody make mistake but any mistake that keep repeating itself will be an error so we should try not to be doing similar mistake all the time as that might lead someone into a place of regrection. Anyone who made a mistake and he or she is been corrected and refuses to hearken to the correction will never grow and the end thereof is always destruction or regrection, most people who listen to correction or take advice are people that always succeed in life.

Those learnings people get from the mistakes they experience is really a great tool for them to learn to became an expert or at least became knowledgeable on what they are trying to do since those incidents which cost them a huge losses will make people realize that they should never commit the same bad actions again and change their style to correct something then possible to get something that can benefit them. If they have mindset to change for something better and learn from their mistakes then they have good future on the field they are trying to learn. But if they are lazy and just move on without doing action with their bad experience then I believe everything will be repetitive from them since they didn't learn anything.

Its good if someone will correct us and we have this forum to discuss a lot of helpful things since it can help us learn a lot and became more knowledgeable on those important things that we need to learn.

You're absolutely right, as long as this forum is concern nobody is perfect even those high ranked members do make mistakes, maybe after they realized there mistake probably they will look for a way to make corrections, that's life we learn from our mistakes nobody is perfect here on earth even the wisest man on earth do make mistakes. However we shouldn't look at it as a new thing, because is a normal thing, if we don't make mistakes there's no way we can learn.

There will be mistakes between old members and new members of this forum but the difference of mistakes will be more for newbies, but I think the mistake is normal. Taking correction is one things we should be ready to embrace.
There are some mistakes that could be a big disaster if we eventually make it that is why every little thing count.
There are still people that don't take things very seriously. They joke a lot which is nothing wrong but we need to be wise and take every decision and step very seriously especially when we are instructed to do something and follow the rules strictly to avoid a long story.

  The importance of accepting correction can not be over emphasis it cut across not only in this forum but in life generally, Not being able to accept corrections are one of the reasons why some people don't grow or add value to what they are, a lot of people are being carried away by pride and failed to recognize the importance of taken corrections irrespective of whom the correction is coming from what should be considered is to what important and level of the correction, reason being that their those who don't accept corrections from a younger ones or lower rank member, mistake is inevitable we are only imperfect human that is working towards perfection.

Naturally we are bound to make mistakes and taking this forum for a contention, no one started as an expert in this forum without being experienced after making mistakes and endivoirs for error corrections.
Even after being learnt from the past we are still exposed to further mistakes.

All we owes to it is to admit it and bestow on making it right again if there are chances to but let us not abuse the privileges of doing it right again after the errors by feeling reluctant of acting unserious towards what is necessarily required because some points of errors in this forum does not give correction privileges as when violating the forums policies Such as plagiarism, spamming and the move of allegedly to scamming or other forums polices and claims to be an error.

One major thing I would point out of being newbies problem to cope in the forum is when they are being corrected over their mistakes but they takes it for a grudge maybe felling they are always right and does not have to be corrected.

Then you would always end up going nowhere and learning nothing from the forum as a beginner.
So you do not have to live by your pasts and submitting to be enslaved by your inexperience and errors while staying at n the furums.

That's why it's good as a newbie to always ready clearly and understand the rules of the forum. Also as a newbie it more advisable to do more of reading than posting, so you can actually understand everything very well before you start posting. There are lots of perfectionist here in the forum and many of them have zero tolerance for errors and you won't like yourself if they come for you. Even when you post or comment, you have to always cross check if you are doing it the right way or in the right thread. Some mistakes might cost you so dearly that you will wished you never made them. Some mistakes might give you little or no room for correction, so try your best to always be on the safe side, than waiting for correction.

you really have a good understanding about the forum because there are people in this forum that are mostly after errors and mistakes by other people more especially the newbies so it will be good not to fall to their trap in the first place and doing more of reading the forum rules and threads correctly before making posts or replies will be of good help not fall victim because I also realized that some people just feels that everyone here knows everything about the forum whether you are a newbie or a high ranked member.

This forum is like another institution where we obtain different knowledge we wish to learn and understand, for me I believe that if you are open to learn something that you don't know you will learn and understand it, some persons came here and also left here same and some persons came and actualize their vision due to they are open to accept corrections, so any registered user in this community who wants to go far will not be discouraged when the person encounters criticism, criticism is one of the things a beginner face and if they endure such that means they will go beyond.

One thing I noticed is that if you don't want another users to condemn your work or articles make sure that you read comprehensively before you react or respond to any messages, and ensure you have made a research very well before you portray any point, any user who brings solutions to a question asked in this community will be like by other user's because it respond to questions intelligently.

So someone who is willing to learn will accept corrections with immediate effect and it will not hesitate to embrace errors and pick up the right thing, for me accepting your wrongs is a factor that will make you to Skyrocket your chances of learning.

Some times here in the forum I see people claim they are correcting you meanwhile they themselves do not have the knowledge which they want to inculcate in you. when you then point out to then that they don't really understand what they are trying to teach they turn it by concluding that you do not take corrections. I have found this act amongst the same ranked members as I am.

most times I also do correct eople especially when I have enough knowledge but if I see they leave of ignorance in the said user I totally ignore them which could lead to the mistakes you're talking about that keeps repeating itself. sometimes it's because members do not like to take advise from people who are below their ranks or of the same ranks with them believjng they do not have enough knowledge whereas we only have a rank attached to our username, some could be coming from a forum where they already know alot but are not ranked up here.

Not only we are doing it because it’s good, but certainly we are doing it because it’s the right thing to do. Mistakes are bound to be corrected at all cost, that is to prevent from creating the same mistakes again that will hinder your future success. However, you’re right here, not all people have the ability to admit their own mistakes as they chose to prove instead that they are right, that’s the biggest problem for those people who cannot dare to see theirselves losing and committing mistakes in the long run.
