making corrections after their mistakes is something that newbies need to do because by making corrections it means they want to learn and want to develop in this forum. don't be stubborn like many newbies do, like you said that they actually consider criticism said by others as an insult to what they do. if a newbie is like that, then what happens is they will be stuck there and not develop, even worse they are ignored by other users because their heads are stubborn and do not accept criticism.

Even in higher ranks come from the low tiers experience this kind of problem too during their early days but throughout their experience they will now learn from their mistakes and came from the amendments of other members and those become their foundation through out their journey in the crypto spaces.

There are some errors that people make out of ignorance, for instance wrong quoting or posting on the wrong board,

The forum has a feature of editing/deleting _{(some boards have a time restriction)} posts so you don't need to get bothered if you get a wrong quote or post. Also, you can even move your topic created into other board if you created in the wrong boards.

This is one of the things i learnt in this forum as Newbie and it's helped me through my journey this far so I decided to create this thread to help encourage other new members. It's in our human nature to make errors, that's to say that they’re inevitable and bound to happen but the most important thing is to take corrections, learn from the mistakes, to avoid making more errors.

It’s difficult for newbies to join the forum and not make mistakes, sometimes they are being criticized by other members and some of them get discouraged because of criticism which is wrong, they criticize them to make them stronger and learn from their mistakes. Everyone in the forum have made mistakes one way or another in their early days but they didn’t get discouraged when they were criticized instead they learned from the mistakes and grow. I believe mistakes are meant to teach us certain things in order to learn and grow.

Sometimes you might feel you're making the right points, giving your opinions about some threads but do not feel threatened when someone quote you wrong, try to prove yourself right if you're sure of your points or take corrections if you discover they're right. Note that no one knows it all and there are lots of people on here that might be far more inteligent than you, so sometimes instead of arguing it's best to take corrections and learn.

This is how some people learn, but sometimes before giving your opinion and it’s best to research about it before giving an opinion so you don’t make aimless posts. Researching about it first should be a priority then asking questions where you don’t seem to understand so others can explain it better. We are all learning from one another here.

we met the same mistake that we say that we have acquire a more experience currently after we have passed the process of being a beginner in this community so nobody is above mistake but the thing is that that is on mistake that is unintentional mistake and there is mistake that is intentional mistake so for you to have done a mistake that is unintentional with the account it might be that someone who you don't know or someone else have make use of their account live for example those hero members who engage in spamming and also in plagiarism or using AI to make their post when you cross check very well you will notice that they are not the one that did such a mistake maybe it is person that use such account to commit such a crime so when looking at it I will say that it is unintentional act.

Humans are only fallible, when I feel that I am wrong then I stop because if we understand the mistake in a short time then it is easy to correct the mistake but if we are late to understand the mistake or too late then it is not easy to correct the mistake. There are some mistakes that there is nothing to do but regret. To avoid such mistakes we should think several times before doing an action. If we don't understand that the work is wrong before doing it, then there is no use in regretting that mistake after finishing the work.  Another point is that decisions should never be made in haste in such matters because haste will greatly increase the chances of making a mistake.

This is actually what the thread is trying to address, so for anyone who is built in this manner and having come across this thread should begin to form the habit of admitting his/her mistakes. No human on earth is perfect, from our actions to what we say. We might feel very full of ourselves even on what we claim to know better than anyone but on a close view we may be wrong on a side and correct from the other, so when it gets to that aspect where we are wrong then it is expected of us to admit and take corrections.

This correction might not come on a soft ground, probably in a critic manner or from someone that may seem below standard but it is a no excuse not to take those corrections, perhaps there maybe certain repercussions from failing to take those corrections earlier.

It's not everybody that are ready to admit their mistakes. There are still people that would ague with you till you get tired just to make sure that they don't tolerate your opinion. It's true but it is for people with a low understanding power or not having the ability to remember things or observe what they have done which is the reason why they don't understand whether they have made a mistake and even if they try to re-evaluate what they did, they still wouldn't be able to find the mistake because they can't understand things properly or be smart enough to understand their mistake and don't repeat it.

Such people often repeat the mistakes they make because of their inability to evaluate their mistakes and this is what makes them stay away from corrections, I wonder how such people move in life, I believe they stay where they are forever because to move forward and grow, you need to have all these qualities.

Many people believe they are correct at all times, so if you try to correct their mistakes, they will argue with you because they dislike corrections. As a result, people are difficult to correct in life and will not achieve many things because some people come into your life to help you and bring you to light so that he can correct all of your mistakes so that you can change, but if you argue with him, he will personally leave you and stare at you. Corrections help people achieve in all they do because not everything can be seen, and when you accept corrections from others, you will notice that your work will move more smoothly and without repeating the same mistakes. So it is preferable that someone accept correction, even if it is painful, because anyone who corrects your errors likes you and does not want you to fail.

I absolutely hate it when people get angry or frustrated when they are corrected for a mistake they have made, they act and respond in a way like they haven't made a mistake but you are trying to show them in a negative light which is extremely hateful and I hate it when someone does that to me.

This is the reason why I have stopped correcting people, even if I see that someone is making a mistake or has made a mistake, I say to hell with it, let them do whatever they want and they will realize later what they have done wrong and I wouldn't make myself look bad or hear their harsh words after trying to correct them.

The best way to deal with this is to ignore such people and let them handle with their problems and mistakes themselves.

This is the same thing that most older members on the forum will write because most of us have been there. Most of us made very silly, embarrassing, mistakes during our earlier days on the forum. And some were lucky enough to get a second chance and they turned out to be some of the most top members here.

And as for you, you still have a lot to learn but you have learned one of the most valuable lessons on the forum. As a newbie on this forum , over time you would learn to develop a thick skin because criticism and corrections would come. Some would be harsh and some others would be considerate. However whatever be the case do not take it personal just learn the lesson and move on.

yeah, like when i was new i made alot of silly mistakes , some even need to criticizing but still i didnt let it get to me because alot of people have their ways of correcting others either in a harsh or calm, but still they are still doing it so that one shouldn't keep repeating same mistakes. but at first i was always bad till got to point where i began to things more clearer, and that when i began to see the true benefit of this forum, due to the amazing users that are here to always impact on you.

We should not basically or wait until we make a mistake before we can take a correction, as someone who wants to learn, what you needed to do is to make sure that we learn from the mistakes of another person not until we make our own mistakes, so I don't really know exactly the correction we are suppose to make, so I believe that taking a correction is important but make sure as a beginner you observe other person's or user's mistakes and correct yourself from their, because I know quite well while we should take correction from someone mistakes.

One funny thing about the forum is that, no one gives a f**k about what you think and how you feel and that’s why you have to be ready to learn and grown from Avery experience you get from the forum.
As a new member, I would say, you’ve already learned the lost and one thing that is certain in the Forum is criticism which must definitely come but the ability to grow pass it is what actually matters and you should learn not to take every work or post from the forum to heart and always be open to criticism and always be ready to learn from them.

If we must grow in life and generally everything you find yourself doing, you must consider taking Corrections and criticism with no annoyance, and be ready to adjust when needful,  this way you will definitely become a better version of yourself with time. in some cases people do see people that are giving them correction as an antagonist or taking it too personal and even see them as an enemies of progress, whereas they leave to examining and try to understand the point which this person correcting them is trying to make them know.

To me, Failure to take correction means officially planning for your downfall, because most successful people we've seen today, become a version of themselves as result of numbers of corrections they took after that they realised it and admitted they've made mistakes and then took corrections.

Nobody is above mistakes, but the best thing is to take correction if been corrected, some find it difficult to take correction because they fill that they are perfect and old enough for themselves, if you try to correct them, they will get annoyed seeing that you are down grading them and they will ignore and won’t bother to take correction, mistake is an error when done once but never a mistake when repeated, every error need to be corrected so that it should not repeat itself again, this forum also have rules and regulations that guide it, to prevent error.

As a newbie if you truly believe that you are here to learn and wish to learn more don’t ignore your mistakes. Whenever you made a mistake, accept correction, correct your mistakes, and learn from the mistake that is the best way for you to learn more.
