Totally depends on someones decision because we do really know that there are people who are really that some sort of being introvert who doesnt really like
on showing on the things that they've been getting involved into. This is why its not really that not something new if people would really be tending to be that silent about on the things
that they've been getting involved into. Some are getting ashamed because we do live in a world on where people are really that having that bad looking about gambling
and to those people who are getting involved with it. This is why they dont really like on letting others seeing on what they are really getting involved with.
So its up to someones preference and the conditions that they are into.

In my opinion and from a fairly reasonable point of view about the reasons why someone prefers to hide their gambling activities from the public eye is quite simple which you have also said the right thing that one of the reasons they hide it is because they are afraid or worried that people in their environment will view them as someone who has a bad personality because they are involved in gambling, and obviously this negative viewpoint can cause other problems in their life and one of them may reduce the level of socialization between them and others around them.

There is a high probability that the people around them will stay away from them and also maybe by throwing some criticism for fear of being exposed to the bad effects of gambling by the gambler, and also obviously I think there is a high probability that other people will reduce their trust in the gambler and when people no longer have trust in you then most likely you will have difficulty in life when you need help from them in any case, and this is quite a reasonable reason why people prefer to hide their gambling activities.

I'm like that too, I don't let other colleagues know what I'm busy doing, especially if I'm gambling because I know they'll have something to say and possibly change their opinion of me, because they can use that as a reason against mine once did something wrong. I believe that most religions will not allow their followers to engage in gambling when we look at the bad effects that gambling can cause itself, and I think that even if for example your religion allows gambling activities but still we cannot get out of the stigma attached to gambling where most people will usually consider that gambling is an activity that is better avoided regardless of your religion, and because of this people prefer to hide their gambling activities because they don't want to get a lot of criticism from people in their environment.

I assess the activities they create from a very positive point of view as human beings with thoughts even though habits can be considered quite bad even if they do not harm other people with the money they allocate for gambling.

It makes the most sense for them to hide in a place where they can't be seen if you don't look. Not all circles view gambling as bad or good and I am also not a saint of activities that are considered bad. But it's true, it depends on each person's decision as a person who gambles.
For me, gambling games are not always bad. Gambling games can be positive if someone does it for positive purposes.

I hide when it comes to gambling and these are the reasons why.

1. I have kids living with me, I don't want them to copy me because they have so much respect for me, one once said that he is looking up to me, he is my nephew and my life story is like hope to them, he claimed he want to grow up and become like me, I have always advice them to avoid gambling if they really want to make money, I did this to protect them from gambling addiction.

2. Right from the start I have always hate gambling in thr public, in my country people will use it against you when they notice that things aren't going smooth in your life, they will spread rumour that all you are making is going into gambling and that's why your life is upside down. I shouldn't care much about this, it shouldn't be my business, until I saw how it impacted a brothers life, that the society even deny him of job, because he is a gambler.

When you have children around you, they always want to follow the steps of the older ones around them, either good or bad they don't care, as they still can't tell the difference.
