Well Solana might do just that. I don’t think it’s actually going to cost them the main solana coin but they are just releasing SO MANY memecoins and everyone is understandably hyping it with it being a part of the solana ecosystem.

But at this point, I am seeing too much quantity and not much quality. There’s a huge chance that these ‘new sensations’ are just going to die in a few months.

So many meme coins on Solana are making waves but they are good on initial hype after a few months, a new meme will come along with a better promise from previous memes in the market, and the old memes will die a natural death.

Let's admit it, these memes are being looked at as profit generators by whales at the expense of small investors or newbies, they have huge funding to create FOMO in the market

I'm not familiar with this EPIC memecoins, but if you feel confident about investing in it, by all means do so, afterall it's your money, but remember to invest the amount that you can afford to loose.

Exactly and all those total supply and market capitalization in most time are just formulation and not reality. And the way I understand those memecoins, there are some groups of friends would come together and raise that amount and deposit it to deceive people to invest and when they have taken enough money from victims then the project would have issues and die off. No crypto project will produce another coin that will come and pass it in the space. And what I mean is that no memecoin that is in Solana network that will come and over take Solana again instead it die as you said.

Be wise when dealing with this memecoins and airdrops because most of them are for trap to lure people to invest.

This is the TEH EPIK DUCK coin. I saw its name on Bitget's official account on X several days ago ^[1], and I believe it was listed. Trading opened on this exchange platform on April 18 at 11:00 AM (UTC).

As for me, even if it were listed on T1 exchanges, I do not recognize these meme coins as a real and safe investment. Although many people seek profit in the first place through their investments, not everyone sees the level of risk associated with these meme coins. Even if its price reaches $0.044, there's no guarantee it will return to that level, continue to rise, get listed on more CEX platforms, or its team won't abandon it and create another coin because creating a meme coin on the Solana blockchain, creating a website, and creating accounts for its community and simple designs is not difficult or costly.

How many times investors need to watch the same movie before they know how it ends? Meme coins are useless and they are just a way for greedy and unscrupulous developers to scam whoever that trust them.

Now the developers may come up with a bunch of excuses about why their projects fail, but it does not matter, what matters is that the majority of those that decide to trust them will lose their money and will have no way to ever recover it.

It is easy to gets bots as followers on X by paying some money. Followers doesn't mean anything unless they are active on X. Solana is now full of these meme coins after the success of a few. Not all of them will be able to replicate the same success. I am not against any meme coin but it is better to take more caution than before in investing in these coins.

When I do a Twitter analyze, I see which famous people in the crypto world are subscribed to this project. If there are no such people or a few, that's the first red flag.
All projects use white and black methods of scoring their social media accounts, so the number of followers is not an important criterion.

Believing that doge will not just disappear, the fact that Elon Musk is behind it, the oldest meme will still be the elder for other memes.
In the meantime the new memes are just trying to hype up the many enthusiasts on this one, regardless they hope to be like WIF, SHIBA or PEPE in the future but I say bullish if there are more memes like that.
I think memecoins will continue to come and go, in the sense that the old ones come out rugpull, then come again.

These type of new meme projects that hype people are not stuff you should be investing into. Maybe there is a small chance that you could do well with it at the time, but that doesn't mean that you are going to do all that well, sometimes you could do well enough and sometimes you could do terrible with it as well. I believe that we are not going to be doing that well if we are not careful.

This type of meme projects will end up making us lose a lot more money, and we should not be doing anything big with our investment into these type of silly stuff. If you really want to make as much money as you want, then you are going to end up with a result that is not going to be all that simple in the end.
