It usually takes after a year right? Hoping that we are to get back to normal rates and that no other problems are encountered like economic problems or wars that could take place. I do hope we reach that bull market and everyone reaches their goals. I think looking forward to the accumulation of it would be great and hopefully doubling the price of BTC. It's possibly the price that we will look into.

Over the past year or so, we've been discussing and anticipating the Bitcoin Halving. We heard that after the Bitcoin halving comes the bull run. We've learned different strategies to accumulate Bitcoin in preparation for this event. As humans, we easily get bored if there is no goal in sight or task ahead of us. The Bitcoin halving was the goal in sight that motivated many Bitcoiners to accumulate Bitcoin. Now that the event has technically come and gone, what is the next big thing that we should look forward to? What are the next collective goals or tasks ahead of us to stay motivated?
The majority of people who are scrambling to buy Bitcoin at this period know little about Bitcoin. Their main aim is to buy today and make an instant profit tomorrow. The Bitcoin halving is just an event while the bull run is a period. The halving doesn't automatically lead to an increase in price but sets the pace for the period. The next thing is to be patient and wait until the price gets to your targeted profit margin. There is nothing like a collective goal because everybody has individual plans for their investment. Just be patient.

You are acting like the halving event is the end of bitcoin. We can still continue to look forward to bitcoin but moreover I think we should focus on improving scalability of bitcoin. Since there would be a lot of people that’s going to be interested in bitcoin, we must act right now and try to make bitcoin as accessible and affordable to use as possible even though it is now one of the most valuable assets if not maybe the most valuable out there.

Aren't we already in the bull run? what do you consider a bull run? what should be the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins for a successful bull run? Bitcoin was under 40K 3 months ago. and now it is above 65K. Solana went from $20 to $150, and many other altcoins skyrocketed just like that.
I do not think we are already in the bull run. The price of bitcoin hasn't gotten back or even surpassed 70k which is what it was at some weeks ago. The expectation of the bull run is that the price will continue to rise or attain steady price.

If you need motivation I think you have a bad mindset about it.
hahaha. I do not have a bad mindset about bitcoin. I am here for the long term and even though I have my personal goal, I think this is a community where we share about bitcoin and if I decide that I need to also adopt another goal to keep driving my motivation and goal about bitcoin, I do not think that makes it a bad mindset.

I'm personally always interested in any adoption-related news. Like another country adopting bitcoin as legal tender or even any general "good" regulations that helps the adoption of it grow.
Other thing I always hope to see is other countries starting to get into mining bitcoin more. We are in need of as much decentralization as we can get. Concentration of mining hashrate in certain countries is always dangerous and a threat for Bitcoin's decentralization specially countries that are known for abusing powers like China and USA.
Exactly, this is what I'll now add to part of my goals. I'll start looking at more of bitcoin adoption news worldwide. Bitcoin mining is not a thing yet in my country for several reasons but it wouldn't hurt to look into that too.

Does the price of Bitcoin and its growth potential motivate you little? Halving may be a significant event, but it is a completely predictable event. It’s definitely not worth focusing on it as something outstanding, because the market is more influenced by unexpected factors. And I wouldn’t talk about collective tasks and goals in a decentralized system at all, it turns out to be some kind of oxymoron.

Based on my previous experiences after the previous Bitcoin halving, it usually seems like nothing has happened, but wait and watch something is cooking up, and I assure you that it just a matter of time, if you have loaded up your basket of coins, then sit back and relax and wait to ride the ride, and if it's someone that haven't bought Bitcoin, you might be seeing the last opportunity in the market that when you look back in the future where we are and where we were, then you will regret it not buying now.

Can we call someone who is mainly interested in the "price" and bull runs a "bitcoin enthusiast"? That sounds more like fiat enthusiast, but I suppose it is OK as long as price is not the only thing that person is interested in Wink

I agree with you boss, but most times in live we all have what inspires us to do different things in different ways, it might be passion, knowledge, profit or other things,  all bitcoiners have what inspires them in this crypto space, and more than 80% of them do it for the profit of it, the rest of it for knowledge and other reasons, so the People who do it for the profit of it are always interested in the price,
Bitcoin enthusiasts should keep on with the interest in Bitcoin irrespective of what motivates them on this crypto space, as all is a driving force behind the popularity of Bitcoin.
