While you have mentioned some great points I can guarantee that diversification of your crypto portfolio or just investment portfolio holds some of its own advantages. Such as having reduce your risks. If one coin is not doing well you can expect to still gain profit from the other. Bitcoin is not always stable and is constantly fluctuating. So it’s good to explore what else is in the horizon but if you feel safe enough in just investing in one coin the be my guest.

Yes the area I see this diversifying of advantage is when one is tide down with some responsibility that would lead to selling off your investment such as Bitcoin if one has diversified investment you have options of select the lesser that will not totally pull you out from having investment in BTC but only sell off those less one thereby saving you of not tempering or selling your Bitcoin investment.

Secondly the risk factor as you have made mentioned it reduce your risk as you will not be depressed if one of the investment happened to fail as your expectations might be the diversify investment can wage such depression and give you some level of balance.

Let me make this clear to you, suppose you invest in Bitcoin and on the other hand another investor invests in Sheetcoin then whose investment will be more secure of course your investment because you have invested here in Bitcoin.  Investors who invested in bitcoins lost money temporarily but did not lose money completely, which means that there are many ALT coins in the market that disappeared from the market after the investors invested in them. Losing a coin from the market means that the investor has lost all the money invested in that coin, but this is not the case with Bitcoin. If people feel more comfortable holding say 80% of their net worth in Bitcoin & 20% spread across real estate & other assets then that’s fine. I'm in the same opinion as you do, let's say you hold 50% — 90% of your portfolio in Bitcoin, this is good depending on one's choice about how much of his portfolio will be held in Bitcoin. If you only hold Bitcoin, you won't catch the Altcoin season that makes the market to be more spicy and rewarding, especially when you don’t own up to 0.1 BTC, people that enjoy good rewards in Bitcoin are Basically people that hold up to 1 BTC and above. One good thing I like about holding the majority of my funds in BTC, is that I'm a bit relaxed compared to when I hold other coins.

It is necessary to diversify investments and not be left out of price increases. Every investor should allocate a certain percentage of their money to Bitcoin and invest the remaining amount in altcoins or other types of investments.

There is no way one can hold Bitcoin for a short term without being tempted to trade or do some short term practice and that is where the high risk comes in. Those people who have gained experience in the crypto market will not only invest in Bitcoin but will definitely take advantage of altcoins investment. Bitcoin investment is for the longer term because it is already expensive in its worth so people want to make double profit from it through keeping it for years.

Diversifying in to altcoin for newbies in to Bitcoin for me it  is not advisable especially at the early Bitcoin accumulation stage where there should be focus on sizing every opportunities that shows it self in the market in order to build a solid and sizeable worth of Bitcoin up to a reasonable amount. However any one getting involved with other coins other than Bitcoin shouldn't do more 10 percent size of your Bitcoin investment in to other coins as Bitcoin is the best among others such that the performance of other coins solely depends on Bitcoin performance and Bitcoin is less risky as when compared with other coins. Having a Bitcoin non related investment can also be good in terms of diversification, such as selling commodities, land, gold real estate etc.

Well, it's true that BTC owners with long-term goals will definitely get bigger profits than those who invest short-term, even though BTC has experienced a decline, as we can see, BTC has risen again, so I don't think there's any need to panic too much because the Bitcoin cycle has been implemented and there we just wait for btc to reach a new high and we can sell or hold until the price of BTC is higher than the new high that has been reached now
