Why you should only hold Bitcoin

I have been holding BTC as my biggest share of my portfolio but I admit that I've got some altcoins too, some are good to be lost forever and I won't mind that and some are I am counting to make some profit. But even with that, if I profit from those altcoins, I'm going to convert that into BTC still and that's why I'm just trying to get to that point. I haven't sold a lot yet and still waiting for them to have some fruitful gains this bull run.

Choosing to place most of it in Bitcoin, I think this is very appropriate because we all believe that this asset has very good developments from day to day and choosing several good altcoins so that we can make a profit, of course this really helps us in collecting Bitcoin as a long-term investment.

Holding Bitcoin for the long term is fine, but keeping it in a wallet for the long term will definitely improve from here in the future. But the biggest loss you can face if you hold Altcoins is that you notice the only people holding Altcoins going bankrupt. Especially since many projects are getting destroyed from the market, so in my opinion it is best to hold on to Altcoins and give up hope of profiting. However, you can be successful with Bitcoin in the long run.

You will less likely involve with trading than if you store your bitcoin directly on centralized exchange.

But if you have plenty money to invest in decentralized currency, no just invest only in BTC despite BTC is the king among other cryptocurrencies but you need to add other cryptocurrencies in your BTC in case the price of BTC is not pumping, and you are in need of money so that you can use other to solve the problem.

When you hodl BTC during the bear run, you will never regret for hodling that coin long because it is a coin everybody want to hodl to have access to a bigger profits when the bull season occur in the market..

I'm hodling BTC and ETH right now which I will not sell yet and am not worry about what is happening to the market price, but I know the price will still going to hit higher in the future.

Even though I don't believe that we should only make investments in Bitcoin, I agree that when it comes to the long term, Bitcoin is the only option that seems to be the safest because no matter how good some altcoins are, there are a lot of new projects with a lot of hype and functionalities and people are saying they are going to become successful but you never know, times change and so will the things around, but Bitcoin has proved itself worthy of the trust it gets from its investors.

So when someone thinks of a long-term investment opportunity, the first option that must come in their mind should be Bitcoin because it is trusted, it has a great value and it tends to regain its value even if it loses it sometimes which is a great thing and it is not found in every cryptocurrency.

I also think that the bull market is not over yet, its final bullrun phase awaits us, then Bitcoin will show growth and reach ATH. Why would anyone need to restrict themselves? They can have their own purpose and interests regarding Bitcoin and do whatever they want, it's not like just because some people are using Bitcoin for a different purpose it is going to become useless. Bitcoin will stay the way it is, it will keep gaining value if the demand increases and it will have the same utilities that it has today or had since the beginning, so it doesn't matter how and why one uses it.

People who understand Bitcoin and how it works and what it can do will surely use it for both profits and utilities because why not? Just have some Bitcoin that you will hold for long-term so that you can profit from its price and have some Bitcoin that you will use normally for purchases and payments, etc.
