In Your Country Who Gamble More? Young Ones or Elderly Ones

Do you see such elderly people in your country? Or is it only in Africa? Is the younger ones play gamble more than the elders?

It's also the same in my country but I don't have such data to say which is more and less but I'd only say that I see both in all ages that does gambles. A young ones or a young professional at the right age that becomes addicted in gambling and having problems on how they'd spend their money well and to keep themselves in intact budget. And the same goes for the elderly, they're professionals, have got a job and family but also, they're experiencing problems when there are times that they spend 1/4 to half and even full amount of their salaries.

In my opinion, I believe young gambler are more than the aged gamblers, that is if the age range for separating the young from the old is 50 year, then it's obvious we'll find more of the young ones gambling offline and online. Most of the old gamblers gamble more for fun sake and to relieve their self from stress and all of that, but majority of addiction gamblers are the young ones. From the house games I've been to the young who are desperate in making money without jobs usually get addicted. The old are usually assumed to be more experienced in making decisions than the young.

The only age limit in gambling is minor, apart from those that are below 18 years old any age can gamble and in my country very old men are gambling frequently just like young people. It is not only in Africa that old men are gambling but I think it is only in Africa that woman are the bread winner of the family while the men sit at home and do nothing but only to gamble and play games.

I do not think we have woman breadwinner more in Africa because it is the tradition in Africa for men to look for money while the woman takes care of the home in most African homes. In other parts of the world there could be equal rights between woman and men but in Africa men are seen as the more superior and no man will allow his home to be controlled by his wife by settling down at home without providing for the family. In Africa you men are the people that gamble more because they are looking for money to take care of their family as their is no job and a good source of getting money. You will not see anybody that is gambling in Africa just for fun unless you are looking between the very rich class of people.

I believe that there are both audiences, but in different micro-followings, the older ones tend to bet on lottery shops and Jogo do Bicho, while the younger ones either on sports betting or luck-based games like slots.

Influencers here are heavily promoting slot-based gambling and the trend is that we see more and more young people playing.

While the older public tends to physically go to lottery outlets to place their bets, young people tend to bet in online casinos.

Furthermore, the gambling sector is growing very strongly in the country.

In my own country, I don't know who I will say that gamble more because everyone wants to get more in anyway they can, so both young and old gamble.

They gamble to the extent of not knowing who gamble most, the young will want to gamble more, the old would want to show that they gamble more too, so I can't really dictate on who gamble most, although they believe that they can get rich through gambling and if they opportunite for them to win and get some money, that will encourage them to go and gamble more but whichever one that gamble most, my advice is that they should gamble responsibly so that it won't cause them any harm or damage.
