Yeah every body get their own Bitcoin investment goal. But still those investment goal still involved making profit and all that , but the Reason most people dey sell their investment base on emergency purposes, nah because say dem lack emergency funds wey dem supposed use tey cover expenses, wetting dey cause am most time nah wen person go over dey aggressive with his bitcoin accummulation, because  he or she wan make better profit in a short run , so dem go use those emergency funds tey invest still to get better stashes and e go lead to early or premature withdrawing. To me earn long-term accumulating and holding nah the best , because person go get time tey accumulate better stashes of Bitcoin. Because most of us here nah average earners and most time we dey get personal expenses to take care of , so we nor fit carry go all in with our earnings , so to dey buy small small quantities with DCAing nah just the best so that as we dey accumulate we go get cash to handle expenses.

Now back to your question, to me I don't think sey any best time dey to sell. Aslong sey you dun get better quantities stash of Bitcoin, you go fit withdraw anytime because by then you go dey good profit expecially when be sey u spread your purchasing with DCAing during your purchasing (as long-term holding) so as Bitcoin dun rise you go surely dey in nice profit and you go fit withdraw any time and you still dey profit , but still everybody get their own target.

Actually if we want talk about the general time wey dey good to sell coins, na the highest of bull run wey be say price don really hit the top and don enter overbought level, that time na im good to sell because the next thing wey go happen na dropping me so e better to cash out before dropping start to happen. But, because say e no easy to really know when the price go really begin fall, so every body suppose get their individual selling time wey be say dem think say it is nice for them them to jump out with their profit or sometimes self some people dey jump out without the profit because of fear. For me no time be the best time to sell. Bitcoin investment and selling time differs from people and their endurance limit. Some people na traders wey dey buy when price dip and sell when em rise. And the rise and fall fit be in daily basis. Some people dey buy during bearish season and sell during bull run. Some dey target to buy on DCA every week for as long dem know say dem fit buy, hoping to meet up to target of how many fraction of bitcoin dem fit buy and how long dem go fit HODL am before them sell am. Sum dey also by anytime the price dip as a form of lump-sum.  In conclusion no fixed time to sell. selling time depends on when you chose to sell wey E go suit your body. And mind you, no think say every advice dem dey give for this forum about 20 to 30 year na must. Because even me no fit HODL bitcoin reach that time wey JJG dey talk like that. We all know say E no dey possible for black man expecially we wey no get enough for our portfolio. Make we no dey follow wetting people dey talk about Investment come dey bother ourself. Some of this men dem wey dey advise us na multimillioner wey even if them say dem wan keep 10 bitcoin for portfolio for 30 years E no go worry them. For an investor who know what to do in seems more easy compared to other newly investors. From my thought, selling has no limit so anyone can decide to sell at anytime depending on their decision but it’s best an investor plan and set a goal or guide that can help cause the moment an investor don’t understand the basic ideas  about investing they’ll get confuse like the op used lack of emergency funds, reserve funds etc, this can cause an investor selling quickly when it’s not yet time so I will consider this as wrong and bad. Op, every business has their concepts, before we can talk about selling, we have to buy first and keep holding which is the main profitable way to follow in line with this business, as we already know premature sellers are seen as fast profit chasers and in Bitcoin this method is frowned at, bitcoin is a good asset to invest if only you understand how it works and how to follow up, though price at different stages can tempt an investor to withraw but one tbing is clear, bitcoin value remain the same no matter the market instabilty and volatility, the market instaiblity most times draws attention of individuals who has not been part of this investment.

I guess bull season is the best season, to sell to  make a good profits from your hodling because it will make the price of BTC to pump higher to make the price in circulation for the whole world to know that the season to accumulate profits has occur in the market.

Op this question na very simple to answer questions personally you know when to buy something and when to sell that thing again if you dey do business. Now selling of bitcoin does not mean say you must seel am at the all time high. It you can sell when you k ow say you don make profit. Example. If you buy day before yesterday and when bitcoin was $56k and you hodle it till today as bitcoin hit $62k and when you k ow that you doneke profit then you can sell it and take you profits.

Just like you have said, selling is based on individual option. I've seen cases were investor is seriously in need of money and he has a lot of crypto asset that can pay the bills but still determine to hold and he keep looking for alternative means to get the money. Personally, I believe say there is no perfect time for selling, No time dey perfect because it has to do with subjectivity or perception about the market or your needs.
