Now it seems to me that money is all there is to survive in the world. Since 2020, since family finances have worsened, it is slowly seeming like money is everything in this world. Where there is no money you will find nothing. There is a saying that many people say, money can never buy you happiness but to me this is the funniest saying. Because without money you can never get all the things you want for happiness. In every case in this world you must depend on money to survive. Now I have to force myself to believe that at the end of the day it seems impossible to run this world without money. Where you have to depend on money to do every job or take every step, from studying, there is no other way and at the end of the day it seems to me that studying where there is financial insecurity is also unusual or not worth it.  Because when you see that your father in your family has taken the responsibility of your entire family on his shoulders and it has become much more difficult for him to carry the responsibility of the family, then you will no longer want to do anything other than earning money, then only the sense of responsibility will work in your head. I don't know how accurate my words are but to me it seems right now in this situation.

Money is an asset, you can't live without money. Before the government issued USD, you can live without fiat since at that time assets were gold, garden, house etc. But after the government issued USD, people need to have fiat to live because it's the only currency that accepted by everyone.

That's probably because you haven't tried to live sustainably like growing your own garden where you can get all the stuff you need like food. If you actually know how to live in a farm, you can easily live out of the stuff that you maintain and grow there. Sure it might need money first but when things get going and you make it grow even more for yourself, you probably won't be able to rely too much on money anymore. So yes, in some way, money will never be all wealth, if you're talking emotionally, spiritually, there's more to things than just money to be called wealthy.

Money answer things to an extent but we have to really have capacity monetarily, lets be factual life without money sucks, this world is in another dimension, since covid happened the world economy has not been the same, people have been suffering from one financial problem to another, goods and service have skyrocketed in price, loss of jobs everywhere, people now survive by the grace of God, it has not been easy with most families,naturally you dont expect your dependant to continue to endure when they are not seeing any positive change, money comes with joy unless you have not tested money.
In this current world we have to up our games to grow financially if we really want to be relevant, let's figure out ways to be financially stable so that we won't be a burden to others.

I truly believe that consumerism has rotten all our brains. Yes we all need money but some of us consider having luxuries as happiness and that is not genuine happiness. The society and social media is making you think that you need this and that so you end up spending your money however if you really think about it… you do not need all those things and you just need to live a fulfilling life.

We live in a sophisticated and advanced era. Everything has changed, not that we lived in ancient times, as we know, they hunted to get food. The reason is that currently, if we want to buy something, we definitely need money. Money is just there to get you what you want.  Wealth is considered to be a positive ideas that can generate money for you. What you need to be wealthy is just have good ideas, when you have good ideas of how to generate money, even when you sleep doing nothing you make money from your ideas. I will not deny your statement because the facts are true. However, this is just a matter of each person's point of view in dealing with the portion of money in their life. I mean there are some basic differences because in this world there are poor and there are rich so the way they view money will also be different. Nowadays people aren't only looking to live and eat just to survive, but they're also want to buy something they like, going to vacation, buy branded stuffs, sport car, big house etc anything that they see on social medias.

If most people only looking for "survive", criminal rate and unemployment rate wouldn't rise.

I truly believe that consumerism has rotten all our brains. Yes we all need money but some of us consider having luxuries as happiness and that is not genuine happiness. The society and social media is making you think that you need this and that so you end up spending your money however if you really think about it… you do not need all those things and you just need to live a fulfilling life.

It's not our fault, we weren't taught a lot that we should question all the things that come to us, our teachers told us to follow the rules not question things, that's why we felt like it rotted our brain, consumerism isn't the root cause, it's the human nature of being greedy and trying to trick the people into buying the stuff that they sell for all of our soul. It's probably not our fault too that we've come this far but I've got something to tell you though, I do think that it's about time that we choose something and we need to deal with it soon enough. I agree about the fulfilling lifestyle but some greedy people would argue that there's more to life and sometimes those things are out of reach and that it's only possible to have that kind of life if you just follow their lifestyle or try to imitate them which doesn't happen most of the time.

But I want to ask you, if you didn't have money, would your family be happy ? Not to mention , how will you take care of and nurture your parents when you don't have much money ?

I guess you are referring to the pandemic situation that lead to financial problems in many families and unfortunately the reasons to that is multifactorial and all are not addressable at one point. You could say that poor financial planning for emergencies and lack of savings led to that problem as the major factors while not having a side earning and not being able to switch jobs could be other secondary factors.

However this does not mean that money is everything. It is the human emotion for each other that matters most and that is what is lacking among people. You need the money to spend, but those who were bound by their strong emotional bonding fought through like a team and survived through the pandemic and are flourishing today once again.

Money is not everything, it is undeniable it is a very useful tool as you can convert it into anything you want as long as you have enough of it, however money by itself is pretty useless, it is not until you convert it into something that you want or need in which it shows its true worth, your problem right now is that you do not have enough money to see beyond that, but if you were to reach that point, it will be easier for you to realize that those that claim that money cannot buy happiness are indeed correct.

Money is important, especially in more capitalistic and more urbanistic countries. But there are simple joys that people can get without it, such as nice weather, or depending on where you live, you might be able to go fishing or forage mushrooms without any permits.

You are right, and my question is whether I am stating that money is not everything. And what I am stating clearly is that money can make everything we want and need happen, including everything you mentioned.
And I just said that it doesn't mean that only money makes us rich or happy, health, a happy partner or family and so on, and what I mentioned is the valuable wealth and happiness that we must have besides money.
