I see that current youth is inspired by celebrities and influencers in big way. Did you also start investing in bitcoin because of some celebrity ? Or you know people who belong to that category ? Is it a wise decision to do so or we should do our own research for better results ?

Our own due diligence or research will always guarantee a better result, and this is because both celebrities and influencers all work for their own money, they get hired by some of this projects, paid heavily for them to talk about the project to their fans, sometimes, sometimes, some of this projects are scam, but the celebrity or influencer doesn't really give a damn about the legitimacy of the project as long as he or she has been paid.

And to answer the question more proper, I did not invest in bitcoin because of any celebrity, but there are some altcoins I've invested in in the past because some celebrity, top ones like Bow wow(a popular musician) was talking about the project on this x account, even partnered with the project, but at the end, this project was a scam, they raised money through ico and ran away, delivering nothing.

So, in investing on any project, (bitcoin aside now), we must learn to do and depend on our own research, and take responsibility of our own decision.

No but I know a lot of people who have been influenced because of a specific celebrity or rather a content creator in youtube. People like to idolize people and follow what they do just because they think that person is always all-knowing.

Of course it’s not a good thing to just invest without any research no matter where you heard that specific advice from. I see no problem with being influenced but it’ll be best if you had decided on your own.

Dont tend to make investment first before you would be doing some research because you would really be ending up likely on a disaster or simply losing up money or investment. It would be always best that you should really be making up some research first before you do make out investment decisions on which we know that it would really be always important that you should make out some research so that you would really be that come prepared for whatever possible risks that you might be able to encounter. Investing just because of some influencer or celebrities is never been that good not unless if you do make out some follow up research about a particular project then it would be just fine.

While ofcourse some may offer valuable information, Never blindly follow their recommendations. We've already witnessed many instances where individuals have lost loads of money by investing in cryptocurrencies endorsed by social media influencers and celebrities. It's very important to conduct thorough research on any coin they promote and make informed decisions, Always verify the details and rely on your own research before investing.

celebrities are also human so any advice we are taking from them it is at our own risk, because they are open to mistakes and can also fall victim of advertising projects that wont succeed so instead of putting your trust in a celebrity i would even ask you to do your own research and convince your self if you are to invest or not,  have seen celebrities advertise phones or even products they don't use them self's, and you see some project advertised by an influencer with all the hype at the end of the day the influencer might not even invest, just that they were used as public figure for the product and  you see people making comments like they are investing in the same project with there favorite celebrity, but it is a very bad idea to consider without doing our own background check.

All those people who invested due to Elon Musk never made sense to me at all, dude is rich that is true but just because he made some good decisions in the business world doesn't mean that he is going to be able to get you rich as well. If you really want to get rich thanks to him, invest into his companies and maybe if you are right about him then he will make the company grow bigger and you will be able to make a lot more money thanks to that.

However, if we look at the crypto world then he has nothing different about predicting price of a coin more than you or me, he is just making stuff up and hopes it sticks. Honestly, I once heard the phrase 'don't find idols for yourself' and after that I never made any decisions based on the actions of any celebrities or stars. There are so many examples of stars who advertise outright trash or invest in the air. Perhaps the worst thing you can do is to believe some star on the screen and invest blindly, without a clear analysis of the product.(IMHO)

Celebrities and influencers have their jobs to convince people, and you simply grant them.

You're absolutely right is good to get information in the media, the media itself is a means of sharing information to different countries but sometimes the information we get from the madia can be wrong that is why is very important to make research after getting any information from the media, maybe it might be the wrong information or the right one. However when I was not familiar with this crypto investment I see a lot of people in social media testifying on how they made huge amount of money from crypto trading, since I'm not familiar with crypto trading so I decided to conduct a deep research about how crypto trading works, so on the contrary a friend of my also introduce me to this platform then that's when I started learning about how crypto trading works.

it doesn't matter if you started investing in Bitcoin because of the information you got from a celebrity and surely, we have them all around all the social media platforms running ads and encouraging people to go into somany investment platform which have helped some and have been very detrimental to others but if the investment option that you got from the supposed celebrity is regarding Bitcoin, then it's good but for me, i didn't get into Bitcoin investments because of the information I got from a celebrity and I don't even take those dudes seriously because most of them are just doing the advert based on the fact that they've been paid already to do so and whatever you're getting from them is not a financial advice as they themselves aren't even involved In those platforms.

I think that it is foolish to invest in Bitcoin just because someone said they thought it was a good idea. This isn’t about Bitcoin. It’s about investments and risks in general. We’re talking about a possibility of losing money and you can’t do that on someone’s believe. I really agree with you, when it comes to money, of course we have to be able to make our own decisions and don't let other people make us lose our money when following other people's advice and it would be better for us to do this first before deciding to invest so as not to make us lose. the funds we have for the investments we make, doing personal research really helps us to be able to give us a good understanding of what we are going to do because without understanding we will not differentiate between what is right or wrong.

This is the main thing to watch out on celebrities especially when it circles around Finance, before the actual truth spread this far that you may now see some of them speaking truth about bitcoin, most of their publicity was monetize probably advertising an exchange or something else they would be paid for.
