~snip~
Gaming is a society symptom, not only some personal shortcoming. We enjoy the adrenaline, the danger, the dopamine surge. It's primal. Still, blaming the gambler is like accusing the addict without considering the dealer. We have to become real. There is always going to be gambling. So, instead of demonizing it, let's use it. Though it's a tough teacher, it may teach us a lot about ourselves: our greed, our desperation, our hope against all chances

One of the most important is education. Not simply "don't gamble", but "learn the game". Share with others probability, risk, and the house always wins over long run. Provide them tools to control their impulses; do not only criticize them for having them. This is about control rather than about quitting gambling. It's about realizing that life itself is the actual bet. Everybody runs a risk and follows aspirations. Let us ensure we are doing it with our eyes open

At the end of the day gambling is a personal problem.

If a gambler is by themselves in an island with a phone connected to the internet they can also gamble all their money away.

It's not a social problem like, say, bullying, or something else like that.

I am not so sure. After all, no person exists on his own, we all have social connections. And when a person has problems with gambling, they do not only affect him personally. They affect his family and friends, they have impact on his attitude to work, and therefore create problems for his colleagues. So the impact is much stronger and extends far beyond the life of one particular gambler.

There is no reason to say that Gambling is bad for society even it may contribute to being affected nationally. Gambling not only affects the people who are gambling and as it is related to money it affects the members of the family, friends, relatives, and later on the nearest people, and in this way, it affects the whole of society.

The only bad thing on here is on the moment or time that a certain individual would really be doing things like too much engagement on which it would really be that resulting into addiction.

On the moment that this one happens then this is the time where gambling could affect out negatively on someones financial life or status. This is why everything cant really be just
be blamed out on the casinos or generally on gambling because it is really that basing up on someones doing. It is really just that gambling would really be taking up the blame
everytime that we are seeing that someone is really that messed up their life because of it. This is why we shouldnt really be that making conclusions based up on that.

At the end of the day gambling is a personal problem.

If a gambler is by themselves in an island with a phone connected to the internet they can also gamble all their money away.

It's not a social problem like, say, bullying, or something else like that.
I also agree with you, but one thing too is that someone did not just wake up and start gambling one day; sometimes the environment they find themselves in can also influence their involvement in gambling.

If someone starts and grows up where they don't come across any form of gambling activity, there is a great possibility that they might not pick up an interest in gambling in their life. Even if they see such things online, only a few will pick up an interest and decide to try them out.
