I don't think any meme coin is capable of doing that even Doge cannot, all meme coins have the same model they are created for pump and dump there is no use case and if not for Elon Musk we are not talking about the meme here, even Ethereum which offer a lot of utility cannot take the place of Bitcoin, so what will be the possible feature that can make them challenge Bitcoin.

The only reason why memes are trending is because so many investors are greedy for quick profit which these meme coins are good at, The meme trend will finally be over but Bitcoin will remain as it is.

I think he is more of asking from the profit pont of view as we all know that some meme coins have given people even 100x on their investments but from a very long times BTC has not been able to do so. Yes it's a very stable coin and it offers you great opportunities to invest but it's for long term investments.

If we talk about shor term investment than yes meme coins have better performance. They can give you some quick profits but you have to be very careful with your choice.

I highly doubt. Most of the memecoins, if not all, are having no utility which is already a negative trait. A token's utility is the one to resist market price volatility and without it, the market value of a coin will just be carried by hype and manipulation from big investors, which is a downside in the long run and could be a reason why a coin wouldn't have long term progress and development. Unlike with Bitcoin which have proven itself for years already. Many projects are running on its chain creating a sustainable market price but subjected for increase over the years as its community continues to grow.

If you had said - altcoin, I would have said “maybe” but since you are referring specifically at meme coins then there’s no way that they will be able to surpass bitcoin, most people only invest in meme coin for short period of time due to their volatility and they take profit immediately and if you check majority of them - after launch and that launch hype has died off they tend to remain bearish and not go up again.

No one takes meme coin serious, the one ones that are known to so many investors are Doge, shibainu and Pepe most people haven’t heard about the rest.

Even for a potential alt like we have nowadays, there is none of them who reach even the middle of BTC and they are already given enough time to do that task. Will there be a change? If what you are asking is if any memecoin will rise to challenge bitcoin in terms of marketcap, then I personally will say that is not possible, maybe it will be possible in the future but it's not in this generation.
For any memecoin (no matter how big) to challenge bitcoin in market cap, bitcoin will first have to collapse, and we all know what will happen if bitcoin collapsed, it being the major force controlling the entire crypto market, will definitely make the entire market collapse as well, then maybe after that, a meme coin may rise to become the crypto market leader.

This is the only way it can happens, else, it's not possible for meme coin to challenge bitcoin.

A memecoin surpassing bitcoin in its current form will be impossible. Nope, also think that it wouldn't be able to challenge Bitcoin or be near it even in the future.
For me meme coins are initially created for fun, nothing serious that is how I see it, and it is just being used to pump and dump(most of shitcoins actually).
I also think if Elon didn't get into crypto DOGE and other meme coins wouldn't really be much or make a real big noise in crypto space.
