Is it possible that some meme coin might challenge bitcoin in future ? Why or why not ? I personally feel that though we may see some mem coin making it really big but it will never be at the level to challenge bitcoin.

But am going to answer you anyway, concerning your question why meme coin can't challenge Bitcoin in terms of market cap and coin value is very simple, Bitcoin has a very strong fundamental that meme coin don't have, and besides, meme coin is mostly created for gambling purpose, not an asset to keep, it's an asset that can make you rich overnight no doubt, but can also liquidate your hard earned money overnight, and the percentage of you making something out of it is like 5% to 95%, so that is why is more like gambling, but with Bitcoin, your asset is more secure, because Bitcoin has the capacity to always rally back to it previous height and even better, anytime their is a sudden dip in price unlike meme coin that falls more than they rise.
