It would be an interesting match if the UCL final could bring together Real Madrid and Manchester City because there is title fight that really brings together many great young players from each team, but this is indeed difficult to make happen.

I think it is still quite early to conclude that a team's performance is in a worse direction because the team you mentioned could make a breakthrough again next season, although I am also not sure that Borussia Dortmund will reach the Champions League final again. Borussia Dortmund which is having business model on basis of having young players and sell them after development can't comparable with top sides in Europe which are doing amazing stuff for the years and having good success as well.

I would say that all teams must have the Dortmund model. It is right to give space to young people who then turn out to be strong and competitive. Then let's say that those who work as talent scouts at Dortmund know how to do their job well. Look at all the young people they have found and launched in the field. world of great football, Halland Bellingham etc.. I must say that even in Italy they should adopt this policy given that there are many strong young people, look at Camandra

If those two teams qualify for the champions league then their is going to be a problem because knowing who is going to win is going to be difficult because both clubs have experience and no matter the experience one have to emerge has winners they met the previous season Manchester City defeated Madrid during semi final by and Madrid did a revenge on us.  I have a feeling that this season is going to be different. And if they face each other again it won’t go well but it will be entertaining because the two clubs are good and I won’t argue much because if you look at the whole thing. Anyone that wins I won’t mind because I love Real Madrid for Spain and my main club is Manchester and they will continue to be my love. I love when two good clubs meet their is a way the game gives  the fans enough joy just everyone will want their club to win.

There were two great matches between the two last year, but even though City played very well, they couldn't get through the rounds.
