Perfect performance by Arsenal and yet another mediocre match for Real Madrid. This season is destined to be a failure for the Spanish team, despite Madrid having a small chance to win La Liga. It's obvious that something is missing in their team. Maybe they need new midfielders or a new central striker. Mbappe can't turn into the goal machine everyone was expecting. Maybe Ancelotti is totally wasted as a manager of this great team. Arsenal and PSG are my favorites for winning the UEFA champions League. I can't imagine Bayern or Barcelona being able to beat Arsenal or PSG at the semi-finals or at the final.

Ancelotti made a mistake when he decided to play defensively, he should have played a more equal game with Arsenal, but in this way Arsenal got a lot of space. I was also surprised that Real couldn't score, they had good attacks but Raya played great. And of course it's worth mentioning Raya who scored two incredibly beautiful goals, it was his evening, after that Real couldn't do anything, and they still managed to concede a third goal. Now it will be very difficult to correct this situation at home.

I think you meant to say Rice and not Raya cause Raya is Arsenal's goalkeeper, anyways you're right, Declan Rice was very outstanding his freekick goals were spectacular and he merited all the praises he's receiving from the outcome of the match, I'm really shocked that despite lacking a quality attackers Arsenal outplayed a scary Realmadrid squad and scored 3 goals without any reply, they did great and I'll also acknowledge Mikel Arteta cause he's the brain behind their success in the Champions league so far in this season.

I think Ancelotti is right, football has it's own magic moments and anything is possible, but the Madrid players have to be very optimistic about winning in the 2nd leg, they showed lots of weakness and Arsenal seized that opportunity, that's the price a team pays for giving their opponent a weak spot to prey on, this defeat would teach them a lesson, I can't wait to see the magic they want to do in the 2nd leg.

I never saw 3:0 coming against Real Madrid. The second half was the worst performance I seen real Madrid played in a long time. As I was watching the match, I was thinking if this was really the real Madrid team that has been winning champions league in years. Like nothing was working for the team, they were not showing up. Arsenal locked everywhere. Arsenal beat my expectations yesterday, I was really against them and I was disgraced. I didn't even know when I started clapping for Arsenal after Merino scored that third goal.

There outplay in that match was extremely morethan expected, yes you're right, depending on only one man to do magic becomes a joke of the century but, the truth is Real Madrid manager needs to get the team working very well by adding extra new striker just as you said and a defensive midfielder, I have to say that the gunners were determined to win that match, it has been awhile I see arsenal play football with such zeal, arsenal scoring 3goals in that match before realmadrid got a red card in the die minute is a sign that they were actually prepared for that match, statically arsenal had 11shots on target against Realmadrid that got just 2, Declan Rice was the man that rapped it all, what a good free kicks.

Nice results for inter Milan going to the alinze arena of all places to get this result is something that should be commended but personally speaking I was not surprised about this result because bayern munich has not been convincing and that fantastic even in the bundesliga because watching them you will see that bayern is missing out on quality this is not the bayern that we have known because they struggle to get results against even small teams yes it's true that they are winning but am not quite convinced about their play pattern, bayern missed alot of chances in the game but for inter Milan they came and executed what they have in mind so they have eyes on the semi finals because going home in the second leg they will be more relaxed in the second leg

Before the start of this game I was very confident in the abilities of inter Milan, I never saw it as an easy game for Bayern Munich because inter Milan is actually a force in European football Currently, so am not that surprised by the final outcome of this game because Bayern Munich was just doing much of the playing but their attack was really wasteful, and we all know that in football the most important statistics in a game is the number of goals scored, though I may be wrong, but if Bayern Munich remain as wasteful as they are in the second leg of this encounter, they will be going home, because they defense is not that good enough that inter Milan wouldn't have a goal again.
I am certain that inter Milan will still score them again in the reverse fixture because their defense is very porous when compared to that of inter Milan, but nothing should be ruled out completely because anything can still happen, but as at now, I see more of inter Milan progressing than Bayern Munich progressing to the next round of the competition.

Among all the matches played in champions league this season yesterday match between Arsenal and Real Madrid was really a big surprise for me and also for many gamblers around the world. The masterclass from Arsenal yesterday was perfect, they didn't give Real Madrid any chance. Looked like Arsenal has been preparing for this match alone ever since the draw was made. I noticed that Madrid just came very casually like they had concluded that they were just coming to pick up points and finish the job in the second leg. But what they saw was really out of their expectations and it made them ran out of ideas on what to play. Well we have seen great come backs in football history and I wouldn't be surprised to see another one in the return leg. But if Arsenal can just maintain near perfect of what they did yesterday, I doubt if Real Madrid can overturn this first leg result. I know Madrid are going to win in their home, but I don't see them winning Arsenal with 3 goals without Arsenal scoring. I strongly believe it's end of the road for Real Madrid this season.

I was telling someone yesterday while watching the game that Inter will be one difficult team to win in this quarter final. All hope were on Bayern Munich because i predicted them to win and included the game to my bet slip. Unfortunately, the reverse was the case but that is not a problem since there will be a second leg which is going to decide which team will qualify for the semifinal.

If Inter finally succeed in eliminating Bayern after the second leg they will face Barcelona. Well i will have to wait to see if Barcelona can successfully defeat Borussia Dortmund before making my conclusions.

Real Madrid has been used to other strategies but this one was like a power horse for them because the strategy made Arsenal to be spreading around for them and when they thought they had pin down the source another linkage open, so for all the club real Madrid has meet during this face they have not encounter such like Arsenal, actually there is nothing will make Arteta not use this again for the real Madrid next much because even real Madrid might draft another one to over ride it, it may not deflect Arsenal. Declan Rice has suddenly become the best free kick player for Arsenal because the extent at which those free kick was resulting to goals no players has done it for Arsenal this champions League. The mistake Bayern Munich made was to allow inter Milan to win them in there own home because inter Milan has a strong defense and considering the fact that they will be going inter Milan home to play them, I doubt if Bayern Munich still stand a chance to qualify for the champions league but if they do, that will be a luck. And the same mistake Real Madrid made yesterday though I wouldn't call Real Madrid own a mistake because Real Madrid haven't win Arsenal before at Emirates stadium so I was not surprised but the goal difference was kinda much but anything that makes Real Madrid win Arsenal 3:0 then Arsenal is gone.
