The scores of both matches are surprising. Many sports pundits predicted that it would be an easy win for both Barcelona and PSG. But the reverse is the case because both of these favorites are struggling to even get a draw. From the look of things, PSG might end up losing their goal advantage if Aston Villa keeps pressuring them. As for Borussia Dortmund, I doubt if they will be able to score more goals. Like I said before, it is not over until the final whistle is blown.

The game is now over without additional goals making PSG to advance to the next stage. Aston Villa were very unlucky to be eliminated despite their hard fight as PSG took advantage of the aggregate score. I must admit that Aston Villa gave their all but it wasn't enough to see them through to the next stage. However, they played excellently and I'm impressed that they even score three goals. PSG should be grateful to their goal keeper for keeping them in the game with his extraordinary saves. Including myself, majority of people did not expect Aston Villa to give PSG the kind of performance they put up this evening.

Dortmund would have had the opportunity to qualify if they hadn't gone to far behind in the first leg. 4 - 0 is a very big margin to overturn that I knew very well especially against Barcelona. But if Dortmund had been clinical in the first half, it would have been different.

Don't you think you are praising them much and still didn't make it to the semi final. I think Barcelona could have play Dortmund way better than they did but considering some factors like they played in their home and there is aggression of trying to make back the goals just to make it But Barcelona wouldn't allow them to do that. Not only that, I think Barcelona team reserve more of their energy defending the entire match perhaps for some other matches later.

Come on, you don’t have to take it out on them like that. They know what league they are supposed to be playing at and can’t really believe they’ve endured the champions league so far.

Still, it was a good game from them today, they gave it well enough of what they’ve got, almost got through you know. I don’t think we did see this coming from Aston Villa. So many missed chances is what sold them off today, from 2 goals deficit to 1, scoring 3 goals before PSG could even know it. Conceiving first in today’s fixture was one of their worst mistake.

I think Aston Villa deserve a lot of respect for today's game. They didn't qualify, they were losing 0-2 (1-5 on aggregate), but they quit - they did not. They scored 3 goals in the space of 23 minutes and caused some panic to PSG and their fans. They had a great chance to score another one and move the game to extra time, but it just wasn't meant to be. I think their fans will be pleased with them regardless.

I haven't seen Dortmund Vs Barcelona, I'm waiting for some decent highlights to be published. Has anyone watched it? Was Dortmund that good or Barcelona that bad? Or did Barcelona go easy on Borussia?

As expected, Barcelona and PSG both lost the second leg but both progressed to the next round thanks to a superior aggregate. Barcelona's performance today was a complete departure from the first leg and the other games, so that was a bit disappointing for some football fans. I don't know, they probably thought they were safe without having to work hard to score more goals, but conceding 3 goals from the same player is quite embarrassing.

Aston Villa and Dortmund won their home games, it was a win that was probably expected. I am sure there are many punters who managed to win they bets today because they picked Dortmund and Aston Villa to win, it is interesting if they pick both teams for a multi bet.

What a Champions League night; this competition remains the best in the entire Europe, it is always entertaining and interesting to watch.

I expected Barcelona to defeat Dortmund home and away, but Barcelona end up qualifying by aggregate which is interesting. I also expected PSG to win today’s match to make it home and away winning since Aston Villa lost at PSG’s home, but PSG end up losing to Aston Villa, but they are lucky to scored the two early goals in the game if not they could have been eliminated by now.

Nevertheless, the most interesting show will be tomorrow, Arsenal needs to show some class because Real Madrid fans and players have confidence over them.

Aston Villa fought a good fight but they were rather late to the party. I blame Villa's defenders because if they weren't careless to concede 2 goals in the first half, the match could have probably ended in 3:0 and Aston Villa advance to the next stage. However, regardless that Aston Villa are out of the Champions League games, i applaud their bravery to reach this far because when they qualified for the Champions League games after finishing in the top four position last season, they were seen as mediocre team that won't go far in the Champion League game but they became so formidable since the Champions League games started till today they have been knocked out by PSG. Am also happy they won despite that the odds of the bookies didn't favor them to win but they have proven that even when the odds are against them they still manage to make their way through and won the game despite losing out on aggregate score.

Aston Villa could not have kept a clean sheet against a good scoring side as PSG although Villa did everything they could but luck is another thing that wasn't on their side and I some how blame Emery because when he saw the force Marcus Rashford was bringing to the team to get more goals he could have left him to be on the pitch and take off Rogers instead, they are getting into the game and PSG are now feeling the heat and he took off the England forward which to me I don't think it was a good idea.
At least Aston Villa played to this stage of the champions league, at some point before the beginning of this campaign I thought they wouldn't make it this far but their performance wasn't what we expected, they surprised everybody including the fans, it was a good fight. PSG should be mindful of how they underrate their opponent if not it will be the end of their struggle to get to the finals.

I think it's Arsenal and Inter Milan would still be the one qualifying but not winning the second leg but I expect them to be more cautious after how tonight game went, Aston Villa and Dortmund, fought to get levelled from their conceded goals in the first leg but unfortunately couldn't. In the second half they must destroy and overwhelm , That is the least they can and should do There are no excuses, The player who gets the most cramped and is very tired and can't handle anything will be substituted, but tomorrow they have to go out with everything they have However, Florentino had a meeting and said that the player who scores goals will get an additional 30 thousand US.

But are you not tired of seeing Real Madrid win the Champions League? How about another team win it for a change? Real Madrid's elimination at this stage will add excitement and unpredictability to the competition, something the competition desperately needs.

Such ‘unreal’ was done by Barcelona a few years ago in the match with PSG, but then there were other rules, away goals were taken into account, but it doesn't change the essence. Seeing how interesting today's match is, there is a good hope for tomorrow's match especially when the giants who will compete are the big clubs of the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A elbowing each other for 2 other slots to the semi-finals.

Today's match indicates that anyone can still fight for a place in the semi-finals even if they are already behind on aggregate because it does not rule out the possibility of a comeback always happening even though in today's match both Dortmund and Aston Villa failed to do so but with the number of goals produced in the second leg this time there is certainly a hope for Madrid in tomorrow's match to do the same.
Inter and Bayern are still quite dominant and their aggregates are quite small so it could be a bit of a toss-up between Arsenal and Madrid. Because after all, although surprises can happen, for the Arsenal and Madrid match tomorrow, Arsenal are definitely the favorites to qualify even though they play at the Bernabeu.

Aston Villa came into the game with much energy and started attacking from the very kick off. PSG was on the path to rest the game and gain some control which they did when Hakimi scored that first goal that deflected from the goalkeeper’s feet. Aston Villa was determined and tried to be out a little more and then conceived a second goal. I think that’s where PSG got them right where they wanted them.

The team game afterwards went on a little slow pace but still, they hand to come out as they haven’t got a chance sitting back. Got their first break with Tielemans in the first half, should they have managed to get at least 2 goals in first half, they could have made out with something in this game. They got their second and third in the second half but all that and it wasn’t enough to get them equal on an aggregate. The first leg was where settled the scores.

And it seems that many are quite optimistic about seeing Real Madrid recover in the second leg. And I probably hope so too. At least I also see that it is possible that Real Madrid will win the second leg. I wonder if Arsenal will just stand watching all this happen within a short period of time, everyone has been discussing about the second leg and it’s quite understandable people make their prediction depending on their favorite team but, it’s too late making such prediction. If Real Madrid should perform better we’ll know meanwhile at the other hand the injuries recorded from Arsenal sounds discouraging, aside favoritism Arsenal has a better chance winning compared to Madrid.

Real Madrid will always be the best competitive club in the UEFA Champions League because there's zero presence of competition for them. But coming to the recent lights, things have changed and we now know how to tag along especially when the odds are small..Ofcourse I'm tired to watching Real Madrid lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy but what can we do? We're only team supporters and will absolutely dinner have nothing to do with the players. Paris Saint-Germain have been eliminated tougher tournaments and will do everything to maintain consistency in games.

They actually played well and prepared for the game quite well but unfortunately they conceded too many goals in the first leg and it was easy for Barcelona to defend their lead. It was quite a good game for Dortmund I don't know if playing at home is the reason but they did well and I can't say the same for Barcelona. A lot of Barcelona players struggled today, Yamal and Raphinha were not at their best and I believe that was the main reason why the entire team struggled.

Their is no excuse for Barca's loss, Dortmund playing at home is not an excuse for Barca to lose the game or did they expect Dortmund to play bad at their home stadium? No I expected a challenge but I didn't expect Barca to be this weak. No one expected Dortmund to win the game to qualify but they did well to at least win the match and that's what impressed me because Barca have been in top form lately and a struggling Dortmund was able to win against them in full game time.

In all of what has been happening in the Champions League, there is no other teams that has show off like Real Madrid, their PR is up there with all the players making motivational tweets to represent the club tomorrow but Arteta as said they have nothing to say that they are  going to meet in the pitch. That's the best and mature response from Arteta because he is confidence in what his boys are going to deliver tomorrow, home and away is going t be secured.

4 goals is a lot, Real Madrid has done it before but does that really means that in every season they made mistake from their own failure, they have the opportunity to get away with it. I don't think so, they will score that I'm expecting tomorrow and Arsenal will score tomorrow as well, the total goal scored on this second leg will change but Real Madrid wouldn't get away this time, a lesson will be learnt and that is, don't look down on any team especially club like Arsenal, just because they have never been there doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to do it.
