we know that mbappe is going to do all he can to be at the top; he already knows the kind of club that is coming to where the competition is high; he has to prove himself because they won't really care about all the achievements he has gotten from psg. You are correct even before Cristiano Ronaldo came to Real Madrid as the Real Madrid team was already doing better but Cristiano Ronaldo came in to be an added advantage to the team. There are always surprises in the UCL, but statistically the players Madrid have are very strong and may even be scary for other teams. I agree 100%. Truthfully I think Real Madrid already care about the CL and La Liga at the same level. They have been the most dominant team in the CL for years. This is an example of how much they care about it. 

Especially after Mbappe signing I just can't imagine not seeing the CL as their priority.    It is more difficult to stop them here from now on in the end. Manchester City are the team with the highest chance to do that for now I think. Bayern Munich can also be added to the list when we find out what Kompany will do.
