The new feature in the champions league makes it more intriguing to watch. We always wanted a comptition where no team feels inferior over the other and have that fear of now making it far, I think this new method has been able to curb that and we won’t see much of that in the next season’s champions league. I have great concern for the smaller teams still, they always not have that zeal or consistency or the energy to hold on to pressure for that long and this new method requires all that. All teams that will be participating in the champions league should have a rethink of that and work on towards achieving what they need most in this competition and not lag behind when the top teams are trying to make themselves available for the next round of the competition.

By the way, there is no guarantee Real Madrid will beat Atalanta. However, I can agree that Real Madrid is very possible to win their first trophy with Mbappe. Sparta praha only drew against FCSB and actually this was never expected before. Even though Sparta praha was so favored with quite small odds in the first leg, they had enough difficulty facing a dark horse team like FCSB at home and had to target a win in the second leg if they didn't want to be eliminated from the qualifying round.

In addition, Salzburg managed to secure a win at home after beating Twente with a score of 2-1 and I think it's only natural that they can get that result without difficulty. Salzburg dominated with 68% possession of the ball and while the away team could only maintain 32%. Kjaergaard's brace led Salzburg to lock the aggregate difference in the first leg and Twente managed to get a consolation goal in the final minutes through Vlap's goal. However, I think this match will still be exciting considering the narrow goal difference and in the second leg Twente will be very favored as the host.

I will be expecting some of these teams I mentioned to do better than Manchester City and Madrid in the coming Champions League next season; I never counted Madrid and Manchester City out of the favorites, but I will be happy if any of these teams win the champions League next season.

I agree about only Leverkusen and Inter. Especially if Leverkusen maintain their performance this season also, they are a surprise candidate for the trophy I think.    For Inter, I can say they were wonderful in the Serie A last season. I don't really know the reason why we keep including Manchester City as the big guys in the Champions League because going by their Champions League history, they don't even deserve any praises because they have just won it once. If we should be talking about teams that have good Champions League records then we should be talking about those teams that have won it more than once and not always putting Manchester City it the picture.

I know that Manchester City have been in a very good form and performance both in their domestic leagues and in the Champions League but yet they haven't achieved many Champions League trophies as Real Madrid did so until they are able to win many champions league trophies then we can see them as one of the major contenders of the champions league but for now, regardless of how formidable the team is they are no different from the other teams that have won the Champions League once and above so they shouldn't be hyped so much.

For now Real Madrid have no competitors in the champions league because before any team can be considered as a major competitor with Madrid then let them match up to Real Madrid's champions league record or even break their record which might not be possible in the next 10 years because the only team after Real Madrid in the Champions League is AC Milan as they've won the Champions League on record 7 times and they have not been in their best performance to be considered to win the champions league yet, even in 10 years they can't match Real Madrid's Record talk more of Manchester City that just have one champions league trophy to their name.

I think what you said is enough to give a good direction to understand that this season every team has to be able to be smart, tough and can handle every pressure that comes because of the congested schedule to compete. And I think that will certainly have an impact on the big teams who used to dominate the Champions League, because they also have to change some of their old strategies to new ones with the new format in the Champions League so that they don’t get beaten by smaller teams who are less experienced in the Champions League.

However, their players always maintain their consistency, and their coach always tries to see that all their matches end with good results. This is true. It is no longer about who is the best. If they manage to maintain consistent performance and overcome various challenges despite facing a storm of injuries, then the chance to defend the title specifically for Real Madrid will be obtained again.
The pattern has changed and this will not be difficult for strong teams like Real Madrid and Manchester City. I did not include the names of teams like Bayern Munich and PSG because they still can't do much with the old format.

The new format of the UEFA Champions League is definitely going to affect the big teams but even in the face of chaos, I still expect the bigger teams to dominate the competition like they've been doing over the years. A careful study of the competition will tell you that it's always be won by the best performing teams in each of the seasons so even if we're going to have a new winner, i think it's going to be one of the best teams in in the competition in recent years. Personally, I think Real Madrid stands a better chance of winning the European Cup next season ahead of others.

Taking turns as how?? Manchester City only won it once and you are making it sound as if they both have been winning it for a long time. Madrid have been the only consistent team winning the Champions League and so they are still the favorite to win it, they look more stronger than last season and every other team especially Manchester City didn’t add much to their squad.

I think what you said is enough to give a good direction to understand that this season every team has to be able to be smart, tough and can handle every pressure that comes because of the congested schedule to compete. Of the 189 scheduled matches, there will certainly be many surprises to watch, the most interesting in my opinion is the League phase which we previously knew as the group phase. In the League phase, each team will face 8 different opponents, so that's where the most surprises are likely to occur. Talking about pressure, every contestant will feel it, because they all have to adapt to new regulations that are different from before. Real Madrid and Manchester City are considered dominant because they have more complete attributes, they have the potential to advance more easily than other competitors. This is comparable to the budget spent to build the best starting XI, which not all clubs are able to do. However, opportunities remain open for every team, because success is not determined by squad depth alone.

The Real Madrid is currently enjoying their glory time in the history of Champions League competition since after that Zinedine Zidane broke that record of wining the champions league trophy back to back which no other team has ever done since its history, well it a matter of time, I believe we will still have another team that will spring up in the future and Madrid won't even be able to stand them. if you could from the season of 2008 down to 2013 season, Real Madrid was out of the picture and had no place but Manchester united and Barcelona became dominant team in the Champions League as of that time ,but today the story has changed. Real Madrid won't become the champions league king forever.

I have to say they deserve it, they played well and intelligently, who can blame them. Nobody. They were quite astute in managing the turnover and being able to complete the UEFA Champions League and then dedicate themselves to the local competition: La Liga. It is no coincidence that Carlo Ancelotti has been in the role of coach for many years.

The new format will make the Championship league much more exciting. It will really be like a league in this format and even 1 point will be vital for the teams. I liked this new format but yes, the small teams had a chance to get out of the groups of four but the chances are quite low in the matches that will be played in a league system. Still, it is certain that we will see enjoyable matches. I am excitedly waiting for the new format
