Young Boys is a team that often plays in the Champions League. Last season they failed in the group stage. Galatasaray who were the favorites over young boys couldn't do much in that match, even though they fielded their best squad when facing young boys but they perform  didnt optimally when facing the first leg match, the young boys who played at home actually played quite impressively, even without waiting long they was able to score a goal in the 4th minute and made the mentality of the Galatasaray players immediately drop,  and even when the first half of the match was almost over they were able to increase the score to lead 2-0 over Galatasaray in the first half, when Galatasaray have Batshuayi for some reason the okan buruk didn't played him with Icardi from the start of the match and actually played him as a substitute in that match, but fortunately Galatasaray was able to score two goals in that match and reduced the score to 2-3.

Disappointed by the performance displayed by Galatasaray today. Defeat and also a red card. I know it is only the first leg and they are not out of the game yet but the chances of them getting out are pretty real. After their match against Konyaspor where their performance was mediocre, I knew they would be facing some problems against Young Boys. But I did not think they would lose though. I told at that time that they would be suffering if they kept up their mediocre performance that they did against Konyaspor.

The 2nd leg still remains and so does my opinion. If they keep up their mediocre performance like today’s they are going to be out of the Uefa Champions League. Galatasaray is a big sporting team and I don’t think they should be having problems conceding early. They need to have the fighting back mentality like Real Madrid, which they clearly lacked. Although they were able to come back into the game, they were defeated.

Bodo/Glimt managed to defeat Red Star at home. The hosts didn't even show the ball to their opponents in the first half and increased the pressure at the beginning of the second half and increased the difference to 2 goals in 16 minutes. To be honest I didn't expect Karabakh to lose, they surprised me and the action of the match was in the second half. Both teams had many chances but the home team was more successful in taking advantage of them.

Bodø/Glimt football team played well in this match and remained dominant in the whole match. Bjørtuft did first goal for his team and he did goal at the 52 minutes of the match and after that Dybvik Määttä did second goal for his team and he did goal at 62 minutes after starting the match. The shots of that team were more in number and their striking capability was good and more shots were on target . The possession percentage was also good and they held the football for the most of time. The passes of that teams were double as comparison to opponent team and overall team performance was also good and they won the match due to great performance.

Young Boys shocked Galatasaray right out of the gate. Early on, falling 2-0? That is not an easy thing to accept. But hey, credit to Galatasaray for fighting back. Though its not perfect, 2-3 is far better than being blasted away. Now, lets talk strategy. Though I admire Okan , benching Batshuayi bothers me. That had me scratching my head. You have Icardi's deadly instinct and Batshuayi's intensity. Why not start them straight forwardly? Could have fundamentally altered the game's complexion.

Still, look; its not over yet. Istanbul awaits. That crowd is gonna be LOUD. In soccer, home field advantage is really significant; Galatasaray must make use of every bit of it. Thus, start with your best XI. Batshuayi, Icardi, lets go. This tie ends only when it ends. Remember in soccer that decisions taken off the field define the game more than just the players on it.

Galatasaray definitely disappointed me a lot, I lost a parlay because of them, looked like it was an easy win for them on paper, definitely not something I expected at all, sad to see this.

In the end, it is champions league and getting in isn't easy, all of these teams look to get in. Remember Young Boys have been doing TERRIBLE all season long but it's been like maybe a month or so since it started, whereas they have been champions last season, which means that they are normally not a bad team, they are a great team that had just a bad period that's it.

This is why I honestly expect them to be a good team, it's just that they are not on a momentum and I believe that we are going to see them play worse at Galatasaray.

I feel like Galatasaray with home court advantage and real grass, will have a much better chance and the results will definitely be much better for them without a doubt, they have the talent and the squad to destroy young boys, but if they fail then that would be because their individual talents are greater but their team chemistry isn't. All game long we saw the difference between talented players vs being a team, and being a team managed to beat the talented players 3-2.

It's very disappointing how Galatasaray was ruined by the ref for the penalty which is hitting the leg first. And i think this time the handball decision is based on the vibes now. I hope they're removing this trash rule as soon as possible. This is because it gave no certainty to the clearance of handball.

Also, the decision to give a second yellow was really shocking to me, too. Any decision in this game makes no sense to me at all.
