Young boys prove they are young and have got that young strength indeed, lol. The scorelines shows there was a battle and both teams literally tried to get a victory in game but one other team got lucky over the other. I was hoping at some point that Galatasaray was going to get a draw but it turned out they lost tho they tried their best and they really did performed brilliantly, I have always  been of the opinion that untill the game is over never conclude about the result already while they are playing because Galatasaray was looking like they were going to get better.

It seems that our expectations were too high for Dynamo Kyiv and in the end Salzburg embarrassed them in front of their fans. Galatasaray's defeat against Young Boys was by no means expected. I thought that since it was Galatasray's away match, the match was likely to be a draw. But Galatasaray lost the match 3-2. Luck was not with galatasray. This is why the team lost the match 3-2. In fact, the performance of Galatasaray players was very good in the whole match. Galatasaray's players also attacked more than Young Boys. Galatasaray made a total of 21 shots, 8 of which were on target.

The next match against Young Boys is Galatasaray's home match. There is no doubt that Galatasaray is stronger at home. Galatasaray would not be losing if it were getting good refereeing. They performed equally against Young Boys. The problem is, the referee was awful, especially for giving Young Boys a penalty at the end of the game. It's really unacceptable to see how the referee was ruining our chance to get an advantage in an away game.

The penalty made Batshuayi's goals useless. We're down by 1 goal for the second leg, but still, that's unacceptable. Lastly, I hope for a better referee. Also, minor changes in our forwards and defenders will help us qualify for the UCL.

LOSC's victory in the first leg of the play-off round will make it easier for them to advance to the Champions League to fill the vacant place. They only need to get a draw or if they lose, as long as it is not more than 1 goal they will still qualify.
However, they must be careful with Slavia Prague because I am sure they will appear aggressive in the match in the second leg later. LOSC can apply a defensive strategy, but that is also quite risky if their concentration is not created very well. Galatasaray definitely disappointed me a lot, I lost a parlay because of them, looked like it was an easy win for them on paper, definitely not something I expected at all, sad to see this.

In the end, it is champions league and getting in isn't easy, all of these teams look to get in. Remember Young Boys have been doing TERRIBLE all season long but it's been like maybe a month or so since it started, whereas they have been champions last season, which means that they are normally not a bad team, they are a great team that had just a bad period that's it.

This is why I honestly expect them to be a good team, it's just that they are not on a momentum and I believe that we are going to see them play worse at Galatasaray.

I think it wasn't that easy of a win for them on paper. It was the first leg of the match, and it was a home match for Young Boys. They are not the best team out there for sure, but you can't really write them off just like that. Galatasaray have good players for sure, but no game in football is certain. The funny thing is, the game finished with a controversial penalty. And if Galatasaray puts a solid performance in the home match in the second leg, things may turn around for their benefit.

If not for Ugrinic's controversial penalty, the game would have ended in a 2-2 draw, and things wouldn't seem as bad as it seems now. A lot to find out in the return fixture.

The quality of football in a the league of any football nation most times manifest in the performance of the national team so I'm not surprised that Turkey did had a great performance in the recently concluded European Championship because football in the country's league have significantly improved. Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray failed to win or at least secure a draw in the UEFA Champions League qualifying game against Swiss club Young Boys but I think they have all it takes to turn the tie around and find a way to progress to the finals of the competition when they host Young Boys in the second leg next season

It's very disappointing how Galatasaray was ruined by the ref for the penalty which is hitting the leg first. And i think this time the handball decision is based on the vibes now. I hope they're removing this trash rule as soon as possible. This is because it gave no certainty to the clearance of handball.

Also, the decision to give a second yellow was really shocking to me, too. Any decision in this game makes no sense to me at all.

This is a very interesting match of course because in this match full of drama that finally resulted in five goals scored in the Young Boys vs Galatasaray match. I will not blame the referee's controversial decisions if you think so but in my opinion Galatasay's defense was very weak in this match and Young Boys really took advantage of this opportunity especially playing in front of their own supporters and they succeeded.

This defeat is not the end for Galatasay because they still have a chance in the second leg to be able to turn things around in front of their own supporters. Galatasaray still has a lot of time to evaluate their squad before the second leg starts especially the defense line and must be able to score a quick goal so that their confidence increases. “Young Boys” just turned out to be much more experienced than Galatasaray in qualifying for the Euro Cup and Galatasaray was still lucky that Batshuayi was able to score 2 goals in the end and leave Galatasaray in the game and the difference in 1 goal Galatasaray is quite able to win back, the main thing is not to play as in defense as in the first match and then the chances of getting out of the playoffs will be.
Both teams play attacking soccer and watching their games is quite enjoyable, so I think the return match will be very interesting. 

With the squad they have, Galatasaray should have been able to win this match, but they made a lot of mistakes, especially after their player got a red card which allowed Young Boys to take advantage of this opportunity. Galatasaray with a team like that, losing to a team like Young Boys is certainly very sad.

There are several weaknesses of Galatasaray that I think need to be fixed, namely the position of the defenders because they are very easy to pass by the opponent, and the midfielders must be more creative in building attacks. If this can be fixed in the near future, I am sure Galatasaray will win in Istanbul. Because when Galatasaray plays in front of their own supporters, the opponent will not be able to beat them easily in Istanbul. So I think they can definitely make a comeback.

This game me lose some cash because I don't know something just played in my head that Galatasaray would win that game looking at how young boys have being struggling in their league and even their form but that was all changed after the game yesterday although I won't lie that Galatasaray really played with so much error but on a general I think the victory was well deserved but it's now going to be test for them because they would play with all focus when they travel to turkey to seal the deal.

Betting on Turkish teams is always dangerous because you never know how they will play in the end. For example, the same Besiktas in the Europa League three times led in the score and still could not win, so Turkish teams are suitable for those who like to take risks.
Although in recent years players from Europe and South America more and more often go to the Turkish league and in the same Galatasaray plays and Mertens and Icardi and Batshuayi and even returned from oblivion Hakim Ziyesh.

Galatasaray have what it takes to get win against Young Boys in the return match but they have to tighten up their defense so that they will not concede cheap goals again, they did not play well in the first half that was why they conceded 2 goals then during the second half M. Batshuayi came in an made a great change in the Galatasaray team by helping them to equalize the 2 goals but the last minute red card gave the home team the opportunity to win with a penalty kick. The second leg will determine if Galatasaray will progress or not.

Indeed. I also expected an effective football by us to beat Young Boys. But we barely saved ourselves from a huge defeat.    We were terrible at defending... It took us too long to answer with goals also. Batshuayi is like a joker. When we use him in the right time he can make a huge contribution. Those goals were a life saver for us.

For the 2nd leg, I hope we can take control of the game in the 1st half already. Because I was so frustrated with my team in that half of the last game. It was like they weren't on the pitch and Young Boys were in a training game.

But considering that a draw is enough for Young Boys and any random goal puts Galatasaray in a catastrophic position, the return game could be very tense.
I don't know how controversial that penalty was, but I like the outcome of the game - at least now we know for sure that it will be a game of life and death, and not a formality as it could have been if Galatasaray had won 2-0 in the first game.
