They also strengthened their squad, and don't really have massive lackings either. They just need a bit more fine-tuning, which can sort them out just right. Their start to the season was a bit slow, we've seen how the chemistry between the attackers are not sorted perfectly, they are struggling to link up, which can happen between star players.

Now comes the harder part of the season when UCL starts, because this year it's a bit different, there are more games, and it's harder to cope up with all the league matches also going on at the same time. Real Madrid is different breed in UCL tho, so it should be fun.

IMO, in terms of play, Manchester City is almost always consistent when playing in the UCL. If we flashback to the quarter-finals when these two teams met last season, in the two meetings Man City always dominated and controlled the course of the match. Unfortunately, at that time City had to be eliminated. This season City is still a strong team, they are one of the potential challengers in this competition to win the championship trophy. Same as Real Madrid, which has a very competitive team. It's just that Don Carlo did not strengthen the depth of his defenders. Personally, their defense can have an impact when meeting a strong opponent. So is Real Madrid's midfielder, although in terms of players they are great midfielders. However, without Kroos for now it has quite an impact even though Madrid will be able to condition him. With the way Real Madrid have dominated the champions league competition, even when their performance in the La Liga is poor, they can still fight to be amongst the major contender of the champions league trophy which they may still end up winning. They just need to be adaptable to each other when playing in the field because that’s what I see that they’re lacking now. They will and are still a possible winner this season too.

With regards to what is happening to Real Madrid in the La Liga now we shouldn't be too confident about them winning the Champions League this season because literally, no one expected them to face this difficulty they found themselves in the La Liga now and considering the level of injuries that has hit the club is already sending a message that things may not really work so well for the team as everyone thought it will. However, Real Madrid is an elite club with quality players so regardless of the injury concerns they can still perform better and possibly claim the UCL again.

I don’t see any big deal with what is happening at Real Madrid now, they’re just the same team as they’ve always been but hit with some injuries. Despite this injuries, I haven’t seen a very bad record in most of their games played so far. I am just certain that with all this injury, they can still make a difference and not be looked down on to be easily defeated. They have back ups in all of their games, so I think they will still pass through this phase and come out victorious in both competitions.

Yes, that's what Real Madrid is currently experiencing, many of their core players are injured and that will affect their game, their strength will clearly be reduced in the first match later in the UCL against Stuttgart, seeing the storm of injuries experienced by Real Madrid can be utilized by Stuttgart by achieving positive results. An injury to a player certainly spells bad news for a team. It is normal for players to get injured, teams are always prepared with players' injury potential in mind. Since Real Madrid are the champions team, they will definitely show professionalism here. While dropping some players from the main squad will disappoint the head coach, they can rely on the backup players here, without which they will have no choice (if the tested players are not fit to play). I don't think Real Madrid's squad will be disappointing for any reason, as they have enough backup players and many star players. I believe their best player Kylian Mbappe will return to form very soon and he will know his breed. There are some other star players who have already proved their worth, maybe they are not in the best form but we can expect them to return to form very soon.

I don't think you really know who is suffering from an injury. They indeed have lots of players to play with but most of them are front line players. While most of the injured players are in the midfielder position, so you can't just put the forward players to replace those who are injured, especially in the defensive midfielder position.

Honestly, it's not easy for any team when key players suffer injuries. It will definitely affect their performance, but the issue of Real Madrid players currently being injured, I don't think it will affect them in the Champions League right now because it's still the group stage. In the group stage, there is always a good opportunity for big teams to qualify for the next round because they often face teams that even their second-string players can defeat. So, in that regard, I have confidence in Real Madrid. They have good replacements for those injured players, and I believe that by the later stages of the Champions League, some players will have returned from injury.it may be a little challenging for the coach right now, but I trust that he will find solutions to these problems. There's nothing different about this Real Madrid of this season and last season, but how they played have changed truthfully and that all because of Toni Kroos. Has anyone also noticed it this way? They have found it difficult to detect the game so far this season, I don't see them winning the Champions League Competition though it's too early to talk about it. They could be bad during group stage but immediately Real Madrid gets to the knockout stage or the Semi finals, you can already give them the trophy because they'll do all they can to win it.
Last season it was clear honestly. They did great not just in the Champions League Competition alone but also in the La Liga Competition. I will say it again, I don't see them winning the Champions League Competition this season. They'll find it difficult to win this one. Maybe it's true that the training process given to their players is heavy enough to make them quickly fatigue and their performance decreases and then injured, in view of the number of injuries it is possible that this is in the training process they do, or some people are given a different and very heavy way of training to improve their abilities.

Or maybe we can just say Mbappe arrived at the wrong time  , I don't know how far  it will affect him this season or maybe it won't because  number one, he's just arriving in a new team and a new league different from the league he has been playing for couple of years, two he still needs to work on his performance, he has not been performing very well that much even before coming to Realmadrid  yet he landed in an injury zone, fans expecting Millions of goals from him... don't really know how he's gonna do it, I wish him goodluck through out the season  .

There are some problems that occur with Madrid's injured players at the moment. But I think Madrid can still do it all very well. Without me explaining again, everyone knows the quality of all the players that Madrid has and the reserve players are still very ready to face the obstacles that exist in the UCL at the moment.
Ancelotti is an experienced coach and he has been with Madrid for a long time. So even though Madrid current situation is experiencing many injured players, I believe the second string players can overcome all matches.

I know they did win the super cup but their recent performances have been nothing to write home about especially with the quality of squad they constantly field when they go up against any team.

The UCL is yet to start but I'm pretty sure Real Madrid will go very far this season unless they improve and the team can understood itself because there was a similar situation like this when PSH had Mbappe, Messi abd Neymar on their team. Everyone thought they'd win it that year for sure but it's not always as it seems and Real Madrid is just the signs already. My thesis is wrong only if the Don finds a way to get his team back to strong, consistent winning days.

Even if Real Madrid perform poorly in their domestic competition in any tournament, they are still doing well in the Champions League. Seeing their performances like this, it seems that maybe they only build a team to do well in the Champions League. With the squad they have built this season, they will surely do well in this season's Champions League and they have a great chance of winning La Liga. Last season we saw Real Madrid secure their 15th title. It would not be a surprise if they celebrate a 16th title this season as their team is stronger this season than last season.

Well, I guess we'd have to wait till the UCL competition is in full swing before we can start getting some conclusions. I know that Real Madrid has been the kings of the UCL (I'm a Liverpool fan so I know how many times we have lost to Madrid in the UCL). Hopefully what happened with PSG doesn't get to happen to Madrid otherwise they won't win this time around. The competition is different every year and this season might not be for Real Madrid. It's a good argument though, one I'd love to see how it plays out.

I'm a fan of Madrid because they honour my betslips but we can't deny their current internal struggle.

Real Madrid actually have the capacity to actually build a squad with multi players for each position and the players will be high class players but the major thing is the breaking of the wage structure set by the FIFA and the other bodies, more so the players in question would also want to play more football and wouldn’t want to sit on the bench all the time so it is not usually possible like that to have an all round star studded squad.

I will say Real Madrid actually gambled when they didn’t sign a new center back before the close of transfer window. They had the young academy graduates who picked up injury right before the season started. Carlo Ancelloti was with the intention of deploying Tchouameni to the role but him and Eder Militao now are out injured which is a scary thing for this Madrid team now. Maybe they could get anyone of them back before then or result back to the academy for a player at that position
