The team that caught my expectations short last season and I did not expect is Bayern Munich, I’m waiting patiently again because I don’t know what might come out from them during the title race. I knew Bayern Munich are tough but to an extend winning Arsenal is excellent, I predicted Arsenal winning at first leg and second leg mostly when it got to be a home game. I think they have a great potential this time and I’m expecting more since they proved they’re good during their previous champions league race, PSG as always they’re good likewise Real Madrid. The race this time will be reshuffle and we might not see that coming although I can easily predict a team strength by viewing their performance regular.

The main reason i like Ancelotti a lot is because even at this period he knows what to do, although you will still be some shaking in their defense and midfield but that won't stop them from winning games since they have a strong froward to score for them. It's about time. It has been 14 years since the last Italian team raised the cup (Inter in the 2009/10 season). It's a bit odd since Serie A is considered one of the strongest leagues in Europe.
We have 5 Italian teams participating: Inter, AC Milan, Juventus, Atalanta and Bologna.
Obviously Inter is rated as the strongest of them all. Still, Atalanta did very well in European competition last season and won the Europa Cup beating undefeated Leverkusen in the final. Maybe they can replicate their success in the UCL, but the start of the league season doesn't spark much optimism, they've lost 2 out of the first 3 games.

This is still early and the opportunity is still very large, the current obstacle is not a big problem, some players are indeed in treatment due to injury, but that will not be long in my opinion because no one has a serious injury that requires a lot of time to recover.

Real is a favourite when it comes to outright of winning La Liga, with odds of x1.50, which seems a bit odd, as it's Barcelona who are in the lead, with 4 points advantage over Real, and with amazing 13 goals in 4 matches scored so far.
But when it comes to the Champions League outright odds, Man City is the favourite with odds at x3.5 and Real is 2nd with odds of x4.5. I have a feeling we might have a few surprises this year and none of these two will make it to the UCL final.

You can call it luck, fortune or mistakes, it doesn't matter. this is how they've been playing all those years and they have won 15 Champions League playing like that. There is never a big game in Europe where Madrid completely dominates the game. They can look lost the whole game and still win. It's because they know how to win. What you call luck can be said to be their strategy. Something cannot be called luck if it happens year after year.

What they do is simple, make sure you don't create many chances and even if you create, they make sure they defend well so you don't score, then they make sure they score their own chances.
Against Bayern Munich last season, Bayern had the chance to bury the game in the first leg and second leg but they didn't take and they were knocked out.
Same thing against City. Madrid pressed and scored 3 goals in the Etihad Stadium, went to Spain and made sure to avoid defeat and take the game to penalties.

Somehow I don't agree with your opinion about Real Madrid, as if saying that Real Madrid was lucky because their opponent made a mistake even though this club is the number 1 club in the Champions League so Real Madrid's success in winning the title last season was not just luck but thanks to Carlo Anceloti's intelligence in creating a strategy he put Juselu in the final minutes and finally this player was able to break through Bayern Munich's defense and win the semifinal match and finally advance to the final so we can't say it was just luck because Real Madrid is still a strong candidate in the Champions League.
